“Meridith was wonderful! My dog June can be a little shy at first but Meridith was so gentle and patient with June that she warmed up quickly! Meridith was very reliable and effective at communicating. I would definitely book her again to walk June.”

“Hailee is so great with our two kittles! She is communicative and responsible, and our cats always look forward to seeing her. Plus, she sends great photos and descriptions each visit. Will always trust her to take care of them while we are away!”

“Will be tough to trust our boy, Sango, with anyone else! Justin is awesome — excellent communication and truly cares about Sango. It’s possible Sango enjoyed our week away from home more than we did.”

“Jordan was absolutely amazing! I needed a last minute sitter to help me while I was in town and she answered me so quickly. Called and well and provided excellent care. It really gave me such a peace of mind!”

“Lauren is extremely communicative, flexible, reliable, and kind—I highly recommend her for any pet care services! I will continue booking services with her for as long as she is available. Thank you for everything Lauren!”

About: Hey! I'm Darby, I have 6 years of experience caring for pets of all shapes and sizes including dogs, cats, fish, reptiles, amphibians, and small mammals. Pet sitting was the fist way I discovered I could make money when I was in middle school, and I still love it to this day! I have about 1.5 years of experience working as a trained veterinary technician. This means that I am comfortable working with special needs animals, providing special diets, and administering medication. I am also familiar working with animals that may be anxious. Right now, I'm studying animal biology at The University of Tennessee, working at an exotic animal clinic, and am starting to apply for veterinary school. Relevant Classes: Animal Anatomy and Physiology, Cellular & Molecular Biology, Small Animal Veterinary Medicine I'm currently working part-time and taking college courses online. My best availability is all-day Friday-Sunday, but I can be flexible if I have a heads up! I like to make sure I have everything I need to know from a client before they leave so I don't have to bother them too much while they're away! This includes medication, feeding schedule, behavioral problems, and any space that may be off limits to myself and/or the pet. I'm no stranger to a mess, so no worries if your pet is prone to accidents.
About: I was a vet tech for 6 years. I know where dogs and cats like to be scratched and I am happy to provide scratching! I recently moved here and am semi retired. I love animals but my family member's are allergic to them. Coming to your home your pets will get my full attention and be happy as my fur fix! In coming to your home I will take care of all your pets needs whether picking up poop or scooping a box, feeding, walking, playing, and brushing. Happily wearing each other out with love and attention!
“Bonnie was so sweet to our baby girl! She was very consistent and made sure we had plenty of photos and videos plus updates on her behavior. She definitely took a lot of the worry out of leaving our girl at home for a week!! I highly recommend 😀”

About: I’ve cared for dogs for my entire life. Starting as a kid, dogs were my first love as an animal enthusiast. They are so playful, kind, loving, innocent, and unique in every way. I’ve never had a dog that didn’t give me their full loyalty. I believe every animal should be protected and treated with love and respect. My ultimate goal in life is to become a veterinarian and help animals who don’t have someone to care for them. I am currently available weekdays for drop in and walking services. I am also available on weekends based on availability. I also offer bathing services as an add on to any booking! I believe proper animal care is essential. I have in depth knowledge of temperament and training. I would be more than happy to follow a set schedule for your pet and care for them in the most stress free way possible.
About: I’ve been a dog owner for many years and am my friends and families go-to dog sitter! Since starting Rover I have had the pleasure of meeting many new friends and establishing multiple returning clients and 5 star reviews. I have experience with multiple breeds and the variety of needs that come with that. I am a dog lover through and through. I genuinely care about the well being of all pets and will make sure any pet in my care is looked after like they were my own. I am home most of the time with my daughter and 6 year old cavapoo. I can be available whenever needed. Flexible schedule, reliable and trustworthy. I have a yard with a fence and also love to take dogs on walks. My cavapoo is an inside dog but we go for at least 2-3 walks a day.
About: I have taken care of my family's dogs and cats from a young age. I also have extensive experience caring for family and friend's pets when they travel. Recently I have become a dog mom of Ginger, who is an energetic English Setter! I work during the day but have availability on weekends and after work hours. At the moment I am a teacher so I also have more availability during school breaks I will take great care of your pet and can be flexible to their needs. If your dog is sociable, I also have a friendly pup of my own to keep yours company! I am happy to feed your pets and administer any medications during my service. I also love walking dogs and/or playing fetch with them. I am used to dogs with high energy, as my own is very energetic, however I’m also more than happy to just relax with more mellow pets.

“Angela was great, five stars! She sent us daily updates with pictures. Our dog Taco was in great spirits when we came home. Hopefully Angela will be available to watch Taco on future trips.”
About: I love spending time caring for furry friends of all kinds. I’ve grown up with pets my whole life and would always be the first to volunteer as a pet sitter for anyone I knew who needed it. I work part time and have varied availability based on school and my work schedule that week. I can be very flexible and move things around if needed, especially for a regular visit. I am happy to do whatever you are most comfortable with and what will make your furry friend most comfortable. Feeding, walking, spending time with or staying overnight to offer more long term care.
About: I have been surrounded by animals my whole life and have experience with dogs of all sizes! I have worked at a kennel for three years so I also have experience with senior dogs and puppies! I hope to provide a safe environment anywhere I can! I can crate when I leave, watch them in the backyard, or any other tasks I am asked!
“Sonja and Yolanda were great! I had a last minute overnight trip to a funeral and they gladly agreed to come look in on our two dogs. I did drop-in visits since our dogs are used to being at home, but will certainly consider an overnight with them when we have a need again. Thanks for taking care of our fur babies!”

“Terri is always amazing with our fur babies! She handles their meds and special needs and then loves on them. When we come home, they aren't mad at us like they usually are when we're gone. That's because Terri takes such great care of them.”

About: Animals have always been a big part of my life. I grew up with three dogs and have helped care for friends’ and family members’ pets for as long as I can remember. I’m comfortable with feeding, walks, playtime, giving attention, and keeping pets safe and comfortable while their owners are away. Pet care fits naturally into my routine right now, which allows me to maintain a very flexible schedule and give pets plenty of attention, consistency, patience, and care throughout visits, walks, and check-ins. I’m available most weekdays and weekends and can adapt to different routines and pet needs as necessary. For pets’ comfort, safety, and consistency, I currently provide care in clients’ homes through walks, drop-ins, and sitting visits. I understand how important it is for pets to stay in a familiar environment and routine while their owners are away, and I always strive to make them feel comfortable, cared for, and well attended to. I’m attentive to instructions, respectful of clients’ homes, and happy to provide updates and photos during visits for peace of mind.
Chattanooga dog parents share their Rover experiences
Sarah has been absolutely amazing to work with!! She is very responsive, punctual, and keeps me updated with each check-in visit. It gives me so much peace of mind knowing my furry children are in such great hands. I would highly recommend her to anyone needing dependable and caring pet care!

Lisa did an amazing job caring for our pets and my daughter’s pets, as well. We were visiting for my daughter’s wedding and Lisa managed care throughout the day letting my dogs out and feeding them as well as transporting two dogs to and from the wedding venue for pictures. Lisa visited beforehand to be clear on our needs for the day. She was very responsible, on time for everything, and left the house spotless. She also communicated well about situations like one of our dogs not wanting to eat his food. Overall, Lisa made us very comfortable with the dogs in her care and because of this we were able to relax and enjoy our daughter’s wedding. I would highly recommend her.

Martha stepped in on short notice and immediately put me at ease knowing Waylon was in good hands. She spent real time with him, walked him, loved on him, and kept me updated with photos and clear communication. Couldn’t have asked for better care. Highly recommend.

Cierra has sat for us a couple of time now and we are very happy with her service. Our pets are always happy when we come home and we can tell she gives them lots of love. She is very friendly, responsive and professional. We look forward to working with her again in the future.

Giovani is a ROCK STAR...And I don't mean one of those old and fading rockstars that you kinda remember their one hit...I mean bonafide 20 Stadium Selling-out America/European/Asia Touring ROCKSTAR!!! Giovanni was able to help us out over a stretch with very short notice flawlessly. Our dog is a challenge to say the least but Giovani was able to get Woody to warm up to him and actually act like a pretty likable pettable dog! He kept us up to date and sent daily reports and pics that reassured us that Woody was in Great Hands and doing well. Thanks G...Good to meet you and get to know you. - Ken Christy & Woody
