About: You can trust me to take excellent care of your pet! As well as owning my own pets most of my life (dogs, cats, ferret, bird, rabbits, etc.), I also have a Bachelor of Science degree in pre-veterinary medicine. I have pet-sat for several friends and clients, volunteered at shelters, worked at veterinary clinics, boarding facilities, and for a professional dog walking / cat sitting company. You can rest easy as your pet will be safe in my care. I follow directions well and get the details right! Why I love dog walking and sitting: I have been a dog lover since the day I was born. My first dog, Chief, helped raise me! Since then, I have owned a dog most of my life. Some have called me the "dog-whisperer". I have a pretty good perception of dogs and connect very easily with most. My last dog, Wendell, was a 150 lb. mastiff whom I adopted when he was 4.5 years old. He had never been socialized and was scared of most people, so in the six years we were together, I gained a lot of first-hand experience working through behavioral issues in a very large and strong breed. Our current dog is Lucy, a happy-go-lucky bull terrier who is deaf. She loves every living being! I also love taking care of cats and other pets. I've given lots of oral meds and various ointments, eye drops, ear drops, etc. Much of my week is flexible. I do have another part-time job Monday-Thursday mornings, but let me know your needs and I will do my best to accommodate! ONE DOG FAMILY AT A TIME Boarding and Doggie Day Care: It will only be your dog(s) and our one dog staying at our house. We have a secure, privacy-fenced yard, a doggie door, and a covered back patio with doggie beds perfect for lounging in the sun or shade. Our friendly bull terrier, Lucy, will happily keep your dog company! We can easily keep your dog in a separate room while we are away from the house if needed. Lucy’s dad/my significant other, Pedro, also lives here and also loves animals.

About: I’m a lifelong animal lover whose always had dogs and cats throughout my childhood and adulthood. I also have professional experience working at a doggy daycare, where I cared for 70+ dogs each day. About: We have been taking care of dogs since 2018! We are so enjoying it!! Hubby walks the dogs and I cuddle and play! It's a win win for your fur baby! For doggie day care we are available between 8 am and 6pm Monday through Friday. Would love long term . We do have one small dog. For boarding we are available both weekdays and weekends. We have a nice fenced-in backyard and my husband takes the dogs out for walks when possible! When that option isn't available,they have dedicated playtime in the yard.We have one dog that is not initially playful but takes a while to warm up but he does typically! I do require a meet and greet before committing and for pets to show proof of rabies shots,heartworm and flea and tic treatments. I work part time outside the home but my hubby works part time in the home so rarely are we both gone at the same time. I have a fenced in yard and my husband tries to walk our dog daily.Typically will hit the area walking trails. If necessary, he is willing to walk animals separately(older dog who can not walk as long or dogs who have health challenges)Our dog is aloof and takes a bit of time to adjust but usually does. We are attentive to this and supervise very closely until we see how things are going to be. We own both a large and small dog crate and can separate them if needed

About: I have a very well happily trained service animal that helps other animals and people keeping everyone happy. My goal is to always keep the animal happy while being trained. Every walk is to bring happiness to the animal. Every drop in visit is to bring an animal a peace of mind an happiness. Along with 30 min of training on necessary manners and any tricks we are working on at the time. They get fed 2 times a day with appropriate vitamins and supplements for each of my animals! My boyfriend also grew up with dogs, so we’re both very comfortable around them and genuinely love having them around. I understand that every pup has their own personality and routine, and I’m happy to adapt to their individual needs to make sure they feel safe, comfortable, and loved while they’re with us. I’m new to Rover, but definitely not new to caring for dogs! I work from home, which gives me plenty of flexibility throughout the day to give your pup lots of attention, walks, and playtime. I live downtown and love walking, so having a furry companion join me on my daily walks would be a plus! I also live a very active lifestyle, and on the weekends my boyfriend and I love getting out and about. We live by ourselves and have plenty of time to make sure your pup gets all the attention and care they need. I’ve grown up with dogs and absolutely love having them around, so I would treat your pup just like my own! My apartment complex has a fenced-in dog park where they can safely play and get some exercise. Since my boyfriend and I live by ourselves, we can provide a calm, comfortable environment with plenty of attention. I’m also happy to follow your pup’s normal routine, feeding schedule, walks, and any specific instructions you provide so they feel as comfortable and at home as possible.

About: I’m a lifelong animal lover whose always had dogs and cats throughout my childhood and adulthood. I also have professional experience working at a doggy daycare, where I cared for 70+ dogs each day. That experience taught me how to handle dogs with a wide range of personalities, energy levels, and needs while making sure every pup feels safe, happy, and loved. At home, we have a good sized fully fenced-in yard where your dog can run, play, and get plenty of outdoor time. I also love staying active myself, so going for walks with the dogs is one of my favorite parts of pet care. Whether your pet needs some extra playtime, a good long walk, or simply some love and companionship while you’re away, I’ll treat them like one of my own. I recently moved to North Carolina from Massachusetts with my fur babies and husband for my husband’s career and to continue his college career at UNCW. Currently, I am not working and pet care is my only focus. I give all my animals/the animals that I care for lots of love and attention. Additionally, I give them lots of play time and exercise.

About: The summer I graduated from college I created a side gig in which I walked and sat dogs and cats for folks in the Brunswick Forest community of Leland, NC. My name was semi-well known in the community for a few months as I helped out many people in BF. In addition, walking and sitting dogs and cats is something I’ve been doing for the past few months. My sister has Rover account and she’s walks and sits pets. She gives me all of the gigs she doesn’t have the time for. Now I figured it’s time for me to create an account of my own! I currently work 40 hours a week. Aside from the fact that I’ll have to be gone at work for 5-8 hours most days out of the week, I’ll be very available for your dog/cat. I’m available for boarding any day of any week. As far as boarding goes, I’ve spent nights at customers places of residence and I’ve also invited dogs/cats into my apartment when the customer prefers that. I’m okay with both(keeping in mind there’s a 100% chance your dog or cat would prefer to remain in their own territory). If your dog or cat is going to be staying at my place, I only ask that they are potty trained. If a dog walking service is something you’d like me to do, we would have to schedule things on a weekly basis, as my schedule changes every week. I would have to walk your dog either before or after my shift. If walking your dog is something you’d like me to do for you on a multi-weekly basis, then I would let you know my work schedule at the beginning of every week and we would plan the walks for the week from there. I never fail to keep anyone updated. I only get 30 mins for lunch and my apartment is 15 mins away from my place of work. So, driving back to my place or someone else’s place to tend to a pet during my lunch wouldn’t be an option. Walking a dog during my lunch would be equally impossible. But, like I said, I’d be willing to walk a dog directly before or after a work shift. I live in an apartment in Birchwood Park, on Birchwood Drive. So, I don’t have a backyard. However, if you ever come over to my apartment complex you’d discover that’s there’s quite a bit of open and grassy space within the confines of the complex. My point being, if I invite your dog to my apartment then it’s not a problem for me to take them outside every 2-3 hours, or however often you’d prefer. It should go without saying that directly before I leave for a work shift I will always make sure your dog has been taken outside to go to the bathroom. I’ll also take them on a walk if that’s something you’d like me to do. And as always, I’ll make sure they’re fed before I leave. I’ll also take them out, feed them, and/or walk them as soon as I return from work. I will follow your instructions exactly the way you intended for them to be followed. I won’t miss a beat or a step. If sending you pictures of your dog or cat while you’re away is something that you’d like me to do, then I can do that. When your dog or cat(or any pet for that matter) is in my care, then you may truly be at ease. I love dogs and cats alike. I love playing and interacting with them.
