About: I am a registered nurse currently staying at home with my two children. I am a huge dog lover and am looking to make some extra income while staying home with my babies. I grew up in a household that always had dogs as part of the family and have a lot of experience taking care of dogs. My family bred our labs and our golden retrievers so I have experience with puppies as well. “My boyfriend and I went to myrtle beach for a little weekend get away before we started up college again. We decided to take our dog, haezel with us, because she’d never been on a trio or saw the beach before. Sunday was our last day to finish up our plans before we had to leave, so we looked for a sitter. I searched and searched and searched for hours, until we ran into this sweet lady. The baby will have to be with me at ALL visits, as he is nursing and does not yet take a bottle. Most visits the oldest will also be with me, unless booking a time he is in preschool or my husband is home. I am comfortable walking dogs on a leash, crating, and picking up after them if needed. If the visit is during a meal time, I would be able feed them as well. During my visit, I can also provide play time.

I’m available for walks, drop-in visits, feeding routines, playtime, and companionship during select mornings, afternoons, and weekends. I’m intentional about keeping my schedule clear and reliable once a booking is confirmed. When caring for pets in a client’s home, I do my best to keep their routine as familiar and comfortable as possible. I follow all care instructions closely, including feeding schedules, walks, potty breaks, medication needs, litter care, playtime, and any house specific routines. I’m respectful of each home and make sure pets have fresh water, a clean space, and plenty of calm attention. I’m very mindful of safety, including secure doors, leashes, gates, and each pet’s comfort level with new people, other animals, and outdoor environments. I pay attention to body language and never force interaction. My goal is for pets to feel safe, cared for, and relaxed while their person is away.

I also have some experience with reptiles, as I have a bearded dragon of my own. About: I’ve always been an animal lover and thought this would be the perfect part-time position to be able to work with them! I use to house sit with 3 dogs and 3 cats when I was younger and also have 4 dogs myself so I am experienced with taking care of animals, I would love to start to build my clients so I can do this more! About: Thank you for considering me to care for your dogs. I know it’s not an easy decision. We also offer weekly Poop Scooping service - Just ask! I have always had a family dog. I have run an in home doggy day care, owned a pet treat bakery, earned my Vet Tech degree, worked in veterinary clinics, a specialty animal hospital, and as a pet nutrition consultant. I have cared for young and old, sick and healthy. I have seen everything at this point. One of my dogs had seizures so I know how difficult it can be to trust someone with a pet with medical conditions. I’m here to help. I hope to make this my full time job aside from mom.
