She’s even studying to be a veterinarian! Do not pass her up! She’s the only housesitter we’ll use from now on!”

His time with my dogs has improved my life and more specifically, my great danes life, immensely. I realize that may seem like a strange statement for a pet sitter, but let me explain. Kane, the Dane, had turned from a well socialized dog to a very reactive dog through Covid. I had done so many things to try to prevent this from ever appearing, and was a bit overwhelmed to find myself with 165 pound unpredictable, but beautiful animal. With a lot of training and work, I finally got to a place where I could walk him down the street without a muzzle on again. Huge moment for us. I really thought the days of taking him with me to public dog friendly locations was over. And it’s saddened me because I wanted a dog that would be part of my everyday life, not one stuck at the house with an occasional walk. Then Justin entered the scene. With my permission, Justin spent a lot of time not only caring for their basic needs, but socializing them. During this last booking, Justin was even able to take Kane to a local pet friendly establishment, and they both had a great experience. My phone was flooded with pictures and videos of Kane enjoying being part of the world. It was incredible to see that dog again, because it’s been years. I had honestly tried to set that dream aside, thinking it was forever out of reach. A few days after I returned home, Justin went even further above and beyond. He met me and Kane at that same dog friendly location to help give me confidence and support should anything go awry. I got a first row seat to watch my dog be adored on by stranger after stranger. We even had a few nose stiff with the other dogs with no incident. It’s hard to put into words when you thought something you hoped and dreamed for was gone forever, and then it emerges from the most unexpected places. I know to many pet owners this may sound like an overly dramatized story. But to those who have challenges with reactive dogs, you know just how life changing it is. Thank you, Justin. About: I’ve cared for animals throughout most of my life and am comfortable with a wide range of pets, personalities, sizes, and care needs. I grew up with a dachshund who was part of my family from age 8 until he passed away when I was 18, and I have also owned a cat. For six years, I regularly helped care for my roommate’s two elderly Miniature Schnauzers while she worked long nursing shifts. I frequently provided overnight care and handled more involved senior needs, including following detailed routines, cleaning up accidents, changing diapers, assisting with mobility, and keeping them comfortable and safe. I’ve also frequently pet-sat a friend’s young Goldendoodle, so I’m comfortable with energetic dogs, active play, and walks that sometimes feel more like a run! In addition, I farm-sit for my stepsister and care for her ducks, chickens, two small indoor dogs, and four large Great Pyrenees working dogs. This has made me comfortable managing multiple animals at once, following feeding and outdoor routines, and caring for both small companion pets and very large working breeds. Whether your pet is young and energetic, elderly and in need of extra patience, or simply happiest sticking to a familiar routine, I’ll provide dependable, attentive care and regular updates while you’re away. I work full-time Monday through Friday from 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM, making me available for morning visits before work, evening visits after work, overnight house sitting, and weekend bookings. When caring for your pet, I prioritize keeping them on their normal routine and following any specific instructions you provide. Whether your pet enjoys long walks, playtime, quiet companionship, or needs extra attention due to age or special needs, I’ll provide dependable, loving care and keep you updated with photos and messages throughout your booking. Weekday dog walks are available after 5:00 PM due to my full-time work schedule. I’m available mornings, evenings, weekends, and overnight house sitting. Your pet’s safety, comfort, and routine are my top priorities. I understand that every animal has different needs, and I take the time to carefully follow feeding schedules, medication instructions, exercise routines, and any other preferences you have. My experience ranges from caring for senior dogs with special needs and diapers to energetic puppies, giant Great Pyrenees, indoor and outdoor cats, and farm animals. I’m comfortable handling multiple pets, maintaining a calm environment, and adapting to each animal’s personality. I’ll treat both your home and your pets with the same respect and care I would expect for my own, and I’ll always keep you informed with regular updates so you can enjoy your time away with confidence.

About: I kept friends dogs at my home for years while they traveled for work or play. I now have two cats I adore, but they don’t get along with dogs or I would still do it in my own home. I’ve supported and helped train several of my dogs and generally don’t have a problem holding the parents expectations for their fur kids, if that’s behaving on leash, rehearsing training, or making sure that they “do something” for treats, I’m happy to make sure they aren’t letting their manners slip around the new guy. I am a large man over 6ft and 230lb, and I have met a few pups who specifically didn’t seem comfortable around me, they were rescues and some warmed up with time. I would to meet your shy pet and see if they warm up, but I prefer being honest and if large men give your pet anxiety, I may not be the sitter for you. And that’s ok I’m a massage therapist, so while my schedule may change from day to day, I have time to swing by for walks, feedings, or even meds as long as you have specific instructions for the meds. I don’t take clients until 10, and i often have large breaks during the day to visit or check on the fur kids. I am not married nor do I have kids so i can be flexible with my time. I follow the clients instructions to the letter, and leave the space as I found it with happy sleepy pets. I’ve cared for kennels and champion hunting dogs, feral cats and the dogs they scared. I prioritize keeping them on their own schedule and stress free. I will let you know if and where I would need to deviate from their normal schedule if necessary.
