“Jacee was an excellent sitter & kept me updated with daily photos while house sitting. My fur babies loved her & I definitely trust her to stay with them again in the future. :)”

“I couldn’t have asked for a better sitter for my dog, Elton! From the moment we met, it was clear Alexandria genuinely loves animals and take their care seriously. Elton can be a bit particular about his routine, but she handled everything with such patience, kindness, and attention to detail. I got regular updates and photos that showed him happy, relaxed, and clearly in good hands. Which gave me total peace of mind while I was away. It’s such a relief to know I’ve found someone I can fully trust with my dog. I’ll absolutely be booking again for future trips :)”

“JaNiya is a phenomenal housesitter, especially if you have shy animals (but *any* animal would love her!). We have two skittish greyhounds and a very shy adopted cat. Within one day, our cat was sitting in JaNiya’s lap, and our dogs were relaxed and happy. I couldn’t believe it! She has such a calm, tender presence, and you can tell she adores animals. She’s even studying to be a veterinarian! Do not pass her up! She’s the only housesitter we’ll use from now on!”

“Justin has cared for my great dane & lab many times over the last few months. We normally travel at least once long weekend a month, sometimes more. His time with my dogs has improved my life and more specifically, my great danes life, immensely. I realize that may seem like a strange statement for a pet sitter, but let me explain. Kane, the Dane, had turned from a well socialized dog to a very reactive dog through Covid. I had done so many things to try to prevent this from ever appearing, and was a bit overwhelmed to find myself with 165 pound unpredictable, but beautiful animal. With a lot of training and work, I finally got to a place where I could walk him down the street without a muzzle on again. Huge moment for us. I really thought the days of taking him with me to public dog friendly locations was over. And it’s saddened me because I wanted a dog that would be part of my everyday life, not one stuck at the house with an occasional walk. Then Justin entered the scene. With my permission, Justin spent a lot of time not only caring for their basic needs, but socializing them. During this last booking, Justin was even able to take Kane to a local pet friendly establishment, and they both had a great experience. My phone was flooded with pictures and videos of Kane enjoying being part of the world. It was incredible to see that dog again, because it’s been years. I had honestly tried to set that dream aside, thinking it was forever out of reach. A few days after I returned home, Justin went even further above and beyond. He met me and Kane at that same dog friendly location to help give me confidence and support should anything go awry. I got a first row seat to watch my dog be adored on by stranger after stranger. We even had a few nose stiff with the other dogs with no incident. It’s hard to put into words when you thought something you hoped and dreamed for was gone forever, and then it emerges from the most unexpected places. I know to many pet owners this may sound like an overly dramatized story. But to those who have challenges with reactive dogs, you know just how life changing it is. Thank you, Justin. There are not enough words to express how grateful I am to you.”

About: Hey! I'm Darby, I have 6 years of experience caring for pets of all shapes and sizes including dogs, cats, fish, reptiles, amphibians, and small mammals. Pet sitting was the fist way I discovered I could make money when I was in middle school, and I still love it to this day! I have about 1.5 years of experience working as a trained veterinary technician. This means that I am comfortable working with special needs animals, providing special diets, and administering medication. I am also familiar working with animals that may be anxious. Right now, I'm studying animal biology at The University of Tennessee, working at an exotic animal clinic, and am starting to apply for veterinary school. Relevant Classes: Animal Anatomy and Physiology, Cellular & Molecular Biology, Small Animal Veterinary Medicine I'm currently working part-time and taking college courses online. My best availability is all-day Friday-Sunday, but I can be flexible if I have a heads up! I like to make sure I have everything I need to know from a client before they leave so I don't have to bother them too much while they're away! This includes medication, feeding schedule, behavioral problems, and any space that may be off limits to myself and/or the pet. I'm no stranger to a mess, so no worries if your pet is prone to accidents.
“Cayla was a rockstar! Three months ago, we rescued Badger, a young Red Heeler. She's very skittish around people and, while curious, won't allow people to pet her. At the time, we knew we'd be in Chattanooga for a wedding and would need to leave her for several long days. We were worried it would set back the progress we've made with her feeling comfortable around people. The opposite happened. Cayla moved at the perfect pace for Badger. She gave us some very helpful tips while we were there. If we lived in Chattanooga, we'd hire Cayla on a more regular basis. She communicated well, was on time, and I can't say enough good things about how well she cared for Badger.”

“Wanda house and pet sat for my two dogs and three cats and was amazing! I did not love the idea of boarding my dogs over a long weekend and Wanda came to the rescue. My animals instantly loved her and one my cats who is very shy even warmed up to her. She gave constant updates and was wonderful with communication. I cannot recommend her enough. Thank you, Wanda, for taking such great care of my furbabies.”

“Shelby is the best pet sitter we have ever had!!! Sadie was well loved and Shelby did such an awesome job with her. She kept us well updated & sent pictures. We’ll be using Shelby anytime we need a sitter.”

“Kiara did such an amazing job watching my pup! My pup is reactive and nervous around strangers and she followed all of my instruction on how to interact with him and everything went great!”

“First time using Gillian. I can only assume her and the doggos did okay together. They were fine when I got home. And she was extremely patient with my alarm system that acted up. So yes, I'll be using her again for sure. Already booked!”

“Lindsay was great! She cared for our pug Percy for 5 days and provided lovely updates. We had many communications before the sit and during - Lindsay is quick with texts and communicates clearly. We arrived home to a happy pup and everything in the house left clean and orderly. Big plus is she will take amazing photos of your pets! We would welcome Lindsay back any time!!”

“Bonnie came to visit before our trip so we could meet before we left. She sent a photo of the pets when she arrived and more photos each day we were gone. When we came home the house was as we left it and pets were happy. We never had to worry. We’ll definitely reach out to her first next time we need a pet sitter!”

“Addie was fantastic. She stayed at my home for 15 days watching Freddie and Purrl, and honestly the communication alone made the whole trip stress-free. She sent regular updates and photos, so I never had to wonder how they were doing — I just knew. Came home to two happy, well-cared-for animals and a house left in great shape. Addie was respectful of my space the entire time, which matters a lot when someone's living in your home. Would book her again without hesitation and highly recommend her to anyone who wants a sitter they can actually trust while they're away.”

“Sofia was great! I got cute pics of my girls when I was away and knew I didn’t need to worry about them. She left my house as clean as I left it, which I was so grateful for! Will for sure book with her again”

Woodland Heights pet parents share their Rover experiences
I couldn’t be happier with Justin! He took incredible care of my two Labs and went above and beyond—regular updates, photos throughout the day, and playtime. He’s punctual, trustworthy, and clearly experienced with dogs. My boys were relaxed and happy the entire time. I’ve already booked him for my next trip! Highly recommend—five stars!

Kiara has been incredibly reliable. She’s stepped in on short notice for walks and has also stayed overnight with my dog. She consistently provides updates and photos, which gives me great peace of mind knowing my dog is in excellent care. She also took great care of my home while I was away. I would absolutely trust Kiara to look after my girl again and highly recommend her to anyone looking for a dependable, attentive sitter.

Wanda did an amazing job getting my wary cats to warm up to her.....a true cat whisperer! She kept me informed of any issues (one of the cats threw up and the other one had a GI issue). The house was in excellent shape upon our return and everything was just as we left it. I would book her again in a heartbeat!
