“We appreciate Staysha staying with Bentley and accepting to care for him. I truly believe that Staysha loves to care for animals; however, today I experienced something that I had not experienced before through Rover.com. One was that the pet sitter did not update her address until after we booked, making this a serious issue due to us trying to coordinate the timing of our destination to her home. The other reason is that when I called Staysha to let her know we were going over to pick up my dog, she said that she left my dog to someone else while she went to run errands and go walk another dog and feed another dog at some other house. In one of the pictures, my dog was outside playing with a belly band on and when Inwent to pick him up his belly band was wet of pee pee and the pad was stinky of urine from not being changed. And when we got there to pick him up, Staysha was not there yet and her young niece gave me Bentley. The only reason why I will leave a tip at this point is because I feel bad for Staysha little niece who she seemed to be the one who was watching Bentley while Staysha was out. Staysha, if I could give you a constructive criticism, it would be that, I know you really mean to care for animals, ect. But, when a pet owner leaves their pet with “you” - who Rover.com checks your background check ect, the pet owner is trusting you to watch over their baby, their kid, their dog. For us Bentley is like our son and when you told me you left him with someone else, I could not believe it. I could give a 3 star vs 4 stars, but I believe in second chances, in forgiveness and I know that my feedback will serve to you as a positive one because you will plan your schedule better so that this does not happen again. She kindly welcomed us to an impromptu meet and greet which was very helpful for our two shih tzus, 0ne is over 15 yo, nearly deaf with vision loss, and his buddy was recently rescued from a breeding mill so he's learning about love, leash, harness, steps, toys, beds, security: everything in dog life. Josie and her service dog Saint share a wonderful energy which we appreciate. Our two pups do best in calm and they responded well to them. During their stay Josie provided exceptional communication with photos and updates which we appreciated even when we were unable to respond. Her love, patience and dedication to dogs are evident. I definitely recommend Josie and Saint and will request them again. Next time I think our little dogs would be more comfortable without a second large dog staying too. I have confidence in Josie managing several at a time, however ours can become unsettled by larger groups of dogs or people. Over time they may be able to feel more secure in them. Now, they are less sure. Josie handled any of their insecurities or fears well. She is very accommodating for their needs all around, including special allergy diets too. About: All my life, I have been around dogs. I currently have a sweet boy, Winston, who is a Pit Mix. “1st off Lexi is a rescue and very scared of new places because she is afraid of being left or alone. She has extreme anxiety even has medication if needed. But they made her feel right at home and gave her lots of love. I have never left her with anyone sense we got her 11 months ago and I was a nervous wreck up until the day I met Lauren and her girls. I was so happy that Lexi was ok. But she sent me pictures daily and gave me updates and didn’t even need her medicine. Which says a lot for Lauren and her family. I highly recommend her as a sitter to any animal and if needed ppl are more than welcomed to call me and I’ll give you pages and pages of details. I will definitely be using her again and I want to say Thankyou so much !!!!”
