“It can be hard leaving your pets in someone else's hands, but with Alora, we felt total peace of mind. She's not just a sitter—she's a caregiver, an animal lover, and someone who truly treats your pets like her own. We’re so grateful for her time with us and would absolutely welcome her back in a heartbeat.”
About: Hi! I’m Madison :) With two years of experience as a kennel technician and my current role as a receptionist at a veterinarian office, I have developed a strong foundation in animal care and customer service. My hands-on experience includes feeding, exercising, and monitoring pet health, while my receptionist position has honed my communication skills and ability to address pet owners' concerns. I can’t wait to meet you and you’re fur babies! I currently work full time at an animal hospital, so I am available for drop ins before and after my shifts, or anytime throughout the day on my off days. Spending time with our pets outside and in nature really gives them the opportunity to burn energy and explore the world around them. That’s why I believe that the longer the walk, the happier and healthier your dog is!
“Angela rocks! It was obvious that our pets loved her. She went above and beyond for them. We really appreciate her help and will be reaching out to her again in the future!”
“We love Nicole! She takes the best care of our shy kitties and our friendly outdoor kitties that she feeds when she is over as well. We know we can always rely on Nicole. I will recommend her to any one looking for a wonderful pet sitter.”

“Sydney was awesome with our crazy Doberman. She took him on walks everyday and always provided pictures and updates. She communicates well and is dependable. Would highly recommend!”

About: We all know that dogs are happier, healthier, and more behaved when they get plenty of exercise!! (As are humans...) If you wish you could take your dog(s) for longer walks or jogs, give me a call! I am new to Rover but I have cared for dogs and loved dogs my entire life. I am a huge outdoors person, and having a dog or two with me just makes the stroll all the more enjoyable! I don't have pets of my own right now, so I am hoping you will let me come hang out with yours. =) I am currently working full time right now, but my evenings are free and I would love to work towards making pet care my full time gig. When I visit your pet, their needs and care will be my top priority. I will love to take them on long walks so that they can get the exercise they deserve.
About: I've been caring for my own dog since i was 8 years old, she is my best friend and without her I wouldn't be the girl I am today. Her love gave me a passion for dogs and all I do is care and love the animals I meet. That's what I believe a dog needs. Love, care, food, walks, and potty breaks! I'm an on point person and I will always get things done. If anything is needed to be done around the house I can keep it clean and organised. Whatever you and the pet need, I can provide. I am very reliable, always on time, and very proficient in what I do. Just give me directions and you won't be let down. I am currently a stay at home mom but on days where I can get out and go for a walk I am more than happy to take a fur baby with me to get out of the house and enjoy the day. In a client's home I am very respectful of their home and I will follow every instruction left for me. I am cautious and like to be well informed before entering a home. Just to ensure that I am not disrupting a dog or cat that might startle easily. I try to be as careful and respectful as possible.
About: I've had formal training taking care of large and small dogs in both a volunteer experience at shelters and a professional setting at a doggy daycare/boarding facility. I've walked dogs of all sizes, administered medication, bathed and played with pups! I also own a cat at home and can provide care and attention to all the fur-babies! Pet care is my passion! I can fit you and your pet's needs into my week as need be! I am open to any hours of the day. I provide constant supervision during my stays and/or drop-ins. I provide stimulating playtime for all pets while ensuring their fun and safety within the home.
About: I have had pets my entire life (cats, dogs, ducks). I’ve taken care of many friends and family’s pets, from daily walks to over night stays. I have also had an anxious and reactive dog for the past 5.5 years, so I know how to adjust to an animals needs and make them happy and comfortable. I have open availability during mornings and afternoons for long walks, short/ long runs, hiking adventures, or sessions of fetch with your furry friends. Over night stays available with notice. I have an anxious dog in my home so I will only be able to do drop ins, walking, or overnight sitting at the clients home. I love to go on long walks with my dog, hikes, or runs (for the highly active pups).

About: I have provided animal care services for my neighbors since I was 11. I dog/cat sit and dog walk. I have worked in animal care professionally as well as freelance! I am currently a college student on break so I have a very flexible schedule! Once I began classes again, I will work around my class schedule. I grew up with at least two dogs at all times! I love spending time with them inside or outside, playing with them or simply sitting and reading to them.
About: What sets me apart is my lifelong experience caring for animals. I have grown up with 2–3 dogs at a time throughout my life, as well as cats, so I am very comfortable with the daily responsibilities that come with pet care, including feeding, walking, playtime, and providing companionship. In addition to caring for my own pets, I have pet-sat for my neighbors' animals on numerous occasions, giving me experience with different personalities and routines. While I am not a professional trainer, I have taught my own dogs basic commands and good habits. I understand the importance of being patient, attentive, and dependable, and I treat every pet as if they were my own. Pet care fits easily into my daily routine because I am currently home for the summer and have open availability. I am about to be a senior at Michigan State University, but while I am home, I have a flexible schedule that allows me to dedicate plenty of time and attention to the pets I care for. Whether it's morning walks, feeding schedules, playtime, or check-ins throughout the day, I am able to be reliable and accommodate a variety of pet care needs. I enjoy spending time with animals, so caring for them is something I genuinely look forward to. When caring for pets in a client's home, I make it a priority to follow their normal routine as closely as possible so their pets feel comfortable and secure. I ensure they are fed on schedule, have fresh water, get plenty of exercise and playtime, and receive lots of attention and companionship. I also make sure the home stays clean and tidy by cleaning up after the pets and keeping their living areas organized. I understand that every pet has different needs, so I carefully follow any specific instructions provided by the owner and provide updates when requested. My goal is to make sure pets feel safe, happy, and well cared for while their owners are away.
“If you’re looking for an outstanding pet sitter, look no further than Hal! He has taken care of our kitties several times now over the past couple years and I can’t say enough good things. It is so great to not have to worry when we are away! He is great!”

Hixson dog parents share their Rover experiences
This was my first trip away from my pup for a few days and didn’t quite know what to expect. Jeanette was excellent. She arrived a few minutes before scheduled times everyday, and going off the pictures she sends you can tell she really cares. I would definitely recommend if you want your pup just as happy when you come back as when you left.

Thank you Kearsten for all your help with Tallulah and all the extras you did while visiting. She and Frenchy will miss you! 💕. You have been a blessing and provided peace of mind while I was at work knowing the fur babies were in excellent care! Wishing all the joy and blessings in your time off!

I asked Sara to help me socialize my adopted, shelter dog. So, instead of a typical drop in, I was present for the visit. Sara was very patient and friendly with my dog and she knew exactly how to interact with her (get down low, avoid eye contact, continously give her treats, and let my dog approach her while telling her what a good girl she is). I was so relieved that I didnt have to explain all of that to her. My dog is so loving and affectionate but is super slow to trust people, but she was taking treats out of Sara's hand immediately. I have asked her to come back, so my dog can get to know the same person before introducing her to more people. I am confident that her and my dog will become great friends.
