“Brandi is awesome! She took great care of my pup and sent really nice updates and photos each day. My pup seemed to fit in really well with her and her family and I felt confident that his needs were taken care of. Will definitely book again. Thanks Brandi!”

“We have a geriatric dog who has a little trouble getting around. Tish was extremely patient and helpful with her, and our dog really seemed comfortable. We would be very comfortable having our dog stay with Tish any time”

“I would recommend Carrie. She was great at communicating and sharing updates about our dog,Winnie’s, visit. Carie made Winnie feel right at home from the first moment of meeting her. Winnie had a great week with Carrie!”

“Will & Jillian were great with Rosie and were great about sending pictures and communicating with us while we were away! We will definitely use them again in the future!”

“We had an excellent experience boarding with Jaxen! She was extremely flexible with us on drop off due to unforeseen circumstances. She has a very nice kennel house that was clean and spacious for the dogs and a large yard for them to run around in throughout the day! She sent us pictures of Ranger playing and he had a big smile on his face, so I’m sure he enjoyed his stay. Thank you!!”

“I was very impressed with how well Terry took care of Buster. You could tell she really loves animals. He loved being with her! She took him for walks and spent a lot of time with him on her back porch. She asked lots of questions to ensure Buster was getting everything he needed. She continually sent me little messages about their day and adorable photos. I will definitely use her as a sitter again. Thank you so much Terry!”

“This was our second time leaving our boys with Stephanie and I can’t recommend her more! She’s very communicative and sends nightly messages with photos and videos of what they did for the day. We will continue to use her for our boarding needs.”

“Our dog Lola had a great week with Pam!! We got updates and pictures most every day and Lola was so well cared for while we were gone. This was our first time using Rover and leaving Lola in someone else’s care other than at home with family so we were so thrilled with how well everything went. We will definitely be using Pam again! Thanks!!”

“From being a little reluctant to stay to being a little reluctant to go back home, Holden seemed to really enjoy being with Christa, her family, and visiting dogs. He seemed happy and well cared for plus he seemed to have a good time with fellow boarders. It’s the second time he’s boarded with Christa and her family. She sends pictures and frequent updates; and, we have great confidence and trust in her ability to care for our dog(s).”

“Always kind and takes great care of Pepper. It's Pepper's.home away from home. She loves it on Jaime's farm and enjoys the dogs and other animals immensely. Jaime is always thoughtful with updates and pictures/videos. I'm completely confident that Jaime and her family take great care of Pepper, as if she werw part of their family. Thank you SO much!”

“Angela is a supersitter! She was so kind and caring with our dogs and really went the extra mile, throwing frisbee to our Aussie and loving on our cavapoo! She is a genuine animal liver who treats your pets like her own! We will definitely rebook. Thanks, Angela!”

“Gosh we loved Gaby! She was so flexible with our schedule and took the best care of Maisy. She made sure to send pictures and kept us updated throughout Maisy’s stay. Will definitely use her again and again! This was our first experience with rover and it makes it so much easier when you know there are people out there that love dogs as much as our family does!”

“I recently moved here and didn’t know anyone to leave my dog with. George and his mom were super welcoming and flexible. I am grateful to have somewhere I feel comfortable leaving him again, and I know he had a great time!”

“Nancy & Stan are amazing hosts! There was daily communication and pictures. Their family loved on our fur babies like their own. First time with them, as well as Rover. We would definitely use them again. They went above and beyond. The kids are used to “flavoring” with their meals from us. They did not have to, but they gave them “extras” with their meals. Very clean, smoke free home. Our babies were well cared for and loved. It was wonderful to go on vacation and not have to worry about them. Nancy even washed his belly bands, very thoughtful. When we got home from picking them up, they are happy and well adjusted. No issues at all. Highly recommended.”

“5 star experience! Our 4 year old chocolate lab had the best time with Malia and her crew. We got multiple updates throughout his stay and could not recommend Malia enough!”

“Giulia and her family were wonderful! We have a pretty high energy lab and when we picked him up he was exhausted from playing with her dogs and being loved! We will absolutely book with Giulia again. She is so responsive and would send updates and pictures and videos everyday.”

About: All my life, I have been around dogs. I currently have a sweet boy, Winston, who is a Pit Mix. I’ve had several different dogs over the years and have assisted family and friends with pet care. I also have previous work experience with a pet boarding and grooming facility in Baton Rouge. From having experience in a professional setting and having experience caring for pets at home, I find the at home care to be much more comfortable for the pet- which is why I decided to register here! I love making the pets and their owners feel as comfortable as possible. A personal touch- I like to take funny/cute pictures of what we do and send them to you once I’ve completed the service! I currently have two dogs that I watch for my mother. When I am in town, this looks like walks every afternoon and evening, frequent play time, and feedings. I love to make sure they are happy- whether that’s running around outside, long play time, some chill TLC, or even a few extra treats ;)
“Julie was the best! I wasn't sure how our dog would be with a stranger in a strange location because she is a very skittish rescue. Our dog accepted Julie right away and was very comfortable and made herself right at home. Julie sent pictures every day and I'm not sure our dog even missed us! We definitely will use Julie again if we need her!”

“Great experience all in all. The family was so welcoming and sweet. I would definitely recommend Kristen and her family to anyone needing to leave their fur baby with a sitter.”

Preparing for drop-off is easy when you have a checklist! To help your dog settle into their Lookout Mountain home-away-from-home, we recommend packing:
- Health and safety essentials such as their ID tags, vaccination records, medication, and emergency vet or secondary caregiver contacts.
- Food and gear such as harnesses, collars, food (portioned by day), and an item that smells like you.

The Rover Guarantee is Rover’s commitment to your peace of mind every time you book. It includes 24/7 customer support, sitter access to advice from qualified veterinary professionals for diagnostic issues, and a reimbursement program for eligible veterinary care in the rare event something goes wrong.
All bookings are backed by the Rover Guarantee , which provides up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care reimbursement.
Every sitter on Rover is required to pass a background check before listing their services. This process confirms their identity and indicates they are not on the Department of Justice’s National Sex Offender Public Website or have any disqualifying offenses.
Beyond ID checks, you can review each sitter's star rating, read verified reviews from other pet parents, and see how many repeat clients they have. Every booking is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care. For more details, visit Rover's Trust & Safety page .
While each sitter sets their own vaccine requirements, staying up-to-date on your dog’s vaccines is the best way to be "boarding ready". Vaccinations help create a safe environment for all pets under a sitter’s care.
Many sitters in GA ask that dogs be up to date on core vaccines like the Canine Parvovirus, Canine Distemper, Canine Adenovirus, Bordetella, and Rabies.
By discussing your pet's health history early, you’re adding a layer of confidence for you and your sitter before the booking begins.
If a health concern arises during a stay, your sitter is instructed to contact you and our Trust & Safety team immediately and, if needed, take your dog to the closest veterinarian. Through our Trust & Safety support team, sitters can ask for diagnostic advice from a qualified veterinary professional if your dog is showing signs of possible illness.
For extra peace of mind, you can also prepare an authorization form for your regular vet. An authorization form outlines your preferred method of care and allows your sitter to bring your pet into their regular clinic.
Every qualified booking made on Rover is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes reimbursement for eligible emergency vet care.
