“Journey was very thorough, communicative, and kind to my fur babies. She took lots of super cute photos and I’m so glad I had her to watch them while I was away!”

“Cayla is an excellent dog sitter and you should not hesitate to book her! I can’t recommend her enough. She is kind and gentle with our dogs, she takes great care of our home during her stay, she stays in touch with photos and updates, and she even uses her dog-training expertise to teach our dogs new tricks and always works with them to improve any challenging behaviors. We have come back to happy and better-behaved dogs each time Cayla dog-sits. Thank you Cayla!!”
“Shelby tool care of our two cats while we were gone on vacation and she did a great job. She sent updates for everyday she checked in with our cats and she's very responsive and polite. Can't recommend her enough.”

“I asked Sara to help me socialize my adopted, shelter dog. So, instead of a typical drop in, I was present for the visit. Sara was very patient and friendly with my dog and she knew exactly how to interact with her (get down low, avoid eye contact, continously give her treats, and let my dog approach her while telling her what a good girl she is). I was so relieved that I didnt have to explain all of that to her. My dog is so loving and affectionate but is super slow to trust people, but she was taking treats out of Sara's hand immediately. I have asked her to come back, so my dog can get to know the same person before introducing her to more people. I am confident that her and my dog will become great friends.”

“Sarah has been absolutely amazing to work with!! She is very responsive, punctual, and keeps me updated with each check-in visit. It gives me so much peace of mind knowing my furry children are in such great hands. I would highly recommend her to anyone needing dependable and caring pet care!”

“Susan did a wonderful job taking care of my two kitties while I was away. She provided detailed daily feedback and pictures and truly went above and beyond and I am so thankful for her hard work taking care of my cats!”

“Jordan was absolutely amazing! I needed a last minute sitter to help me while I was in town and she answered me so quickly. Called and well and provided excellent care. It really gave me such a peace of mind!”

About: I have had pets my entire life (cats, dogs, ducks). I’ve taken care of many friends and family’s pets, from daily walks to over night stays. I have also had an anxious and reactive dog for the past 5.5 years, so I know how to adjust to an animals needs and make them happy and comfortable. I have open availability during mornings and afternoons for long walks, short/ long runs, hiking adventures, or sessions of fetch with your furry friends. Over night stays available with notice. I have an anxious dog in my home so I will only be able to do drop ins, walking, or overnight sitting at the clients home. I love to go on long walks with my dog, hikes, or runs (for the highly active pups).
“We love Nicole! She takes the best care of our shy kitties and our friendly outdoor kitties that she feeds when she is over as well. We know we can always rely on Nicole. I will recommend her to any one looking for a wonderful pet sitter.”

“Laura was awesome with our three dogs! All of them are in very different stages of their lives and Laura handled each with care. She was extremely attentive and made sure to log each visit accordingly. We were out of town for 6 days and the last thing we had to worry about was our pups. Definitely will rebook with her if we go out of town again and you should too! Laura, thanks from all of us! ? - Nala, Maru, Delilah, Nick and Nicole”

“Greg is a superstore. Great guy. Loves animals. And he even got my dog to like him and my dog doesn’t like ANYBODY… Except me, and now Greg. I’m sure Woody is looking forward to the next time and we are looking forward to the next time when we have to trust somebody with our 16-year-old four leggedroommate!”

“Destiny was the absolute best sitter I could’ve asked for! She was extremely communicative and attentive to our very shy and scared kitties. It was clear she cared for them as if they were her own, and she even won them over in the end! She also always provided thorough updates on our pets so we had some peace of mind while away from them. We will absolutely use Destiny in the future and highly recommend her.”

“Sydney was awesome with our crazy Doberman. She took him on walks everyday and always provided pictures and updates. She communicates well and is dependable. Would highly recommend!”

“Kari did a fantastic job checking up on my two cats while I was out of the country. She even took pics which I know is not an easy task with my cats…they’re either elusive or constantly moving. I wouldn’t hesitate to ask Kari for her services again in the future.”

“Cheyenne has watched my two kitties many times and has always gone above and beyond expectations! She is incredibly responsive and attentive to your pets needs and is a great trustworthy addition to your pets care. I would highly recommend her if you are in search of a sitter!”

“Sonja and Yolanda were great! I had a last minute overnight trip to a funeral and they gladly agreed to come look in on our two dogs. I did drop-in visits since our dogs are used to being at home, but will certainly consider an overnight with them when we have a need again. Thanks for taking care of our fur babies!”

Pet parents share their Rover experiences - Red Bank
We had a great experience with Katie when we were out of town for a week and she was stopping by the house 3x a day to look our three cats. We had no problems at all, she showed up when she said she would and sent enough updates to know everything was going well without overloading us. Next time we head on a trip, we will be happy to use her again.
Greg is awesome. He took such great care of my 13-year-old Staffordshire Terrier mix. I'm sure of it, not just because of the pictures of them playing ball, or snuggling on the couch, but because upon my return after a week away, she wasn't very excited to see me. That pretty much says it all. I know she'll be excited to see him again next time I leave town, which is all a dog parent really wants.
Kirstie is amazing! Felt very worry free while we were gone that Graves would be taken care of and happy. She took the time to really look after him for a hour a day which I know can be a lot. She even noticed my dying plant outside and watered it. I highly recommend Kirstie to look after your pets. She was thorough and communicative and will definitely hire again!

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your pet, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.

Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement sitter.
