Hi, I’m Christa! I’m 34 years old and have hands on experience caring for a wide variety of animals, from dogs and cats to rabbits, ducks, chickens, goats, and horses. I grew up surrounded by pets and have always felt at home with all types of animals. I pet-sat on Rover a few times in 2015, but got busy with work and school and unfortunately had to give it up. I now work from home on my own schedule, and recently purchased my own home with a large fenced in yard, so I'm giving it another shot! I have two lab mixes: Bear (14 years) and Goose (1 year). My dogs are well-socialized and typically get along great with other pups! I also have two house cats, Meera and Jojen, and have about 9 stray cats that I care for and am currently working on getting spayed/neutered. I also have a degree in biology, where I took several animal focused courses that deepened my understanding of animal behavior, health, and care. Christa was awesome with our cat Willow. Willow is skittish with new people and Christa took her time with Willow to gain her trust. Christa kept us updated on how Willow was doing and sent daily pictures. We will definitely be using Christa again for Willow. 🩷
I would highly recommend Christa to not just watch, but care for, your fur baby. Christa treats Kimber like family. She gets all the cuddles, extra special attention during storms (she’s not a fan) and from the photos Christa sends, all the basking in the sun she wants. She has Goose and Bear to play with or just lay hang out with. Christa is also super accommodating with our crazy work schedule as well.
Everything great as always! So wonderful to have such a trusted caregiver- makes leaving fur babies a little easier-thank you Christa!

Since I work remotely on my own schedule training AI models, I’m home most of the day and can easily give your pet the attention, companionship, and care they deserve.

In my home, I provide a safe, loving, and structured environment where pets can relax and feel at home. I stick to their usual routines for feeding, play, and rest, and offer plenty of attention, supervision, and affection. I do slow introductions with my own pets to ensure everyone feels comfortable and safe. If caring for pets in a client’s home, I respect their space and follow all instructions to keep things as familiar and stress-free as possible.

A typical day
I love keeping pets happy and engaged! Depending on their energy level and preferences, we might go for walks, play fetch, or run around in the yard. For pups who love water, I also have a splash pad and a pool for supervised swim time. For calmer pets, I’m always up for cuddle time, enrichment games, or just hanging out together. I tailor activities to each pet’s personality and needs to make sure they’re having fun and feeling loved.
