As Tennessee and Chattanooga begin to open up again from the coronavirus pandemic, you may be thinking about making travel plans or need doggie daycare. I want to assure you that I will do everything possible to keep your pet safe. I have been self isolating at home since March 30th. I have masks, gloves, hand sanitizer and disinfecting wipes. I have a plan in place to self distance when dropping off and picking up. I have a very large, fenced in backyard where your doggie can play so we don't have to take walks.

So, if you are thinking about making travel plans this summer or just want your doggie to have a break for the day from being home, I can provide peace of mind that your doggie will get the best, safe care. Please feel free to contact me if you need more information or have questions.

Your Dog Will Feel at Home Here.Ooltewah, TN

Hi my name is Claudia.

I'm an animal lover and so is my family, we enjoy the company of all types of animal especially pups. I currently have one fur-baby that I love, her name is Nena. My husband and I are very hands-on with our fur-baby and will do the same with yours. We like long walks or runs throughout the day. My children love having pups visit and never feel afraid even with gentle giants.

I proudly donate a percentage of my proceeds to the Lost Dog Foundation. As a child, I lost my childhood pet and was devastated. I support this organization in helping to find lost pets and return to their owners.

Why I Love Dog Sitting:

I always loved animals and surrounded myself with pets since I was very young. I like educating myself about different breeds and origins. I like giving back to those who protect us when most needed, our pups. I don't think any pup should be alone which is why I happily offer my services.

My Experience Administering Medication:

I was trained from a vet on proper methods for administering medicine to animals. I'm also open to learning about the pup owners preferred way to administer medication to their pup.

We are dog lovers!!!Chattanooga, TN

Brent and I are dog lovers. We are the 1st choice dog sitters for our friends and family because they know their furry children will be well cared for and feel at home in our home. I have cared dogs my whole life, and have fostered many puppies, adult dogs, and kittens.

We have a fenced in backyard and plenty of room inside for playtime. Puppy proofing, no human food, plenty of exercise and play time are all things we provide when pet sitting. I work from home, and am rarely gone for more than a few hours.

After we eat breakfast and have dog party playtime, the pups will have full run of the downstairs and back yard.. My home office is near the door to our fenced backyard. Harper and her buds like to play fetch, lay in the sun, and get daily brushing out back.

Your pups will be a part of our family while they are staying with us. We will treat them like they are our own. We play, we snuggle, most dogs sleep in the bed... We send daily pictures and texts because that's what I would appreciate while I'm traveling. We would love to have your furry children spend some time with us!

***Please bring a copy of your rabies vaccination with you to our meet and greet or drop off. Unfortunately, we cannot accept puppies that are under 16 weeks and have had all of their shots. ***** If, when you leave your home, you kennel your dog, we will do that here, as well. Please plan on bringing your crate with you, but sometimes we can make arrangements to use our crate. Also, please bring food, bowl, and bed/blanket/comfort item for your pet. If you haven't left your pup before, a night shirt can be very comforting for any anxiety or nervousness. ****

*****No aggressive breeds ***** Your dog MUST be able to get along with other dogs in a family pack setting.****

Down Home Doggy Daycare offers walking, boarding in our home, and daily daycare drop ins.

Our home is smoke free with 2 very sweet and playful boxers. Domino is socialized and spoiled. She plays well with any size or breed of friend and treats each one like her new BFF!! Bane is the newest little and is equally as playful :) My family will give the same care and attention for your dog(s) as if they were our own. Regular ear scratchings and belly rubs means your baby will feel right at home.

I take multiple pictures (of their vacation, lol) to help put you at ease. With the knowledge that your baby will be happy and safe you can relax and enjoy your vacation. We like to take frequent walks at Camp Jordan with your dog. Also, our shady fully fenced in large yard is a great place to romp and play catch.

We do prefer meet & greets prior to accepting booking reservations for our new guests. We also require proof of current vaccinations including rabies for ALL guests to help ensure the safety of everyone.

Vet Assistant and Pet CPR CertifiedChattanooga, TN

I have nine years of professional experience caring for animals and I`ve also owned many animals throughout my life (cats, dogs, bunnies, guinea pigs, chinchilla, fish, frogs, cockatiels, hermit crabs, and turtles). My professional experience began when I started volunteering at my local humane society in high school and I have since worked at two veterinary clinics as a Kennel Technician. I am currently being trained as a Veterinary Technician/Assistant. I also volunteer with a local wildlife rehab working with opossums! I recently spent four weeks in South Africa completing a Pre-Veterinary program where I worked with goats, sheep, pigs, cattle, tortoises, antelope, and other wildlife. Therefore, I have experience watching your non-dog/cat fur babies as well!

I have experience injecting insulin, administering oral medication, injections (adequin, etc.) and fluids, as well as providing specialized care for geriatric or special needs dogs. I can also provide post operative care for your pets. I am pet CPR certified as well and bring a pet first aid kit on all my walks!

All animals are welcome at my home with my two cats, three guinea pigs, chinchilla, and husband (who is also a Rover petsitter). I`m very flexible with my schedule and will provide the best care for your babies while you`re away! I'll treat your kiddos like they are mine and will give specialized attention to each fur baby in my care. I love to give frequent updates, send lots of pictures, and if you're lucky you may receive a watercolor painting of your baby done by me! I also offer nail trims for cats and exotics (see pricing). Please visit my Rover instagram account, ThatRoverChick, to see some of my happy furry clients! I am looking forward to working with you and your furry, scaley, feathery, or bald kiddo or kiddos!

Kayak's Bed and BarkfestChattanooga, TN

Hi, my name is Anna and I absolutely love dogs. I have a Newfoundland named Kayak (7 years old) and a Saint Bernard named Eady (just turned 2). They are the biggest and sweetest dogs ever. I've been dog sitting since Kayak was a puppy so he gets along with everyone. Eady is a big baby and loves anyone and everyone. Their best friend is their 2 year old cat, Richard Parker (who thinks he is a dog and is the only alpha personality in the house). We are a laid back crew but we also enjoy being active. Our favorite activities include playing in the yard, daily walks, hiking, swimming, going to the dog park, and napping on the couch. If you want to see some picture of our adventures and of the pals we've met dog sitting, check out our Instagram page @sistersittersofchattanooga or @fupianna.

I want to make your dog feel at home, so let me know what they enjoy and what they are used to. I make my own schedule for work and my office is 3 miles from my house, so I am flexible and available. I'm usually not away from home for more than a few hours at a time. I also love taking photos so I will try to provide you with tons of pics of your pup's stay at my house.
