I have special experience in the care of senior and disabled animals. I’m currently working part time, so for daytime care I will be available on week days before 9:00 am or from 4:30 pm onward. “This was our first time using Kimberly, we immediately took to her, and so did our pups. We felt completely comfortable, leaving her with our home are two dogs in our cat. She was timely, she was friendly and took her time with all of our animals, she sent plenty of pictures daily, and kept us a breast when certain things didn’t seem right. We have an elderly, blind, half deaf dog Who we rescued and was feeling very sad that we weren’t around. Kimberly picked up on this, let us know right away, and even took an additional trip to our house to go and just sit with Katy and comfort her to make her feel better about being alone in the house with the other two dogs and no humans. We would highly recommend her to anybody, she did a wonderful job, and allowed us the piece to enjoy our time away from home.”

About: I’ve had animals since I was a child. Caring for pets has been a constant and there are always more pets to care for in life. I thought this would be the perfect opportunity to get more active during the day or have some diversification in my day. If you’re sitting in an office chair from 8 to 5 this can really be a highlight! I am clean/ tidy and can keep to whatever schedule you have already set up for your pet. About: I used to volunteer at a local animal shelter. I took a course on animal handling, how to decrease frustration, anxiety and stress (FAS) for animals in the shelter, body language, how emotional health impacts an animal’s physical health, etc. I have a certificate in keeping a shelter Fear Free. My family and friends have relied on me in the past to dogsit their fur-babies. I have a large extended family with pets of all kinds, from German Shepard’s, Labradors and Cocker Spaniels, to mixed breeds and Tabby cats. Five of them are shelter rescues and one chihuahua-dashscund. For all of the animals I have taken care of, I came to their home so that the animals remained comfortable. I love all of my fur-babies, and I’m thankful that my family trusts me enough to take care of them while they’re away on vacation. Important Note: If you’re wanting to do more “meet and greets” after the first one in order for your pet to get more comfortable around me, I will be charging the same price as it would be for a drop-in (about $15 depending on the pet care). Another Important Note: I can give oral medication by putting it into their food. I can not, however, give it to the pet straight. My work schedule varies every week. However, I usually work from either 8:30 AM or 10 AM to 4 PM. I wouldn’t mind discussing the details in-person. My living situation does not allow me to petsit in my own home, however, I am able to petsit in my clients’ homes. When it comes to animals, I am very responsible. I take my job as a pet-sitter very seriously. I am able to give them any medications if needed at certain days and times, walk them, feed them, etc.

Joslynne met Indy before we left for our wedding, and had several drop in visits with the Indy where he grew more and more comfortable with her. By the end they were even playing fetch!
