“Skylar was so great with my three cats over the week that I was gone! My boys can be a bit rowdy and have some special needs, but she handled them perfectly and even sent me cute photos of them throughout the period. I will definitely choose Skylar again the next time I'm out of town :)”

“Justin exhibits a real joy in his work & play with my 3 large and rambunctious Newfoundland & Newfiedoodles. They get so excited if I just tell them Justin is coming to see them!”

“Lindsay was amazing! She went above and beyond for our kitty (who gets very lonely when we are gone), sometimes hanging out with him for longer than the booked 30 minute visits. He immediately connected with her and was snuggling on the couch with her within days (he doesn’t do that for everyone). Lindsay was also super observant and attentive. I would definitely book her to watch our little guy again!”

About: I've had pets growing up and know how to care for them. Love being around them and have a calming spirit. I have a great dane and it takes a lot to care for him. I also work at the Mountain Hospital for Animals. My schedule at work changes from day to day. But I will have time to care for your pet at different hours of the day. I will provide safety and responsibility while caring for your dog, whether it be in a home setting or out on walks around the neighborhood.
“Brinley did an absolutely terrific job taking care of our 2 dogs while we were away. We elected for at home visits, and we can tell or dogs were well cared for and looked after in our absence. We would highly recommend her for your pets!”

“Sydney did awesome. She even helped with some extra things last minute that we really appreciated! We will definitely be booking her when we go out of town again to watch our three kitties!”

About: I have owned and taken care of dogs for roughly 6 years now! Have cared for 8 newborn puppies and momma twice, watched big and small dogs, and have had my own puppy since she was 8 weeks old! I can walk, take on drives, do overnights, etc., for your doggies and care for them like my own!! I am currently working part time and looking for extra hours/money for the summer! I am available on weekends, and can drop in most weekdays roughly 3 times a day for a couple of hours! Whatever you prefer I can do my best to accommodate for!! I have a fenced in backyard, and a friendly and playful golden-doodle at home! I can crate your dog at your house, take certain precautions for cats and dogs, and allow them to warm up to me!
“Savannah is very professional. I trust her with my kitties. She's very responsive to any questions and sharing details of how the visits go, including dealing with special food or meds.”

About: With 9 years of hands on experience caring for pets, I bring a flexible and intuitive approach to pet care that meets each pup where they are. Whether your dog needs a calm gentle companion, or a high-energy play, I adapt to their personality and needs. I have a little bit of experience with obedience training with puppies and can also care for senior dogs. I am currently only offering boarding, walks and drop-in visits but I am committed to making your dog feel safe, loved and right at home - even when you’re away! I am a recent graduate of UTC and just started working for Unum. I work from home most days but have to go into the office on Wednesdays and Thursdays! I’m available anytime that I’m not in the office as my at-home work hours are flexible. When caring for pets in your home, I first like to read the pets profile so I can see if there are any special instructions/needs that I need to know about. I offer a variety of services so how I care for your pet is based on what I am booked for. For walks, I like to find a safe/familiar place to walk them, like your neighborhood. I’ll usually walk them for the full amount of time and make sure they have water when we are finished. When dog sitting, I try to make sure I follow all instructions left by you, the owner. I usually make sure your pet has food, water, walks, and lots of cuddles/play time!
“Kiara was available for us when our pet sitter quit last minute. We were across the country, and Kiara help ease the stress. We were having to have a friend help but thankfully Kiara was available to take over last minute the next morning. She made sure our dogs were taken care of sent adorable photos. She was thoughtful and always considered their well being. We would definitely use Kiara again!”

About: I have been dog walking and pet sitting for over 10 years and truly love caring for animals of all kinds. Over the years I have cared for small and large dogs, cats, and even fish, and I’m comfortable adapting to each pet’s personality, medication needs, and routines. I’ve also been a dog owner myself for the past 15 years. My family currently has two Queensland Heelers who are 10 and 15 years old, so I have plenty of experience with both high-energy working breeds and senior dogs. Because of that, I understand how important exercise, consistency, and patience are for keeping dogs happy and healthy. In addition to dogs and cats, I’ve cared for many other animals including chickens, guinea pigs, hamsters, fish, and lizards. I’m currently fostering a 3-year-old bunny, which has been a wonderful experience. Animals are a big part of my life, and in my free time I volunteer with animal rescues as well. I treat every pet I care for like they’re my own and always focus on making them feel safe, comfortable, and loved while their owners are away. Whether your pet needs a walk, playtime, or just some company, I’d love to help! I work part-time as a teacher, which gives me a flexible schedule and plenty of time to care for pets throughout the week. I’m available for walks and check-ins before work, after work, and I also have multiple days off each week where I can dedicate extra time to pet care. Because of this, I’m able to provide consistent attention, exercise, and companionship. I live a very active lifestyle and make it a habit to walk or hike at least five times a week, so regular walks and outdoor time are already part of my routine. This makes it easy for me to include dogs who enjoy exercise, fresh air, and exploring. For boarding, I’m available on both weekdays and weekends and can make sure pets receive plenty of attention, activity, and care while they stay with me. I try to make every pet feel safe, comfortable, and part of the routine whether they are staying in my home or I am caring for them in their own home. In my home, I have a spare room specifically set up for animals so they have a quiet and comfortable space if they need it. Pets are welcome on the furniture and I aim to create a relaxed, home-like environment where they can settle in easily. I have a large yard for supervised outdoor time, and while it is not fenced, I always make sure pets are closely supervised outside. My neighborhood also has a fenced dog park, and I live next to several walking and hiking trails, which is great for dogs that enjoy getting out for exercise and exploring. When caring for pets in a client’s home, I’m very respectful of their space and always try to keep pets on their normal routine as much as possible. I’m comfortable feeding, walking, playing with pets, cleaning litter boxes, and administering medication if needed. I can also crate dogs if that is part of their normal routine. My goal is always to make pets feel comfortable and cared for while giving owners peace of mind that their animals are in good hands.

About: Dogs are life! Growing up, I have always had at least one dog that was part of the family. My love for these animals extended into college, where I began rescuing and fostering dogs with Circle of Friends Animal Society. I've been with them since 2010, and have personally rescued, trained, and adopted out 150+ dogs. Apart from my volunteer work with COFAS, I also worked for "Fetch the Leash" in Athens, GA. My time as an animal caretaker has allowed me to gain experience working with a variety of breeds and temperaments. The only thing greater than my knowledge of "mans best friend" is my PASSION for these animals. I currently have two dogs that I love dearly--I promise to love your furkids the same!
About: I was a vet tech for 6 years. I know where dogs and cats like to be scratched and I am happy to provide scratching! I recently moved here and am semi retired. I love animals but my family member's are allergic to them. Coming to your home your pets will get my full attention and be happy as my fur fix! In coming to your home I will take care of all your pets needs whether picking up poop or scooping a box, feeding, walking, playing, and brushing. Happily wearing each other out with love and attention!

We have used Justina couple of times now for drop-in visits for our miniature bull terrier (Otis) while traveling. Justin does a phenomenal job! His visits are timely, and he gets along really well with Otis. Otis did have some stomach issues on our latest trip which were no fault of Justin's. He went above and beyond to make sure Otis was well cared for while we were not there. He even spent extra time at our home making sure that Otis was receiving the proper food and liquids to make a full and speedy recovery. In addition, Justin's communications are always professional. I will absolutely use Justin again and would fully recommend him to others.

Lisa did an amazing job caring for our pets and my daughter’s pets, as well. We were visiting for my daughter’s wedding and Lisa managed care throughout the day letting my dogs out and feeding them as well as transporting two dogs to and from the wedding venue for pictures. Lisa visited beforehand to be clear on our needs for the day. She was very responsible, on time for everything, and left the house spotless. She also communicated well about situations like one of our dogs not wanting to eat his food. Overall, Lisa made us very comfortable with the dogs in her care and because of this we were able to relax and enjoy our daughter’s wedding. I would highly recommend her.

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
While Rover doesn’t offer traditional subscription services, some sitters offer recurring bookings for services like home visits and dog walking. Recurring services come with their own perks, such as flexibility to modify services (up to five weeks in advance), automatic billing, Rover Card updates, and same-day cancellations.
To find sitters in Lookout Mountain with recurring or weekly availability, select "Repeat Weekly" and which days you’d like them to care for your pet.
