My husband and I are both retired and just moved back to Leland, NC. We both have completely open availability to accommodate any needs or schedule. I have a spacious, fully fenced backyard and two friendly dogs to keep your pup company. My schnauzer especially loves to play and is always excited to make a new friend! My husband is also at home—he’s a true animal lover (and a bit of a dog whisperer). Our pups are our kids, and we treat all animals like family. They’re welcome on the furniture, in the bed, and anywhere else that makes them feel safe, loved, and comfortable.

I have two dogs myself a 3-year-old Aussiedoodle named Maxine and a 1-year-old Goldendoodle named Meeko so I truly understand how important it is to find someone you can trust with your pets. I work 6-hour shifts, 5 days a week, so I have flexibility before and after work as well as on my days off. I am off my actual job Sundays/ Mondays. Tuesdays I work 10-4. Wednesdays/ Thursdays I work 8-2. Fridays I work 2-8. My Saturday schedule varies! I’m also a mom, so my daughter may occasionally be with me for walks or drop in visits. I’m happy to work with each pet parent to find a schedule that works well for everyone! Whether your pet is staying in my home or I’m caring for them in yours, I’ll make sure they receive plenty of attention, love, playtime, and care based on their individual routine. I’ll follow your instructions for feeding, walks, medications, potty breaks, and anything else they need to feel comfortable. In your home, I’ll respect your space and keep your pet’s normal routine as consistent as possible. About: I grew up being the one primarily responsible for taking care of my family’s labradors. I’ve always been an animal lover. My family has both a Boykin Spaniel and a Russian Blue cat. I have also taken care of family friends and neighbors cats and dogs. I love going for walks and playing with furry friends. I’m currently working a flexible part time research job on weekdays so I’ll have plenty of time to give your pets the attention they deserve! I live in a 2 story townhome with a small fenced in yard. My neighborhood is very pet friendly including a dog park. Although I have a cat and dog, they do not live in my townhome, and stay at my family’s house. Your pets would be receiving my full attention! I am very accommodating to any and all requests for your pet needs!

About: Hello! I have been dog sitting on Rover for several years now and I absolutely love it. Some facts about me are that I’m active in my church, love exploring, being in nature, and drinking coffee with friends! I grew up owning dogs and I love them! I have experience with dogs of all ages and sizes, and staying overnight and taking them on walks. I am a timely person who will be careful to remember your specific needs and instructions in taking care of your dog. I have experience in staying alert around other dogs and either making sure they will get along before approaching or crossing the street. I’m happy to take your dog for walks and potty breaks throughout the day, and most of all give your dog lots of love, cuddles and good company! About: I am a certified, licensed, and insured dog trainer and the owner of Chaos To Clarity K9. I work with dogs and their families on obedience, leash skills, everyday manners, and behavior challenges. Many of the dogs I help are everyday family dogs who need guidance with things like pulling on leash, barking, jumping, reactivity, or learning how to settle in the home. I also enjoy working with puppies and helping owners build strong foundations early through clear communication and consistency. I have a strong interest in behavior modification, especially helping dogs work through fear, stress, and reactivity at a pace that keeps them comfortable and learning. My husband is a Registered Veterinary Technician (RVT) and a combat veteran and former military police K9 handler who trained civilian police dogs. Because of his veterinary background, I’m also able to consult with him when behavior questions may have a possible medical component, which can sometimes play a role in behavior. I live with multiple sclerosis and am raising an autistic four-year-old, so I appreciate how important it is for training to be practical, realistic, and supportive of the household environment. One thing that’s very important to me is paying attention to canine body language and stress signals. Dogs communicate constantly through subtle changes in posture, facial expression, and movement, and recognizing those signals early can prevent many behavior problems from escalating. During training, I help owners learn how to recognize what their dog is communicating so they can respond in a way that builds trust, confidence, and better behavior over time. Dog training is part of my regular weekly routine, and I intentionally keep my schedule structured so each client receives focused attention.
