I’m incredibly loving and attentive, always making sure your pets feel secure while you’re away. Whether your pet is energetic, shy, senior, or somewhere in between, I meet them with calm, compassionate care tailored to their needs. My husband and I are both retired and just moved back to Leland, NC. We both have completely open availability to accommodate any needs or schedule. I have a spacious, fully fenced backyard and two friendly dogs to keep your pup company. My schnauzer especially loves to play and is always excited to make a new friend! My husband is also at home—he’s a true animal lover (and a bit of a dog whisperer). Our pups are our kids, and we treat all animals like family. They’re welcome on the furniture, in the bed, and anywhere else that makes them feel safe, loved, and comfortable.

I work 6-hour shifts, 5 days a week, so I have flexibility before and after work as well as on my days off. I am off my actual job Sundays/ Mondays. Tuesdays I work 10-4. Wednesdays/ Thursdays I work 8-2. Fridays I work 2-8. My Saturday schedule varies! I’m also a mom, so my daughter may occasionally be with me for walks or drop in visits. I’m happy to work with each pet parent to find a schedule that works well for everyone! Whether your pet is staying in my home or I’m caring for them in yours, I’ll make sure they receive plenty of attention, love, playtime, and care based on their individual routine. I’ll follow your instructions for feeding, walks, medications, potty breaks, and anything else they need to feel comfortable. In your home, I’ll respect your space and keep your pet’s normal routine as consistent as possible. In my home, I’ll provide a safe, comfortable, and loving environment where they can relax and feel at home.

About: I’m a lifelong animal lover whose always had dogs and cats throughout my childhood and adulthood. I also have professional experience working at a doggy daycare, where I cared for 70+ dogs each day. That experience taught me how to handle dogs with a wide range of personalities, energy levels, and needs while making sure every pup feels safe, happy, and loved. At home, we have a good sized fully fenced-in yard where your dog can run, play, and get plenty of outdoor time. I also love staying active myself, so going for walks with the dogs is one of my favorite parts of pet care. Whether your pet needs some extra playtime, a good long walk, or simply some love and companionship while you’re away, I’ll treat them like one of my own. I recently moved to North Carolina from Massachusetts with my fur babies and husband for my husband’s career and to continue his college career at UNCW. Currently, I am not working and pet care is my only focus. I give all my animals/the animals that I care for lots of love and attention. Additionally, I give them lots of play time and exercise.

About: I have had a furry friend in my life in some form or another since I was very young. I have experience with both more reactive and friendly breeds and have no preference on the kinds I work with. I use patience and understanding to make them feel safe. I worked professionally as a dog walker and pet sitter for two years to multiple dogs and can bring love and affection to any animals in my care. I am responsible, punctual and a great communicator and can be an asset in caring for your dog or other animals while you are away or on a regular basis for walks. I work 4 nights a week from 3pm-11pm downtown. I am not opposed to early morning visits or late nights visits if required and am available for overnights. I do a walkthrough with owners of exact locations for all your pets, learn their quirks, the things they love and don’t like and what might come up during my stay with them. I answer all phone calls and texts from owners while they are away to ensure they feel safe and comfortable knowing their animals are properly cared for.

About: I have two dogs that I walk and care for each day for 10 years. I have fostered dogs in the past of various ages and breeds from puppies to senior dogs. I am a recent UNCW graduate taking a semester off and a dad who is available during school hours. Happy and excited to play with and walk your dogs! About: I have been around dogs my whole life. In my neighborhood growing up I was the go to dog sitter!! I am also a proud dog mom myself I am a college student I have one class a day, so I am REALLY flexible with what times I can come walk or check in on your dog. I normally have chill weekends too.
