I’ve had five cats over the years, so I have plenty of experience with them and all of their different personalities. “I asked Sara to help me socialize my adopted, shelter dog. So, instead of a typical drop in, I was present for the visit. Sara was very patient and friendly with my dog and she knew exactly how to interact with her (get down low, avoid eye contact, continously give her treats, and let my dog approach her while telling her what a good girl she is). I was so relieved that I didnt have to explain all of that to her. My dog is so loving and affectionate but is super slow to trust people, but she was taking treats out of Sara's hand immediately. About: I have been around dogs all my life. All of the dogs and cats that my family and I had/have were found as strays and made part of the family. I would always help my parents take care of my neighbor’s dogs when they are away on vacation. This past fall, I dog sat and dog walked for a family before, during, and after they went on a cruise. I am good with young and old dogs, all sizes!! I grew up loving animals and have been fortunate enough to have cared for many different animals. Classes start up late August, so all dates up until then are open until booked. Once college classes start up again, my schedule will mostly stay the same, open. During the semester, I will have a tutoring job, but it shouldn’t have any effect on scheduling or anything like that. If there is a conflict, tutoring sessions can be moved. I always meet clients before I start any service to make sure that I am compatible with the cat or dog. After that, I make sure to follow what the client needs and wants for their pets. I give lots of attention when I’m not at work and make sure that they get all that they need.

Dogs will be let out at least 5 times per day (before and after breakfast, in the afternoon, before and after dinner, and before bed). Dogs must be well socialized to dogs outside of their own home. *For dog walking needs: All dogs must be well behaved on leash and have a secure collar/ harness. I am not available to walk dogs using prong, or shock collars.

About: I have been petsitting since middle school, and I truly love animals. My clientele has expanded through word of mouth, and I have many repeat customers. I am thorough when meeting clients and asking about special instructions, medications and expectations. I take great care of client’s homes in addition to their animals and will collect mail, water plants, wash sheets and take care of dishes etc. I would never want to leave a mess for a client to return to! I have worked with senior dogs, multi pet households and young dogs alike, and I don’t discriminate with regards to breed, age or size. I can be trusted with your pets and your home, and I have many years of experience as well as close relationships with my clients. I’ve been away from Rover for a few years, but I’ve still been petsitting during that time. I’m currently taking a break from full time employment, so my schedule is open and available for pet care. I can be flexible with times etc because I don’t have another work schedule to handle. I am responsible and will make sure your pets and home are taken care of. If I’m staying in your home, I will clean dishes/sheets etc and wouldn’t leave a mess for you to come home to!
