“Kayley did an amazing job caring for my Dog. She was very responsive and kept me posted on how Bear was doing throughout his stay. Highly recommend her if you are looking for someone to take care of your dog!”

About: All my life, I have been around dogs. I currently have a sweet boy, Winston, who is a Pit Mix. I’ve had several different dogs over the years and have assisted family and friends with pet care. I also have previous work experience with a pet boarding and grooming facility in Baton Rouge. From having experience in a professional setting and having experience caring for pets at home, I find the at home care to be much more comfortable for the pet- which is why I decided to register here! I love making the pets and their owners feel as comfortable as possible. A personal touch- I like to take funny/cute pictures of what we do and send them to you once I’ve completed the service! I currently have two dogs that I watch for my mother. When I am in town, this looks like walks every afternoon and evening, frequent play time, and feedings. I love to make sure they are happy- whether that’s running around outside, long play time, some chill TLC, or even a few extra treats ;)

“Joslynne was wonderful! Great communication and she maintains a clean, happy environment for visiting pups. My girl had a great time staying with her. Will definitely book with her again. Can't recommend her highly enough.”

“We had an excellent experience boarding with Jaxen! She was extremely flexible with us on drop off due to unforeseen circumstances. She has a very nice kennel house that was clean and spacious for the dogs and a large yard for them to run around in throughout the day! She sent us pictures of Ranger playing and he had a big smile on his face, so I’m sure he enjoyed his stay. Thank you!!”

“Kristen is the best..... hands down! My fur baby gets anxiety when I have to leave her. Often times, after I pick her up from a sitter, I have to take her to the vet to get an antihistamine because she develops a nervous itch. This is not the case when she stays with Kristen. When I pick her up, she is just fine and at ease. Kristen sends pics and also frequent updates. She is a sweetheart who truly loves what she does!”

“Avery took care of Mortimer. A dog that is stand offish… he took to Avery immediately!! I couldn’t be any happier and thrilled that we and Mo have a Rover friend we trust so much!!!”

“Nancy & Stan not only took my booking very last minute, but were so kind and gracious throughout the entire experience. They truly exude such warmth and my pup loved them so quickly for being strangers and I think that says a lot! Great communication and feedback the entire trip and they gave our girl lots of love and walks. We couldn't have asked for a better sitter for her.”

“Our boy bones had a fantastic week at Gaby’s house! We can tell that he was very well taken care of, exercised thoroughly, and part of their family now. We will absolutely use Gaby again in the future!”

“Emily took such good care of our fur baby. We could see how happy he was in the daily photos she sent us. Great communication before and during our trip. When we had a last minute change in travel plans, Emily was very gracious and accommodating. We will definitely be asking her to care for Bear again.”
“If there was a way to leave 10 STARS I would. Kaylyn was great with my toy poodle. I got pictures and videos of my dog enjoying her days playing, relaxing on the couch, and having a lazy day sunning. Ginger was just as comfortable and happy with her as she is at home. I had no worries or concerns and was able to enjoy my vacation. I will be using Kaylyn again, it’s home away from home. Thank you!”

“Emily and Samuel were really great with my puppy! I was so nervous to leave her but she had a great time and I was very thankful to receive updates. I will definitely use them again.”

“Marluce took excellent care of our little Stella! She sent pictures each day and treated our up like a member of her family. We had good communication and pick up and drop off were a breeze.”

“Christine and her family took wonderful care of my girl while I was out of town! She sent frequent photos and updates and was flexible when I needed to drop her off early. My dog had a blast with them!”

About: I’ve taken care for animals since I was 9 years old from dogs to cats to even reptiles. My family, neighbors and past coworkers have relied on me for top notch pet care. I can care for your pet throughout the weekend for that extra time off. During the week day i am in school and can do only half the day from 3 pm or 4 pm to 11pm. I have a a big fenced in yard for dogs with a lot of energy to a personal cat palace for your cats run and jump around.
“Brittany was a wonderful sitter for our big playful boy while we were gone for a week. She updated and sent photos almost every day, she made him very comfortable and seemed to truly enjoy having him. We will definitely use her services again and highly recommend her. Thank you Brittany 🐾”

“Cat was a wonderful pet sitter for our little Koah. It was clear from all the photos she took that he was having a blast. She let him sleep in the bed with her and also somehow (amazingly) got him to eat all his meals. Truly a dog whisperer. You won’t be disappointed in booking with Cat! We will definitely book her again for our next trip.”

“Sonja and Yolanda are so friendly and accommodating! They were super easy to work with around my schedule- making drop off and pick up a breeze. I could tell Chloe pup really enjoyed her stay as well. I will definitely be using them again for future sitting needs!”

“Dogs seemed to have had a lot of fun, and Crystal was a great caretaker. I was concerned initially having only received one photo of each dog during a 4 night stay, but the dogs were well cared for, which is most important.”

James was a fantastic sitter for Mac. He kept me updated with great communication the whole time, and instead of just the basics, he took Mac on real adventures, which I really appreciated. Mac came home happy and worn out in the best way. Highly recommend James to anyone looking for a sitter who'll genuinely care for their dog.

I highly recommend Katie and Cedar! Jake just spent four nights with them and although he was glad to see me, he was very happy and comfortable with them! They have a fenced in backyard and Jake absolutely loved running and chasing cedar who was a lot of fun to be with and likes to play. Katie is a sweetheart and I have a lot of confidence in her abilitie to keep Jake safe, AND that he would enjoy being with them. Jake is excited to have a new place to go and stay. Thank you!

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your pet, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Every sitter on Rover is required to pass a background check before listing their services. This process confirms their identity and indicates they are not on the Department of Justice’s National Sex Offender Public Website or have any disqualifying offenses.
Beyond ID checks, you can review each sitter's star rating, read verified reviews from other pet parents, and see how many repeat clients they have. Every booking is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care. For more details, visit Rover's Trust & Safety page .
While each sitter sets their own vaccine requirements, staying up-to-date on your dog’s vaccines is the best way to be "boarding ready". Vaccinations help create a safe environment for all pets under a sitter’s care.
Many sitters in TN ask that dogs be up to date on core vaccines like the Canine Parvovirus, Canine Distemper, Canine Adenovirus, Bordetella, and Rabies. Cats may be required to have Feline Viral Rhinotracheitis and Rabies up to date.
By discussing your pet's health history early, you’re adding a layer of confidence for you and your sitter before the booking begins.
Emergency support is available by phone or email in English 24/7. When an incident occurs, we recommend that sitters contact our Trust & Safety team immediately so that they can connect your sitter with a board-certified veterinarian or offer other resources to help.
If a sitter needs to cancel at the last minute, Rover’s reservation protection means our team will work with you to find a suitable replacement as quickly as possible.
