“Loved the personal updates and photos throughout my dog’s stay. She looked so happy in the photos and was glad she had some new friends to play with. Will definitely be my go-to residence! ❤️”

“Stephanie is the best sitter ever, I’m so thankful for her care and dedication with my very energetic puppy. Lila always enjoy to stay over there and play with her dogs and cats, it’s literally a vacation for her. Thank you so much Stephanie.”

“Taylor [& her husband] were amazing! They took such great care of my dog / 2-year-old puppy! And their dog Maggie was lovely too. I know Archie had a fabulous time as after I picked him up in the morning - he literally napped all day! I will definitely have Archie stay with them again!”

“Joslynne was wonderful! Great communication and she maintains a clean, happy environment for visiting pups. My girl had a great time staying with her. Will definitely book with her again. Can't recommend her highly enough.”

“Such an amazing family! It was so nice to meet her and feel the love of her family. Dropping my dog off there I knew he would be cared for with lots of attention. I appreciated how detailed and honest Brooke’s updates were. It is nice to know exactly what is going on along with pictures and updates on the goofy things my dog does. Of course I missed him, but I was not worried. I knew he was in good hands. I will absolutely trust Brooke and her family again. Thank you!”

About: All my life, I have been around dogs. I currently have a sweet boy, Winston, who is a Pit Mix. I’ve had several different dogs over the years and have assisted family and friends with pet care. I also have previous work experience with a pet boarding and grooming facility in Baton Rouge. From having experience in a professional setting and having experience caring for pets at home, I find the at home care to be much more comfortable for the pet- which is why I decided to register here! I love making the pets and their owners feel as comfortable as possible. A personal touch- I like to take funny/cute pictures of what we do and send them to you once I’ve completed the service! I currently have two dogs that I watch for my mother. When I am in town, this looks like walks every afternoon and evening, frequent play time, and feedings. I love to make sure they are happy- whether that’s running around outside, long play time, some chill TLC, or even a few extra treats ;)
“Karie was super responsive and flexible when we boarded our two pups with her for the night. She has a beautiful fenced in backyard that was perfect for our active 1.5 and 2 (nearly 3) year old Wheatens. Was also very thoughtful to ask if we wanted to do a pre-visit before leaving them overnight. Will definitely board with her again when we are in town!”

“Melissa and her family were so good to my baby dog! Daisy is deaf and Melissa and her family took her right in and adjusted to her needs. Melissa sent me multiple pictures and updates every day, so I always knew what Daisy was doing I’m new to town and so happy to find someone I can trust to take great care of my girl!”

“I would recommend Carrie. She was great at communicating and sharing updates about our dog,Winnie’s, visit. Carie made Winnie feel right at home from the first moment of meeting her. Winnie had a great week with Carrie!”

About: I’ve taken care for animals since I was 9 years old from dogs to cats to even reptiles. My family, neighbors and past coworkers have relied on me for top notch pet care. I can care for your pet throughout the weekend for that extra time off. During the week day i am in school and can do only half the day from 3 pm or 4 pm to 11pm. I have a a big fenced in yard for dogs with a lot of energy to a personal cat palace for your cats run and jump around.
“Justin was an amazing VERY last minute sitter. He even offered to meet me, was super nice. I could tell Ruby was in good hands. Perfect communication and I could tell from the pics Ruby was having a BLAST! Will def use him again next time I am in that area!!”

“Gaby was absolutely amazing! Our pups had a wonderful time with her, and she took beyond great care of them. She kept us updated about them every single day. Will definitely be booking with her again!”

“I hesitate to leave a review, honestly, because I don’t want more people taking up all of Amber’s availability! She really helped me out of a jam—two jams, actually—when she accepted my last-minute booking (like, basically 24 hours notice) when my other sitter canceled for an emergency, AND she VERY generously agreed to watch my dog for an extra night when I was stuck overnight at a the airport. Amber shared daily photos and videos and other updates. She’s both proactive and quickly responsive. Will happily trust her to watch my pup anytime. But for my sake, please just…find someone else 🙏🏻”

“Maddison was great! We really appreciated getting pictures of Obi throughout our time away. Thankful to have a place that Obi can run around and play with other dogs instead of being cooped up at home when we're away. Thank you Maddison!”

“Di'Ara took very amazing care of my baby boy Baxter. He was snuggling with her by day 1! She made sure to send lots of content and I could tell her had a blast! Will be booking with her again in the future!”

“Will & Jillian were great with Rosie and were great about sending pictures and communicating with us while we were away! We will definitely use them again in the future!”

“I boarded Zade with David for 3 days while away on a work trip. I was nervous as it was my very first boarding and got Zade from Mac a few months ago. David is fantastic! I got updates every day, he continued with Zade's training, and let him spend a lot of time outside in his fenced yard. I got to pick up a loving calm happy dog, which is priceless for me. I would use David for boarding again anytime.”

“Jamie and her girls were the absolute best!!! Our dog was completely spoiled!!!! She was super communicative, flexible with our schedule, and you can tell just genuinely cares for your pets. I highly highly recommend her, she is definitely the only place we will be sending our dogs from now on.”

“Kailin is a kind, diligent caretaker. Our English Bulldog is not the easiest of pups but she have the love and patience it takes to care for her. We recently went out of the country for 10 days and came back to a happy, healthy girl. Thank you Kailin!”

Another amazing visit at Megan and Chris’ place! Megan sent lots of photos and updates letting me know Marley is well cared for! They always treat Mar like part of the family and I’m so thankful he gets cozy on the couch with Poppy! Can’t thank them enough for taking such care of my little guy.

Maria deserves 10 Stars! She was responsive, reliable and caring. If you want someone who truly cares for your pet scroll no further. She was wonderful and I felt that my boy was not just watched while we were away, but he was loved! Maria kept in touch with updates and photos. What a great experience for me and my dog!

Katie rocks! She took the best care of our two fur babies, one senior and one rambunctious two year old. She has a great set up with a big fenced in yard, and a friendly pup of her own who played so well with both of our dogs who have opposite play styles. We highly recommend her, and would love to book with her again!

Excellent communication, comfortable, clean, and safe space! Destiny is exactly who we were looking for for our high-energy terrier. She was already familiar with the training tools and techniques we got from his trainers, and understood his breed characteristics & needs. She introduced him to her own pets intentionally, and by the time we picked him up, he was clearly comfortable and happy with her. So pleased to have someone knowledgeable who I can trust with our VERY terrier terrier.

Tatiana made this trip so easy for us, I felt so at ease leaving our dog with her. She was very thorough and made sure dogs were comfortable with each other. And Livvy did great and had a blast with her pup friends! Would totally ask Tatiana again if we come back to Chatt!

Patricia and Wilson were perfect for Rampage. Having an older dog I was happy to find a sitter with an older dog. Rampage enjoyed the stay and the update and pictures from Patricia gave us great peace as we traveled. We highly recommend Patricia to care for your fur baby.

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your pet, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Every sitter on Rover is required to pass a background check before listing their services. This process confirms their identity and indicates they are not on the Department of Justice’s National Sex Offender Public Website or have any disqualifying offenses.
Beyond ID checks, you can review each sitter's star rating, read verified reviews from other pet parents, and see how many repeat clients they have. Every booking is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care. For more details, visit Rover's Trust & Safety page .
While each sitter sets their own vaccine requirements, staying up-to-date on your dog’s vaccines is the best way to be "boarding ready". Vaccinations help create a safe environment for all pets under a sitter’s care.
Many sitters in TN ask that dogs be up to date on core vaccines like the Canine Parvovirus, Canine Distemper, Canine Adenovirus, Bordetella, and Rabies. Cats may be required to have Feline Viral Rhinotracheitis and Rabies up to date.
By discussing your pet's health history early, you’re adding a layer of confidence for you and your sitter before the booking begins.
Emergency support is available by phone or email in English 24/7. When an incident occurs, we recommend that sitters contact our Trust & Safety team immediately so that they can connect your sitter with a board-certified veterinarian or offer other resources to help.
If a sitter needs to cancel at the last minute, Rover’s reservation protection means our team will work with you to find a suitable replacement as quickly as possible.
