Did a great job with my doggies! She handled all the medications and cleaned up after my elderly dog who pees indoors. She also took a personal investment in befriending my chow chow who can be very defensive. She played with her and eventually got her on a lead!

About: I have over a decade of dedicated experience in animal care, beginning with a lifetime of raising family cats and dogs. For 12 years, I was the proud owner of a British Bombay. My formal experience includes a 10-year tenure as a volunteer at the Southern Pines Animal Shelter in Hattiesburg, MS, where I assisted with kennel maintenance, exercise programs, and medical care, including administering vaccinations,. Currently, I am expanding my professional expertise by working towards AKC certifications to ensure the highest standard of care for every pet I work with. I am currently working a full-time job, but I have some flexibility. My availability for house sits is wide open. My availability for drop-ins & walks: - All day Tuesday, Thursday, & Sunday - Monday & Wednesday 6 am - 10 am - Friday & Saturday after 6 pm I have a large fenced in back yard and a friendly pitbull to keep your dog company. I can easily separate the animals if necessary and or crate your dog.

About: I've cared for dogs and cats since I was little for my family and friends. I'm here to help and take care of animals in my area :) I'm a full-time job on the weekdays but live right in the heart of downtown so I’m flexible to always stop by for a quick walk or check-in. My friends typically ask me to check in on their pups on the weekends if they're also away. My dog is almost 15 and I've had her since 5th grade. She's trained to where she doesn't need to be on a leash but I'll walk beside her when we're outdoors. Her name is Snickers and she sleeps in her crate but I keep the door to it open in case she wants to roam around. I'm relaxed but extremely careful when it comes to pet safety. I like to be cautious but laid back!

Meagan has been in my pup's life as long as I have (since he was 3 months old)! She treats him as one of her own, and he definitely sees her as Aunt Meagan, lol. Without her, being a single Dog Dad, who works full-time, would've been impossible. Beyond blessed to have her.

About: I grew up with animals always in my life. I have taken care of dogs, cats, and rabbits. My family pets have ranged from puppies and kittens to senior dogs and cats, so I believe I am capable of caring for any aged animal. I have also fostered kittens before who needed to be given medicine twice a day. I have dog sat for a few families in Nashville in the last few months. I have a cat of my own now that I adopted from one of my foster experiences. I am currently attending nursing school at UTC full time. I have enough time everyday to ensure your furry friend had daily activity and attention from me. Mondays I have all day clinical which I have indicated on my availability. I am a loving caregiver and like spending quality time with pets from playing, walking, and snuggling. I am very detailed oriented so will pay close attention to any instructions I am given.

I asked Sara to help me socialize my adopted, shelter dog. So, instead of a typical drop in, I was present for the visit. Sara was very patient and friendly with my dog and she knew exactly how to interact with her (get down low, avoid eye contact, continously give her treats, and let my dog approach her while telling her what a good girl she is). I was so relieved that I didnt have to explain all of that to her. My dog is so loving and affectionate but is super slow to trust people, but she was taking treats out of Sara's hand immediately. I have asked her to come back, so my dog can get to know the same person before introducing her to more people. I am confident that her and my dog will become great friends.

Giovani is a ROCK STAR...And I don't mean one of those old and fading rockstars that you kinda remember their one hit...I mean bonafide 20 Stadium Selling-out America/European/Asia Touring ROCKSTAR!!! Giovanni was able to help us out over a stretch with very short notice flawlessly. Our dog is a challenge to say the least but Giovani was able to get Woody to warm up to him and actually act like a pretty likable pettable dog! He kept us up to date and sent daily reports and pics that reassured us that Woody was in Great Hands and doing well. Thanks G...Good to meet you and get to know you. - Ken Christy & Woody

Whether you’re at the office for the day or traveling for a few nights, a pet sitter can offer potty breaks during a Red Bank stroll, cleaning the litter box, or making sure your pet has on-time food or water refills. For daytime services like walking and drop-ins, you can also request sitters to send a report card with every visit.

Tip: You can discuss your specific arrangements with a pet sitter on Rover to what fits you, your pet, and your sitter’s needs. To find what their special skills are, look at the "Skills" and "Pet care experience" sections on their profile.

Key handling is entirely up to you and your sitter to agree on during the Meet & Greet or in the Rover app. Most pet parents in Red Bank choose to hand over a spare key or digital fob in person, while others arrange a lockbox or unique access code. Don't forget to discuss key returns as well!

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.

While Rover doesn’t offer traditional subscription services, some sitters offer recurring bookings for services like home visits and dog walking. Recurring services come with their own perks, such as flexibility to modify services (up to five weeks in advance), automatic billing, Rover Card updates, and same-day cancellations.

To find sitters in Red Bank with recurring or weekly availability, select "Repeat Weekly" and which days you’d like them to care for your pet.

You can also find pet sitters on Rover who accept only one pet at a time, which is ideal for anxious puppies, kittens, or senior pets who move at a gentler pace. Some sitters will also list availability for 24/7 care, also known as constant care, in their profiles.

Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.

Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.

Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.

If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement sitter.
