About: All my life, I have been around dogs. I currently have a sweet boy, Winston, who is a Pit Mix. I’ve had several different dogs over the years and have assisted family and friends with pet care. I also have previous work experience with a pet boarding and grooming facility in Baton Rouge. From having experience in a professional setting and having experience caring for pets at home, I find the at home care to be much more comfortable for the pet- which is why I decided to register here! I love making the pets and their owners feel as comfortable as possible. A personal touch- I like to take funny/cute pictures of what we do and send them to you once I’ve completed the service! I currently have two dogs that I watch for my mother. When I am in town, this looks like walks every afternoon and evening, frequent play time, and feedings. She kindly welcomed us to an impromptu meet and greet which was very helpful for our two shih tzus, 0ne is over 15 yo, nearly deaf with vision loss, and his buddy was recently rescued from a breeding mill so he's learning about love, leash, harness, steps, toys, beds, security: everything in dog life. Josie and her service dog Saint share a wonderful energy which we appreciate. Our two pups do best in calm and they responded well to them. During their stay Josie provided exceptional communication with photos and updates which we appreciated even when we were unable to respond. Her love, patience and dedication to dogs are evident. I definitely recommend Josie and Saint and will request them again. Next time I think our little dogs would be more comfortable without a second large dog staying too. I have confidence in Josie managing several at a time, however ours can become unsettled by larger groups of dogs or people. Over time they may be able to feel more secure in them. Now, they are less sure. Josie handled any of their insecurities or fears well. She is very accommodating for their needs all around, including special allergy diets too. We are pleased to have met Josie and look forward to seeing Saint and her again. They are a pleasure.”

About: I’ve taken care of my brothers, friends, and family’s dogs periodically throughout the decades and have now personally had my own pup for going on 3 years. I make it a point to give each dog, whether it’s mine or someone’s else’s a fun and good life to live. A dormant unattended to dog bothers me to no end so your dog would be in not only great hands but hands that will actively pursue making your dad have the best day! I currently work weekends at the hospital so most of my week days are free and clear! I’m a natural night owl so being up late isn’t a problem either I live in a fenced/gated town home community with extremely friendly neighbors who all have dogs. We have a gated dog park for all the dogs to mingle and play as well as many parks and fields surrounding the home to where they can get exercise! Each dog will be directly cared for 1 on 1 with me in my townhome to ensure proper care

Rachel was available and able to help. So blessed and thankful to be able to do what I needed to do without worrying about him. He had fun, she fed him when he got hungry, and he slept until I got back. She sent updated pics too which eased my mind he was in great hands! What a blessing and lifesaver she is. The day typically starts around 8am in my household and schedule may vary depending on the needs of the animals in my home. I have a fenced in yard and designated dog room for crating animals while I am away. It is important to me that your animals safety is top priority, so when unsupervised they will be crated in a room designed for their comfort. About: All my life, I have been around dogs. I currently have a sweet boy, Winston, who is a Pit Mix. I’ve had several different dogs over the years and have assisted family and friends with pet care. I also have previous work experience with a pet boarding and grooming facility in Baton Rouge. From having experience in a professional setting and having experience caring for pets at home, I find the at home care to be much more comfortable for the pet- which is why I decided to register here! I love making the pets and their owners feel as comfortable as possible. A personal touch- I like to take funny/cute pictures of what we do and send them to you once I’ve completed the service! I currently have two dogs that I watch for my mother. When I am in town, this looks like walks every afternoon and evening, frequent play time, and feedings. I love to make sure they are happy- whether that’s running around outside, long play time, some chill TLC, or even a few extra treats ;)
