About: You can trust me to take excellent care of your pet! As well as owning my own pets most of my life (dogs, cats, ferret, bird, rabbits, etc.), I also have a Bachelor of Science degree in pre-veterinary medicine. I have pet-sat for several friends and clients, volunteered at shelters, worked at veterinary clinics, boarding facilities, and for a professional dog walking / cat sitting company. You can rest easy as your pet will be safe in my care. I follow directions well and get the details right! Why I love dog walking and sitting: I have been a dog lover since the day I was born. My first dog, Chief, helped raise me! Since then, I have owned a dog most of my life. Some have called me the "dog-whisperer". I have a pretty good perception of dogs and connect very easily with most. My last dog, Wendell, was a 150 lb. mastiff whom I adopted when he was 4.5 years old. He had never been socialized and was scared of most people, so in the six years we were together, I gained a lot of first-hand experience working through behavioral issues in a very large and strong breed. Our current dog is Lucy, a happy-go-lucky bull terrier who is deaf. She loves every living being! I’m also comfortable taking care of cats and other pets. My experience administering medication: I've given lots of oral meds and various ointments, eye drops, ear drops, etc. My schedule is pretty flexible. I’m typically available any day of the week and can do early mornings and late evenings if needed. Let me know your needs and I will do my best to accommodate! ONE DOG FAMILY AT A TIME Boarding and Doggie Day Care: It will only be your dog(s) and our one dog staying at our house. We have a secure, fenced yard, a doggie door, and a covered back patio with doggie beds perfect for lounging in the sun or shade. Our friendly bull terrier, Lucy, will happily keep your dog company! We can easily keep your dog in a separate room while we are away from the house if you prefer. Lucy’s dad/my significant other, Pedro, also lives here and also loves animals.
“Gabriella is hands down the best! She took care of our baby like he was her own and updated me with pictures often! We will definitely be using her for future stays & referring friends! 🐶🐾”

“Andrew and Erin, I’ve been the best pet sitters we could ask for! Our little multi-Pooh, Chloe, absolutely loves them, and has a great time with them! They are very communicative, kind and send lots of pictures and updates. It makes leaving her so much easier knowing that she’s having a great time while I’m gone.”

“Taylor took great care of our 17 year old senior pup. She has an array of age-related needs, and he made sure she was comfortable, eating regularly, and getting outside...and all of those things are challenging for her at this point. I would highly recommend him!”

“Another great stay at Kelly’s! Despite the rain, she was able to keep Dune busy and send me lots of photo updates which I appreciate! Would highly recommend Kelly!”

“This was our second stay with Jordan, and I realized I never left a review after the first one. However, I definitely should have! As a first time Rover user, in fact the first time ever leaving my 9-year old pup with a stranger, I was incredibly nervous about leaving my dog with someone new. Jordan completely exceeded my expectations. He sent thoughtful updates throughout the stay with a plethora of photos, which gave me so much peace of mind, and it was obvious that my dog was being loved and well cared for. Not only is Jordan amazing, but his family is so kind and welcoming. You can truly tell they care about the dogs they watch and treat them like part of the family. Knowing my pup was safe, happy, and surrounded by so much love made all the difference. I can't thank Jordan enough for taking such great care of my dog, Lily. If you're looking for someone trustworthy, caring, and communicative, I highly recommend booking with him. We'll definitely be back!”

“Josephine was very accomodating for our last minute dogsitting needs Thanksgiving weekend. She took great care of Lucy who loved playing with Roxy! We appreciate her patience and love she gave our anxious dog.”

Also, expect the cutest photos of your pet everyday”

With my own cat, I know how sensitive they can be to changes, so I prioritize keeping their routine consistent, their environment calm, and their trust earned gently. “Steven and his family did a fantastic job caring for my pup! Walks, play and he even gave him a bath after a long day of play. Steven was very cordial, prompt and sent some pics throughout the day!”

About: We have been taking care of dogs since 2018! We are so enjoying it!! Hubby walks the dogs and I cuddle and play! It's a win win for your fur baby! For doggie day care we are available between 8 am and 6pm Monday through Friday. Would love long term . We do have one small dog. For boarding we are available both weekdays and weekends. We have a nice fenced-in backyard and my husband takes the dogs out for walks when possible! When that option isn't available, they have dedicated playtime in the yard.We have one dog that is not initially playful but takes a while to warm up but he does typically! I do require a meet and greet before committing and for pets to show proof of rabies shots, heartworm and flea and tic treatments. I work part time outside the home but my hubby works part time in the home so rarely are we both gone at the same time. I have a fenced in yard and my husband tries to walk our dog daily.Typically will hit the area walking trails. If necessary, he is willing to walk animals separately(older dog who can not walk as long or dogs who have health challenges)Our dog is aloof and takes a bit of time to adjust but usually does. We are attentive to this and supervise very closely until we see how things are going to be. We own both a large and small dog crate and can separate them if needed
“Our pup came home so tired from having so much fun! Really nice and accommodating. We will definitely use her again, we had peace of mind leaving our pup with her.”

“Colby & Debbie are wonderful to work with. They take great care of my puppy & always send plenty of photos to ease my mind. They have so kindly adapted to her little puppy needs & pay close attention to how she is feeling. I look forward to bringing her to their home because I know that Albie will have a blast being loved all day & playing with their pups while I also can focus on work without worrying. They are wonderful & I absolutely trust their care!”

“Savannah is great! She went above and beyond to accommodate my fluctuating schedule while I was in town for family events. She was extremely kind and sensitive to Sunny's needs. He is an older dog, and needs medication and TLC. She sent updates and photos, always a reassuring thing! I would give her 10 stars if I could, and am very happy to have found her. I will absolutely use her again!”
About: I’ve taken care of dogs of every size since I was 10. Neighbors, friends, and family have relied on me to feed, play/exercise, bathe/groom, and love their pets while traveling, moving, or working. Are the morning walks not cutting it for your pup? Do they still have too much energy during the day? Now introducing “Dog Jogs!” Instead of a walk around the block, I will take your dog on a couple mile jog, solo or with other pups, to use up that puppy energy so they will sleep all day while you’re working. Additionally, I work from home and have plenty of time throughout the day for regular exercise and bathroom breaks. I live in a dog friendly community on the first floor with direct access to a large, grassy backyard. Your pet will be looked after at all times during the day, and would never be left alone. I do not have my own pets at this time, and your fur baby would receive all the love and attention it deserves.

About: Animals have been a huge part of my life since I was young. I started caring for dogs and cats were neighbors, friends, and family around age 10, and have also gained around three years of professional experience working in dog boarding facilities. Through my experience, I have cared for puppies, senior pets, dogs of all sizes and personalities, cats, and multi pet households. I am comfortable with walks, feeding routines, playtime, crate routines, senior care, and routine medication administration. I understand that every pet has their own personality and needs, and I take the time to make sure each one feels safe, comfortable, and loved. My background as a birth Doula has strengthened my patience, compassion, organization, and ability to stay calm under pressure. I bring those same qualities into pet care by providing dependable communication, attention to detail, and a calm presence for your pets while you’re away. I’m also a proud dog mom, and I know firsthand that pets are family. My goal is to treat every pet like my own while giving you peace of mind through reliable care, updates, and lots of love. Pet care fits naturally into my daily routine and is something I truly enjoy being a part of my life. I am open about my availability and will always communicate my on-call dates with pet parents ahead of time. When I am available, I have the flexibility to dedicate quality time to your pets and provide reliable, attentive care. If a birth call overlaps with a booking, I will communicate as early as possible and make sure we have a clear plan in place. My goal is to create a dependable routine for your pets, while giving you peace of mind that they are cared for, loved, and never forgotten. Safety, trust, and comfort are always my top priorities when caring for your pets. “Stephanie is reliable, great communicator and just all around great girl! She took great care of my Teak while we were away. I’m sure he will miss her ! Thanks Stephanie.”

About: I’ve always connected well with animals, especially dogs. I’ve dog walked and watched others’ animals from a very young age. I was 22 when I decided to become a dog trainer. I was fortunate enough to attend one of the best programs in the country at Animal Behavior College, with a certificate in canine behavior therapy & a concentration in rehabilitating shelter dogs. I’m also qualified to train emotional support animals, which has been so rewarding. I chose this as a career path because of how much I genuinely love all living things. I can’t wait to meet your furry friends and give them the best care they could ask for! I own my own business, so I make my own schedule. I can tend to whatever schedule best suits the animals. I don’t have pets of my own, so that gives me even more flexibility. I always make sure I’m doing my best to care for animals, in any aspect of my life or career. I’m diligent in making sure their feeding, walking and play schedules are upheld promptly, and that their routines stay relatively in tact. This is one of the best things you can do to ease a pet’s anxiety about their owners being away. I work as a trainer, which means I’m happy to add on training sessions with your pet while they’re in my care, through my business if that’s something of interest. I’m very amenable to the specifications for each individual animal. Some dogs like to be given affection on the couch for a few minutes each day. Others might enjoy watching the birds in their yard for a while. I’m always happy to attune my care for each dog. When walking a dog, the quality of the walks are just as important as their frequency. Dogs require a certain level of mental stimulation each day, and ten minutes of sniffing is enough to satisfy most dog’s needs. They need the sniffing as much as the exercise. Your dog will be given ample time to sniff and “read the doggy newspaper”, as well as get some great exercise. I always make sure the animal has gotten everything that they need from the experience.

“Stephanie is an excellent choice for your pet's care. She shows genuine interest in our precious Katie, always shows on time, is very communicative, and friendly. Katie loves her walks with Stephanie :-) Highly recommend!”

He arrived on time for every walk, printed out the schedule for my mom who forgets things, and was just all-around wonderful. I highly recommend him and thank him for everything he has done.”

During the academic year, I assist my aunt, who is a teacher, by attending to her dog daily and ensuring its well-being while she is at work. “Sarah was amazing with our fur-baby. This was the first time Bleu was with a dog walker and she helped everyone feel at ease. She was attentive to his needs, and helped him feel very comfortable even when he was unsure about walking with a new person.”

About: I’ve grown up with dogs all of my life. I’ve taken care of dogs since I was 15. When I was in middle school I would go door to door to walk peoples dog's. I worked in a dog daycare in New York which I really in enjoyed. I prefer animals than people! I’m currently working part-time so I’ll have lots of time to keep your doggie or cat occupied. Saturdays and Sundays I’m off from my part time job so I’m home all day!! I have an extra room that will have lots of toys for them to play with and I’ll take them on walks around the neighborhood or at the park!
“Carol was a great dog sitter and I will definitely have her watch my dog again. She sent me updates about my dog as well as pictures. I felt very comfortable with living my dog with Carol. ”

About: Dogs have been part of my life for as long as I can remember. I’ve cared for everything from energetic puppies and rescue dogs to senior dogs needing specialized attention, including my 16-year-old diabetic beagle who required daily medication, monitoring, and lots of extra love and patience. In my home, dogs are family. They’re welcome on the furniture, get plenty of affection, and are treated like part of the pack. I currently have a friendly 6-year-old rescued American Foxhound who loves other dogs and would be excited to have some company. I work from home full-time, which means your pup will have lots of supervision, attention, potty breaks, playtime, and cuddles throughout the day. My community also has a dog park where dogs can safely run around and burn off energy. Whether your dog needs overnight care, walks, drop-in visits, or just a comfortable home away from home, I’ll make sure they feel safe, loved, and well cared for.
