About: I’ve loved animals for as long as I can remember and have always enjoyed being around all kinds of pets- from cats and dogs to farm animals. Caring for animals has always come naturally to me, and I’ve dreamed of having the opportunity to spend more time with them. My husband and I moved to Wilmington about 10 years ago, and for much of that time, life kept us so busy that having a pet of our own didn’t feel fair. Since I haven’t had pets of my own during this time, I’ve happily gotten my animal fix by pet sitting for friends and caring for their cats and dogs whenever they’ve needed someone they trust. I work away from home (Registered Nurse since 2016) just one day a week, which gives me plenty of flexibility and time to give your pets the attention, companionship, walks, playtime, and love they deserve. I have a fenced in yard, a nice neighborhood for walks and no other pets to care for. I know how important it is to feel comfortable leaving your pets in someone else’s care, and I’ll treat them like they’re my own.

I was later promoted to a Veterinary Assistant in the Cardiology department, where I assisted with advanced procedures such as echocardiograms, ECGs, blood pressure monitoring, placing heart monitors, etc. I also educated clients on heart conditions, managed medical records, and ensured accurate care for every patient. In addition to my veterinary background, I have previous pet sitting experience caring for dogs, cats, and even chickens. I’m comfortable with feeding routines, medication administration, exercise needs, and providing attentive, reliable care while you’re away.
