I can finally relax knowing “my little girl” is safe and secure with the husband and wife team that really cares. I knew she was in good hands the moment I pulled into the driveway. That’s when Brent came out of the house to greet us excited and calling Missy’s name. Suddenly, the dog that had been moping around all morning because I was leaving… Immediately! Came to life and took off running towards Brent like she had known him her whole life. He picked her up and started playing with her like they were old friends. That’s when I felt relief… knowing I had finally found a place where Missy could interact and play with a caring couple and their sweet dog Harper. Giving my dog the time and attention she needs and deserves. PLUS… I really appreciated the candid photographs Christina snapped of Missy during her stay. They allowed me to take a peek at what she was up to…while giving me a satisfied peace of mind.”

On top of that, he is TERRIFIED of everyone except for me. My other two are also scaredy cats. Avery was able to work with all three cats, made sure my sick kitty got his meds every night (even though he refused to come out of hiding!!!), befriended the two shy kitties (including the spicy one!!!) Avery made sure to check in with me each day- before, during and after every visit! Amber shared daily photos and videos and other updates. She’s both proactive and quickly responsive. Will happily trust her to watch my pup anytime. But for my sake, please just…find someone else 🙏🏻”

“Leaving “Little Missy” (my 13-yr. old Jack Russell Terrier) with Christina and Brent was the first time I can remember, getting away for the weekend and really enjoying myself. I can finally relax knowing “my little girl” is safe and secure with the husband and wife team that really cares. I knew she was in good hands the moment I pulled into the driveway. That’s when Brent came out of the house to greet us excited and calling Missy’s name. Suddenly, the dog that had been moping around all morning because I was leaving… Immediately! Came to life and took off running towards Brent like she had known him her whole life. He picked her up and started playing with her like they were old friends. That’s when I felt relief… knowing I had finally found a place where Missy could interact and play with a caring couple and their sweet dog Harper. Giving my dog the time and attention she needs and deserves. PLUS… I really appreciated the candid photographs Christina snapped of Missy during her stay. They allowed me to take a peek at what she was up to…while giving me a satisfied peace of mind.”

I also really liked that Athena wasn’t rushing to get in my truck & get home as she so often did at a large pet boarding place. About: All my life, I have been around dogs. I currently have a sweet boy, Winston, who is a Pit Mix. I’ve had several different dogs over the years and have assisted family and friends with pet care. I also have previous work experience with a pet boarding and grooming facility in Baton Rouge. From having experience in a professional setting and having experience caring for pets at home, I find the at home care to be much more comfortable for the pet- which is why I decided to register here! I love making the pets and their owners feel as comfortable as possible. A personal touch- I like to take funny/cute pictures of what we do and send them to you once I’ve completed the service! I currently have two dogs that I watch for my mother. When I am in town, this looks like walks every afternoon and evening, frequent play time, and feedings. I love to make sure they are happy- whether that’s running around outside, long play time, some chill TLC, or even a few extra treats ;)
About: I’ve been rescuing animals since I could talk: dogs, cats, Guinea pigs, lizards, turtles, anything with a pulse lol. I am a veterinary social worker with a passion in the animal human bond. I have recently started training to be a dog trainer. I have experience working with high energy dog breeds, puppies, kittens, and senior animals. Many of the skills that I use as a therapist are transferable to training and bonding with animals. It’s so exciting to connect the information I know about humans with working with animals. I work full time as a therapist and am gone for about 3-4 hours at a time. After 3-4 hours I come home to check on all animals. Weekends I am completely open. The day typically starts around 8am in my household and schedule may vary depending on the needs of the animals in my home. I have a fenced in yard and designated dog room for crating animals while I am away. It is important to me that your animals safety is top priority, so when unsupervised they will be crated in a room designed for their comfort. I have 2 friendly pups who have been through professional training & one cat who minds his own business. I have the ability to separate your animals from other animals if needed. I can accommodate various needs.
