Whether your pet is energetic, shy, senior, or somewhere in between, I meet them with calm, compassionate care tailored to their needs. My husband and I are both retired and just moved back to Leland, NC. We both have completely open availability to accommodate any needs or schedule. I have a spacious, fully fenced backyard and two friendly dogs to keep your pup company. My schnauzer especially loves to play and is always excited to make a new friend! My husband is also at home—he’s a true animal lover (and a bit of a dog whisperer). Our pups are our kids, and we treat all animals like family. They’re welcome on the furniture, in the bed, and anywhere else that makes them feel safe, loved, and comfortable.

About: Lifelong animal lover, happy to take care of your fur babies. Pets are family, i know how hard it is to leave your pets with just anyone. My goal is to make you feel at peace knowing your babies are taken care of properly and loved the way they should be. I’m patient, dependable, and attentive to each pet’s individual personality and needs. Whether your pup needs a good walk, lots of playtime, some extra cuddles, or your kitty just needs someone to keep them company, I’m here for it! I’ll treat your pets like they’re my own and keep you updated with plenty of photos and messages so you can relax knowing they’re being loved on. I work 6-hour shifts, 5 days a week, so I have flexibility before and after work as well as on my days off. I am off my actual job Sundays/ Mondays. Tuesdays I work 10-4. Wednesdays/ Thursdays I work 8-2. Fridays I work 2-8. My Saturday schedule varies! I’m also a mom, so my daughter may occasionally be with me for walks or drop in visits. I’m happy to work with each pet parent to find a schedule that works well for everyone! Whether your pet is staying in my home or I’m caring for them in yours, I’ll make sure they receive plenty of attention, love, playtime, and care based on their individual routine. I’ll follow your instructions for feeding, walks, medications, potty breaks, and anything else they need to feel comfortable. In your home, I’ll respect your space and keep your pet’s normal routine as consistent as possible. In my home, I’ll provide a safe, comfortable, and loving environment where they can relax and feel at home.

About: I grew up being the one primarily responsible for taking care of my family’s labradors. I’ve always been an animal lover. My family has both a Boykin Spaniel and a Russian Blue cat. I have also taken care of family friends and neighbors cats and dogs. I love going for walks and playing with furry friends. I understand your needs and pay great attention to detail. I will communicate with you as much as you'd like with pictures, video's, texts and phone calls. I will provide references to make you feel comfortable, secure knowing that your fur baby or babies are well taken care of while you are away. I am home full time. Plenty of time for walks and playing. Your pet or pets are never alone and I provide 24 hour service. I have a secure fenced-in yard. Your pets will be in an loving environment with a sweet 13lb dog in the house. Very sweet and loving cocker spaniel will provide lots of company for your pet or pets. About: I have taken care of animals for the majority of my life whether that be nursing stray kittens back to health, assembling special meals for my dogs specific health requirements, or pet and house sitting for friends and family members so they could take a well needed vacation. I have always held a deep love for animals and a career where I can be around them all day sounds more like a dream than a job. While not a certified dog trainer I do have experience with training puppies for small tricks such as sit, place, stay, down, etc. and would be happy to teach your fur baby as I take care of them.
