My husband and I are both retired and just moved back to Leland, NC. We both have completely open availability to accommodate any needs or schedule. I have a spacious, fully fenced backyard and two friendly dogs to keep your pup company. My schnauzer especially loves to play and is always excited to make a new friend! My husband is also at home—he’s a true animal lover (and a bit of a dog whisperer). Our pups are our kids, and we treat all animals like family. They’re welcome on the furniture, in the bed, and anywhere else that makes them feel safe, loved, and comfortable.

About: Hi! My name is Haleigh and I am an animal lover! I have been taking great care of other people's pets for about 10 years now, and I absolutely love doing it. I have had dogs my whole life on top of my experience pet-sitting, so I understand most of their needs and how to take exceptional care of them. I understand that these are not just pets, they are family members, and I always intend to treat them just as that. I have house-sat while taking care of the pets, made drop in visits through out the day, and have walked multiple dogs at once. I am very reliable and attentive. About: I have been around pets my whole life! I have taken care of each and every pet I’ve had. I have always had either a dog or cat in my house. And each of my family members have had pets that I have been around as well. I also use to volunteer at a wildlife rehabilitation center, where I cared for injured animals. I have my own mini farm, where I have pigs, goats, chickens, ducks and turkeys! So if you need any of those types of animals cared for I can do that too! I have a very flexible schedule so I basically have the whole day to come take care of any pets! I have plenty of time to come and hang out with your furry family! I have four loving dogs that get outside all day long because I have so much time during the day and a very large fenced in backyard. We go on walks all the time! We can have a pet play date if your pet likes other dogs. If you need your pet needs to crated, I can do that. If they need soothing music put on, I can do that too!

About: I’m an animal loving former teacher and I'd love to put my time to good use doing what I love. I love walking and running and would love to take your dog along! I’m a huge cat fan as well! I have had a dog with diabetes so I'm experienced and comfortable in administering insulin and other medications. I am extremely trustworthy as any background check can prove. I have a much loved dog and cats myself so I know how much your pets mean to you. It would be a load off of your mind to have me taking care of them for you. About: I’ve taken care of dogs and cats since I was 5, growing up my street had so many chihuahuas. I will take care of your pets like they’re my own. Right now I’m in college so I’m doing this for a little extra money and for something to do. I would love this extra time to care and love your pets as if they are my own plus it would give me something to do. (I promise I have so much free time on my hands this would really help lol) I would keep your dog inside. We would do activities such as walking your dog at a park or around my house. You must bring your own dog/cat food.

About: I love dogs!! I have taken care of dogs for family, friends, and clients for over six years. I have experience with all breeds and sizes. I treat every dog like I would my own: with love, care, and extra treats😉 I am a student with a very flexible routine. My nights are always free and I have large breaks in between classes where I can leave campus. I am very respectful of other people's homes and I leave things exactly as I left them, if not cleaner. About: I have four cats and a german shepherd. I grew up having dogs and cats my whole life. I have raised kittens and bottle fed them and have experience with small dogs and very large dogs. I currently work full time monday- friday. I am available early mornings, I have an hour lunch break, and I am available after 3pm most days! I am free all day on the weekends. I can easily travel to care for your pets and do whatever is necessary to provide proper care! I cannot bring your pets to my home however I can transport them!

About: I've been around well trained and untrained dogs alike for most of my life. I am capable with strong dogs, aggressive dogs, and dogs who just have tons of energy! I am currently doing gig work in the film industry, so in between gigs I have plenty of time to care for our furry friends. I care for other people's pets same as I care for mine at home. Simple basics are essential, but the magic happens when you build a bond and enrich each other's time together.

About: Looking for someone who loves animals more than people? I have been surrounded by all types of pets and animals since I was a child. I have mastered the Shiba Inu and bonded with Catahoulas. I love lap dogs and high energy dogs, big dogs and little dogs. I am trying to make this a full time job because I love dogs so much. I understand body language of dogs and have so much fun providing a safe and comfortable space for my visitors with a large fenced yard and lots of routs for long walks. About: I’ve been an owner of 3 pets for more than 10 years. I’m a pre-veterinarian student and have worked at animal hospitals for 5 years. Everyday as I take care of my cat and used to intern at paws4people and took care of puppies while they were growing into adolescence. I care for every pet like they’re my own, making sure they feel safe, comfortable, loved, and well cared for. In my home, I provide plenty of attention, playtime, walks, and a calm environment. In a client’s home, I follow their pet’s routine closely, including feeding, medications if needed, walks, playtime, and lots of cuddles!

About: I been taking care of dogs mostly since I was 6 years old . My best friend has a giant Saint Bernard and I been helping her take care of him for the past 6 years . I love him :) I love taking care of all animals big or small . Right now I help my best friend take care of her giant Saint Bernard :) I’m always respectful of someone else’s home and respect all their wishes and rules in or out of the house . And I always clean up after every visit .

About: Horses. Currently have 2 horses and have been around them since I was 3. Have only had my 2 since 2010. Also have 2 dogs that were originally from the Wake County Animal Center and fostered by me and have experience administering medication as needed for multiple species. I have a rabbit, dove, cat, and chickens. I currently work full time as an Animal Health Care Technician so would be available for overnight care, evening and early morning walks. On days I am off I would be happy to do middle of the day walks and help as best as possible! I can easily crate your dog if needed but if you think they would be more comfortable at your house I can keep them in their own environment to be suit them! and you!

About: I’ve cared for and owned animals of all kinds. I have experienced in Dog, Cat, and some reptile care. I promise to provide a safe environment for your pets while keeping open communication and providing regular updates. I’m currently a college student who is working part time in Wilmington. Due to that my availability is limited to Friday-Sunday anytime rain or shine For all clients I will provide the same level of care that i do for my own pets constant play, supervision, and potty breaks. For daycare clients my pets will be out of the home. I also have access to 7 acres for your dogs to roam and play in (supervised and on leash) and an already pet proofed home.

About: I can’t remember an age where I wasn’t helping birth and raise kittens and puppies, turtles, or rodents. From having blind, toothless senior chihuahuas and senile cats…to a litter of brand new pups or kittens struggling to catch their first breath I’ve been part of it. I’ve had several rodents and reptiles, and cared for my friends and family birds as well. Trained puppies and kittens to use the potty and more. Also helped with a few farm animals too. I work only 20-25hrs a week, so I’ll always be home within 6hours or less. Outside of work, I’m home hanging out with my kids and furbabies. I have two e.s.a. Certified cats who tend to hide away when someone new is here. I’ve had them both since babies (13y & 3y). Keep things clean, organized, healthy, I had a cleaning company too. I don’t have crates on hand or an outside fence but I have a huge yard, the neighbor has a spayed female American bulldog, very friendly. There are farm animals next door. However, I do appreciate being where the pet is comfortable and knows its space.
