About: I've had dogs and cats for years. I have friends in the animal rescue business, so I've also fostered animals in the past as well. I'd love to meet your crew and take care of him/her/all of them while you are away. Thanks for thinking of me with such an important job! I currently work from home and am available for drop-in visits during the day, evenings or weekends. I'm usually able to work around my day job, and will try to accommodate your needs. My home is a pet-friendly environment. Currently, I have a dog (who loves everyone), and 3 cats. Dogs are welcome in my house, but cats here might be an issue. However, I'd love to watch those kittens at your place. Dogs are always a treat too!

About: I have been around dogs since I was born. My parents have always had at least one dog running around the house, and I now have one myself that lives with me! Layla has gotten me through some tough times and with that being said I know how important dogs (and cats) are in our lives. I would love to be a sitter, walker, and caregiver to anyone's furry necessity! I am a full time student! Which means that I usually have school all week! I am free after 5pm every day of the week and on Fridays, Saturdays, and Sundays all day! I have my 3 year old dog named Layla that is very friendly to all dogs! She is playful and loves to meet new friends! I walk her 3-4 times daily because I don't have a fenced yard. This will also be the case if I am boarding a dog! If your dog is crate trained I have a medium sized crate that they can sleep in overnight! I am open to walking as often as needed and will follow routines to a tee! I also live with my boyfriend as a heads up! He is lovely pet owner and loves my girl like she is his own!

About: I have had pets as far back as I can remember. They are family to me. I dog-sit and cat-sit for my daughter regularly. I've rescued many cats and a few dogs here and there. I'll move a turtle from the road. I let bugs out of the house. You get the idea. I work full time during the day, but I would love to help with pet care during evenings and weekends. I'm highly active, love walking dogs, and can easily build pet care into my routine outside of standard business hours. I prefer to come to your house for pet sitting and walking but am willing to pet sit at my place if necessary. Food and water of course but I will also talk, walk, and play with them as needed.

About: pet owner of senior cat and dog (unfortunately, the cat passed away in her sleep in December of last year). taking good care of pets of neighbour if they needed. I'm currently working part-time for UPS, so I am available to play with your pups after 2pm on Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, Friday, Saturday and Sunday. the neighbourhood is safe. and there is a secured backyard in the house for pups to play and excerciseand also I could crate them if needed.
About: Animals have always been present in my life as I have always had dogs (and more!) in my home. I spent the last ten years managing a farm rescue site that allowed me to care for equine, goats, pigs, cats, ducks, chickens and more. The position allowed me to learn quite a bit about caring for the animals welfare, as well as learning about the various animal behaviors and their unique ways they communicate and live together as one big farm family. With 15+ years of animal care of all sizes, including small caged pets, I am comfortable and experienced with special needs, medication dispensing, as well as senior care. Pet care has always been the focus of my daily routine. Having personal pets as well as formally managing an equine and farm animal rescue site for ten years, caring for animals and having them accompany me through my every day life is just natural for me. Establishing trust with animals and prioritizing their safety are the elements of care that I focus on as an animal caretaker. Fenced yards and doggie doors at my home allow my dogs freedom and safety. Respecting schedules and routines when visiting clients of pets at other homes is another focus as it reduces potential stress on others pets. Pet care, allowing owner peace of mind is a top priority.

Kim is always awesome with our cat Mateo! We were extra thankful this time when she accepted a last minute request the week before we were heading out of town. Laine has been so great! We needed a new dog sitter last minute for our 1 y/o golden retriever and she was able to accommodate our schedule immediately! Communication with her has been so quick and easy, she is very responsive, she is so sweet, and our dog loves her! We've even talked with her already about possibly boarding! You can tell she loves dogs which is something I want in whoever watches our fur baby. We will definitely keep using Laine as long as she is dog sitting!
Jasmine was great with our senior dog while we were out of town! She was punctual, patient, and sent regular updates and photos. Our dog is blind and very arthritic, and he needs a little extra TLC--I felt very confident that he was in good hands with Jasmine. I highly definitely recommend her!

Meet & Greets can take place in person or virtually. If you are booking with a sitter for the first time, we recommend in-person Meet & Greets to get a clearer sense of how your sitter interacts with your pet or the new environment.
During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy , which you can find on their profile under their contact information. Sitters may set a same-day, one-, three-, or seven-day cancellation policy. Cancelling within your sitter’s cancellation policy qualifies you for a full refund.
Same-day cancellations for recurring services, which include walks, drop-ins, and day care, follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for pet boarding and house sitting, if you cancel after 12 pm on the applicable cancellation deadline, you’ll receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for any remaining days.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means you will get a full refund and our support team will work with you to find a replacement sitter.
