About: I have had pets as far back as I can remember. They are family to me. I dog-sit and cat-sit for my daughter regularly. I've rescued many cats and a few dogs here and there. I'll move a turtle from the road. I let bugs out of the house. You get the idea. I work full time during the day, but I would love to help with pet care during evenings and weekends. I'm highly active, love walking dogs, and can easily build pet care into my routine outside of standard business hours. I prefer to come to your house for pet sitting and walking but am willing to pet sit at my place if necessary. Food and water of course but I will also talk, walk, and play with them as needed.

I am able to handle dog walking, cleaning a litter box, and maintaining a consistent meal time schedule. All while making sure to get a healthy amount of play time in. About: I grew up with my current dog who was a rescue. He was a scared but aggressive dog, who turned into my best friend. I am a very fit D1 track and field athlete at UNCW which makes me an amazing dog walker for all kinds. I have lots of patients and always have cared for all animals. I have done lots of dog sitting in my hometown and always been trusted by other dog owners. I am a college athlete with a busy schedule during the week, but I often have time in the evenings to care for all pets! This is one of the best things you can do to ease a pet’s anxiety about their owners being away. I work as a trainer, which means I’m happy to add on training sessions with your pet while they’re in my care, through my business if that’s something of interest. I’m very amenable to the specifications for each individual animal. Some dogs like to be given affection on the couch for a few minutes each day. Others might enjoy watching the birds in their yard for a while. I’m always happy to attune my care for each dog. When walking a dog, the quality of the walks are just as important as their frequency. Dogs require a certain level of mental stimulation each day, and ten minutes of sniffing is enough to satisfy most dog’s needs. They need the sniffing as much as the exercise. Your dog will be given ample time to sniff and “read the doggy newspaper”, as well as get some great exercise. I always make sure the animal has gotten everything that they need from the experience.
About: I’ve taken care of dogs, cats, lizards and birds since I was 10! Our family has three dogs, one that I’ve personally trained since she was a puppy. My roommate and I also consistently foster kittens until we can find them a forever home I work part time, but short shifts (usually only about 6 hours) and have classes for 2 hour increments every weekday morning. I am comfortable administering medications and have experience with injections, should your animal be diabetic etc. I am comfortable with some behavioral issues as well, to include leash reactivity, as long as the pet and myself can both be safe. I have a hybrid job so I am in the office some days, and fully home on others. We would discuss this prior to booking. I am off on the weekends and fully available for all of your pet needs. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. sitters on Rover set their own , which you can find on their profile under their contact information. Sitters may set a same-day, one-, three-, or seven-day cancellation policy. Cancelling within your sitter’s cancellation policy qualifies you for a full refund.
Same-day cancellations for recurring services, which include walks, drop-ins, and day care, follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for pet boarding and house sitting, if you cancel after 12 pm on the applicable cancellation deadline, you’ll receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for any remaining days.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means you will get a full refund and our support team will work with you to find a replacement sitter.
