I have experience working with a range of animals! I’ve had experience with many types and sizes of dogs, from Japanese Chins to German Shepherds. My experience with cats ranges from feral to domestic. I have experience giving both cats and dogs oral medication including pills, syringes, and powder mixed into food. I have been around both kittens and puppies as well as senior animals. I have been pet sitting for three years, and I have been a loving pet owner my entire life— I have twenty years experience being around cats, and ten years experience with dogs. I have also had experience with fish, guinea pigs, and hermit crabs! I love spending time with animals and giving them lots of love and attention. I would be happy to play with them, snuggle with them, and brush them! Caring for animals is something I’ve always been passionate about, and I’m able to be here to help care for your pets because of the things that I’ve spent a lifetime learning— I learned that there are a lot of overall similar traits and behaviors in animals, while also knowing that every animal is unique with their own personality and needs. I take into consideration your pet’s individual needs and interests, and make sure that those needs are always met and that your pet is happy. I truly value your furry friend as a friend, and promise to take the utmost care of them while you are away! I personally have had a total of eight cats over the course of my life. Four were feral, three were strays, and I adopted one. The two cats I currently have are Melanie, who I adopted ten years ago, and I took in Amy when she showed up on my deck, pregnant, in an ice storm six years ago.
