About: Grew up taking care of animals consistently Had a senior dog growing up Taken multiple puppy behavior/training courses Love training new skills and commands to dogs I have worked with many special needs animals I have a pretty flexible schedule through out the week, with more availability early mornings or any time after 4PM. My weekends are quiet and usually free for extra drop-ins or a nice walk. I have two cats that love other animals to play with. I have a smaller apartment so, I have to limit the size of the pets I allow in my home.
“Laurie was fantastic! We have never had anyone but family watch our dogs so we were hesitant. We have 3 dogs- 2 are extremely active. Laurie came to meet them a few days before and we went through their routine. She arrived promptly on her scheduled day and sent pictures per request. The dogs were very happy! “Justin has taken care of my brilliant and temperamental Great Dane Kane and sweet lab for the last several months. Not only has he taken great care of my boys, but he also has done a ton of work to socialize Kane. There was a time I could take Kane anywhere, followed by a time I could not walk him without a muzzle as his reactivity was off the charts. We’ve come so far and haven’t needed a muzzle for some time, but Justin has helped him get to a whole other level. With my permission over the last several sessions he has had up to 4 large dogs at my house to help my boy. This last time Justin even took Kane to a dog friendly establishment to get him exposure outside of the house. Justin has spent significant time and energy investing in Kanes mental well being. I come home to happy, tired, well behaved dogs. He leaves them better than he finds them. He’s given me hope and confidence that Kane will be able to get back out into the world without reactivity. There are not words to fully express my gratitude! Additionally, he’s great with sending updates, pictures and thoughtful about caring for your home. (Ex: asking where towels are to wipe off muddy paws). He’s incredibly responsive and flexible. He’s truly a big dog person.”

I worked at an animal hospital for 2.5~ years and have experience with medicating/bathing pets as well. I'm free most of the time so I make myself available often. About: I have cared for dogs and cats for as long as I can remember. Before I was 8, I had two amazing dogs and three precious and crazy cats. Since then (almost 20 years), I have cared for so many wonderful animals, from my own pets to professionally caring for dogs and cats through sitting and through dog walking. I love dogs of all size, and have experience caring for dogs as small as chihuahuas and dachshunds, to large labs, retrievers, doodles, mastiffs, and pitbulls. I've cared for puppies all the way to senior pups, including sick pets who I've administered medications to and prepared specialized diets for, including my own sweet pup who fought cancer several years ago. I have also fostered dogs with medical needs who were not able do well in shelter due to their conditions. I'm totally comfortable with multi pet homes. I love animals so much and treat each animal as if they're my own beloved pet. Nothing makes me happier than caring for animals and making them feel safe, happy, healthy, and loved. My work schedule changes week to week, but for the most part I make my own schedule and have flexibility to take as many breaks as possible in between appointments. I generally work more in the late afternoons and evenings, and my mornings especially are often completely free. Weekends are also free with enough notice! At this time I offer pet sitting services at the pet owners home, as well as additionally offering dog walking, and/or pet care drop ins throughout the day.

Coleman is a phenomenal human. I was incredibly comfortable leaving my pets in their care. Very personable and a comfortable person to be around. I wasn't even concerned with checking in, Coleman has a very trusting energy. I got plenty of updates and everything was taken care and then some! AMAZING!! with a diabetic cat and high energy dog, it can be hard to find someone i can trust to watch them. but Skylar knocked it out of the park! great communication, sent pics every day, and was graciously even able to pop in one extra time while i had an airport emergency. i came home to a tidy house and happy pets, couldn’t recommend more!

Jill was amazing with my 3 pets while I was out of the country for several days! I came home to a very secure, happy , well fed group who were all snuggled up happily with her. Maria was the BEST. We have had many dogsitters over the years, and she was the best sitter we have ever had. We were going out of the country and on very different timezones, so we were very hopeful she was going to be really communicative. She knocked our expectations out of the park. She sent so many pictures (and as an aside should be a professional pet photographer - the photos were fantastic!), frequent updates, walked our boy a LOT (he thrives on exercise, so we really appreciated this more than we can say), and even took him to her own home during a tornado warning, so he was not here alone. We could not have asked for better care and communication. As an added bonus, Maria kept our house in lovely shape - everything was clean and organized when we returned. She even washed, dried, and remade the bed so that we had clean sheets when we arrived late at night, all without ever being asked!! I cannot recommend Maria enough!! She is so kind, caring, compassionate and overall lovely. We feel SO lucky she was able to sit for us. You will adore her and so will your pets!!
We were in need of a last minute house/pet sitter for graduation weekend. Drake was quick to respond with his availability. He even met us beforehand to ensure he was the right fit for our animals.
