About: Having grown up with dogs and cats, I’ve learned to work with different personalities. A house just doesn't feel like a home without at least one cuddly pet. My availability varies, depending on the time of year, but I do try to accommodate as much as I can. PS I have also helped care for goats & chickens, if your family has other pet needs...just ask. I am working mom, typically free after noon throughout the week. I am open to long term, set schedules, emergency drop ins, last minute needs. Just ask. I don't currently provide any boarding services. Please be aware of that before asking if I can bring your cat or dog to my home for care. Thank you for understanding.

I'm certified in Cat & Dog First Aid through the Red Cross and am experienced with senior pets, special needs pets, and energetic puppies. I'm a Rover Star Sitter and stay home during the day, allowing me to provide plenty of attention, supervision, and care for the pets I welcome into my home. My husband and I share our home with our two school age boys and our two friendly Mini Australian Shepherds, Baloo and Akela. We have a fully fenced backyard for safe outdoor play, potty breaks, and exercise, and I also offer walks around our quiet neighborhood. I accept a limited number of pets at a time so each guest receives plenty of individualized attention and care. Whether your pet is staying for boarding, daycare, a walk, or a drop-in visit, they'll be treated like family. About: I grew up with dogs and a cat, and often took neighborhood pet sitting jobs. I also worked with small animals on a local farm for several years, and currently live in a house with two dogs, who I help care for when their owners are away. Over the past six years or so, I’ve done pet and house sitting for various clients, and it’s been a fantastic experience! I look forward to meeting your pets and helping give you the time away you deserve! I work local to Chattanooga as a freelance editor and artist, so I’m able to work from anywhere! My schedule is flexible most days, so please don’t hesitate to reach out. I have plenty of experience caring for big dogs, small dogs, and cats, and am counting down the days until I’m able to have one of my own. Sadly, I’m not in a position to bring any pets home to my current residence, but that means I have lots of extra attention I can give to your pets while you’re away! Your routines and specific-to-you needs regarding your home and pets are important, and my goal is to make sure those needs are provided for. Whether you’re gone for the night on business or spending a week on vacation, don’t hesitate to reach out! I prioritize open communication, and you will receive regular updates while you’re away. Excited to hear from you!

I'm a college student in nursing school, so I'm responsible, attentive, and love to give love! I truly have a soft spot for all animals and treat every pet like my own. I’m currently working part-time, but I have a flexible schedule and can easily fit dog walks into my day. I’m available most days and can adjust to your pet’s needs. Since I focus on dog walking, I prioritize safety, patience, and building trust with every pet. I take time to make animals feel comfortable and pay attention to their behavior and needs. I’ll always follow your instructions carefully and make sure your pet is safe, happy, and well cared for during every walk.
About: I’ve grown up surrounded by animals of all kinds—dogs, cats, rabbits, sheep, goats, chickens, and turkeys! Caring for pets has always been second nature to me. I understand that every animal has its own personality and needs, and I love taking the time to make each one feel safe, happy, and loved while their people are away. 🐾 Pet care fits naturally into my routine—I plan my days around feeding, playtime, and cuddles. Most days I can check in within 6 hours, occasionally up to 8. Keeping pets happy, safe, and comfortable is always my top priority. I follow each pet’s routine closely, providing feeding, playtime, walks, and lots of attention. I keep the home safe and tidy, sending updates so owners know their pets are happy.

About: I have grown up with pets all my life and know first hand how pets are a part of the family. I have started dog sitting professionally the past two years for work friends and other connections and loved it! I work full time with a very flexible schedule! I can do drop ins during midday most days. I do have my own dog as well so home stays I'll need to be able to go back and forth! Previously, I’ve been asked to walk, feed, and take pets out! I love taking care of them, so I don’t mind doing the daily things a pet needs to be happy!
About: I have 16 years of experience caring for pets, whether it be my own personal pets, pet sitting for others pets and working in vet clinics- Most recently in an Er vet clinic! Before I became a stay at home mom I managed the front desk of an ER vet and helping triage serious to non serious visits. I also have roughly about 1 year of vet tech experience as well! I am currently a stay at home mom so I am able to help care for your furry family members any time of the day! At this time, home visits are what I offer due to having an infant! I will be there to feed, walk, play and care for your fur baby and give companionship and a sense of comfort while you are away in your pets safe space!
“Jade was wonderful! She was communicative, always on time, and flexible with our change of plans. She followed all the instructions/requests we had, and even took notes at our meet & greet to ensure that she didn’t forget anything. I definitely appreciated that. Our dog is very nervous around strangers, but he loved Jade and did great with her! She even left us some homemade treats for him, which he devoured! ! I highly recommend Jade & will be using her again in the future.”

“Ms Kimberly has been a Godsend. My pup is not very trusting and very protective of her “space”. Kimberly was able to manage the situation and get Tesse out for an afternoon break. It gave me peace of mind knowing that she was being well taken care of. Tesse and I are relocating and Kimberly provided video and advice to Tesse’s next Rover Pal. If you are looking for an experienced and confident Rover Pal, Kimberly is who you want.”

Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.
A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a walker. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your walker or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your walker questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and walkers on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.
Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement walker.
