Cortney was perfect in her care for my fur baby. Being able to have two visits for my little Katya set my mind at ease as it was a longer trip than I would have normally taken. Katya got quality play time in, pets and snuggled, and fed the appropriate amount of food each day. Water and litter box were perfectly maintained. I am so happy I found Cortney and I will absolutely retain her pet sitting services in the future! Thank you, Cortney!

I'm very particular with who I leave my cats in the care of. Kelly was perfect. I will be using her service again going forward. I rarely take vacations, but knowing I have Kelly now opens the world up for travel. Daily updates, multiple daily check-ins, I swear my litter boxes were even cleaner than when I left! You rock, Kelly!

About: I’ve worked with dogs in a professional capacity for over a decade, including managing structured environments where consistency and temperament mattered. That experience shapes how I approach in-home care today: calm, observant, and steady. I adapt well to each home’s environment. Every household has its own rhythm, and I focus on maintaining that rhythm rather than disrupting it. I respect property, keep to designated shared spaces, and treat each home responsibly while I’m there. With animals, I prioritize patience and regulation. Dogs often mirror calm, consistent energy, and I remain relaxed and steady in my interactions. Whether maintaining feeding schedules, reinforcing expectations, or adjusting to unexpected wake-ups, I approach care with composure. I value clear expectations so I can maintain healthy boundaries and provide dependable, consistent care throughout your time away. Pet care fits naturally into my week. I maintain a consistent daily routine with flexible hours, and afternoons and evenings are open most days. Feeding, walks, and check-ins happen at reliable times so pets stay comfortable and owners know what to expect. I approach every home and animal with calm professionalism and respect. I’m attentive to boundaries, cleanliness, and consistency — whether I’m providing a single visit or longer in-home care. I don’t currently have pets of my own, which allows me to focus fully on the animals in my care. My priority is reliability: safe handling, clear communication, and a steady, grounded presence.

I really enjoyed working with JaNiya this past week as she performed drop in visits for our cat, Mae-C. Mae-C has a new friend now and the two of them played together and enjoyed an hour long visit each day interacting with treats, games, grooming and music. JaNiya also helped with a few light chores around the house like checking the mail and watering the plants. She was also very accommodating and our cat just loves her. We have two more trips before the end of the year and we will definitely check her availability. JaNiya, we really appreciate you. Thanks so much.

About: Hi there! I'm a local Respiratory Therapist, and when I'm not caring for human patients, I bring that same high standard of safety, vigilance, and dedication to caring for your pets. Working a structured hospital schedule gives me dedicated days off during the week, making me the perfect mid-day ally for your dog walks and cat drop-in visits. I own a dog and cat of my own and have been trusted for a long time to watch my friend’s pets. If you are looking for a reliable, professional sitter who treats your home with respect and provides clinical-level attentiveness to your fur family, I’d love to connect. You can always expect detailed, timely updates and peace of mind while you're away! I work a full time job at a hospital so I will open my availability around the days I work. I will scheduled my availability around my off days! Because of my medical background, I don't just "watch" pets—I actively monitor their well-being. I am deeply detail-oriented, highly observant of changes in behavior or energy levels, and completely unphased by strict routines, complex instructions, or oral medication schedules. I will make sure to respect your space and wishes for the care of your pets.

About: Hi! I’m a devoted dog mom to four amazing dogs—one who has been with me for 14 years and three proud foster “wins.” Caring for them has given me hands-on experience with puppies, senior dogs, medication management, fearful or anxious pups, high-energy players, and sweet couch-loving companions. I understand that every dog is unique, and I take the time to meet them where they are—whether that means a calm, reassuring walk, energetic playtime, or extra patience and gentle care. Your pet’s safety, comfort, and happiness are always my top priorities, and I treat every dog as if they were my own. I’m happy to follow detailed care instructions and provide regular updates and photos for peace of mind. I am shifting to part-time work and will be flexible to accommodate your pet’s needs. I’m an early riser, ideal for morning walks, feedings, and medications. I offer walks, drop-ins, and longer visits, and I’m experienced with senior dogs, anxious pups, and energetic walkers. I provide care exclusively in my clients’ homes, keeping pets comfortable in their familiar environment. I follow each pet’s routine closely, including walks, feedings, medications, playtime, and rest. I take a calm, patient approach and adjust my care for older pets, dogs who need extra reassurance, and dogs who enjoy longer or more active walks. I also provide regular updates and photos so you can feel confident your pet is safe and well cared for.

About: Hi! My name is Catherine, but I go by Victoria. Most people call me Victoria. I have over 5 years of experience caring for dogs and helping family and friends with their pets. I’m very patient, gentle, and attentive to each pet’s needs. I’m comfortable with walking, feeding, playing, and making sure pets feel safe and loved while their owners are away. I treat every pet like my own and always make sure they’re happy and comfortable. Although I’m located outside the city, I regularly travel into Chattanooga for pet sitting and walks. I currently work a part-time job and usually have about three days off each week. I also do DoorDash, which allows me to choose my own schedule. This gives me flexibility and plenty of time to care for pets. I love animals and would be happy to help take care of yours. I always make sure pets are safe, comfortable, and well cared for in their own home. I follow all instructions given by the owner, including feeding, walking, medications, and routines. I treat every home with respect and always provide updates and photos for peace of mind.

About: I have walking dogs since I was 8 years old. I have a hyperactive dog and I know how to care for dogs with loads of energy! I am always happy to go on a walk or play around. I am home for the summer from school and would like to help out my neighbors! I am fairly available most of the week. I can do early mornings and afternoons. I have a large backyard with a fence. About: I’ve had dogs my entire life and caring for animals has always been a big part of who I am. On my 18th birthday, I got an English Bulldog, which taught me the importance of understanding breed-specific needs, health concerns, and proper care. Since then, I’ve spent countless hours researching dog behavior, nutrition, exercise requirements, and overall wellness. I have experience dog sitting and walking dogs of different sizes and personalities. Whether it’s an energetic dog that needs plenty of exercise or a senior dog that requires extra patience and attention, I take the time to make sure each pet feels safe, comfortable, and loved. I genuinely love animals and treat every pet as if they were my own. I understand how important it is to trust someone with a member of your family, and I take that responsibility seriously. My goal is to provide dependable, compassionate care and give pet owners peace of mind while they’re away. My schedule is very flexible this summer while I’m waiting for school to start back, which allows me to dedicate plenty of time and attention to pet care. I’m available throughout the week for walks, drop-in visits, feeding, playtime, and companionship. I enjoy being active and spending time with animals, so caring for pets fits naturally into my daily routine. I tailor my care to each pet’s individual needs and follow the owner’s instructions closely. For boarding, I provide a safe, comfortable environment with plenty of attention, exercise, playtime, fresh water, and regular feeding schedules. While I do not have a fenced yard, I live directly across from a park and make sure dogs get plenty of safe outdoor time and activity. Pets are welcome on the furniture and are treated like part of the family. For house sitting, I maintain the pet’s normal routine to help them feel comfortable while also respecting and caring for the owner’s home. During walks, I focus on safety, exercise, and making sure each dog gets the attention and activity they need. No matter the service, I treat every pet as if they were my own and make their well-being my top priority.

Amber came through big time!! Our original sitter had to cancel the day before our weekend trip, but luckily I found Amber! Just 2 hours later, she was able to come meet the pets and go over things at the house. During our trip she sent some great pictures, kept us updated on how everyone was doing and when medicine was given, and communicated well when she was starting and ending her visits. She made the whole experience so much less stressful, and it was clear our pets were well cared for and comfortable with her. We’re super grateful for her flexibility and help on such short notice, and we’d absolutely book with her again!

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.

While Rover doesn’t offer traditional subscription services, some sitters offer recurring bookings for services like home visits and dog walking. Recurring services come with their own perks, such as flexibility to modify services (up to five weeks in advance), automatic billing, Rover Card updates, and same-day cancellations.

Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.
