Whether your furry friend needs walks, playtime, cuddles, or simply a calm and caring companion while you’re away, I’ll treat them as if they were my own. Since my kids are pretty grown now, it seems my life revolves around my animals. I am active, so I love to take the pups for walks or hikes (depending on weather). The cats sort of do their own thing, but I’m always down for cat snugs. Our home does allow animals to have free roam. They are allowed in all rooms and on furniture. If your babies are not good with cats, we will not be able to take them. We will give them all the love while you are away and send your photos as much (or as little) as you would like. In your home I will respect all your rules. If you don’t want them on furniture or particular rooms, just let me know and we will follow those guidelines. About: One of my biggest strengths as a pet sitter is my high energy and fun loving personality. I genuinely enjoy being active, whether that means long walks and jogs or playing fetch for half an hour. Whether your pet wants to cuddle on the couch or burn off energy with playtime, I'm happy to match their pace and make sure they feel safe and happy while you're away. I'm out the door Monday- Friday from 0730 to approx. 1600. I could walk/run/feed your pets in the morning prior to then and anytime after I'm home from work. Saturday and Sunday I am very flexible :) I have two cats that I will keep upstairs to give your pet the privacy and space on the first floor when boarding. I live in a townhouse with a small front and backyard but would most likely be walking/ jogging around the block with your doggo if boarding.

About: I’ve always connected well with animals, especially dogs. I’ve dog walked and watched others’ animals from a very young age. I was 22 when I decided to become a dog trainer. I was fortunate enough to attend one of the best programs in the country at Animal Behavior College, with a certificate in canine behavior therapy & a concentration in rehabilitating shelter dogs. I’m also qualified to train emotional support animals, which has been so rewarding. I chose this as a career path because of how much I genuinely love all living things. I can’t wait to meet your furry friends and give them the best care they could ask for! I own my own business, so I make my own schedule. I can tend to whatever schedule best suits the animals. I don’t have pets of my own, so that gives me even more flexibility. I always make sure I’m doing my best to care for animals, in any aspect of my life or career. I’m diligent in making sure their feeding, walking and play schedules are upheld promptly, and that their routines stay relatively in tact. This is one of the best things you can do to ease a pet’s anxiety about their owners being away. I work as a trainer, which means I’m happy to add on training sessions with your pet while they’re in my care, through my business if that’s something of interest. I’m very amenable to the specifications for each individual animal. Some dogs like to be given affection on the couch for a few minutes each day. Others might enjoy watching the birds in their yard for a while. I’m always happy to attune my care for each dog. When walking a dog, the quality of the walks are just as important as their frequency. Dogs require a certain level of mental stimulation each day, and ten minutes of sniffing is enough to satisfy most dog’s needs. They need the sniffing as much as the exercise. Your dog will be given ample time to sniff and “read the doggy newspaper”, as well as get some great exercise. I always make sure the animal has gotten everything that they need from the experience.
