My husband and I share our home with our two school age boys and our two friendly Mini Australian Shepherds, Baloo and Akela. We have a fully fenced backyard for safe outdoor play, potty breaks, and exercise, and I also offer walks around our quiet neighborhood. About: I have been around dogs all my life. All of the dogs and cats that my family and I had/have were found as strays and made part of the family. I would always help my parents take care of my neighbor’s dogs when they are away on vacation. This past fall, I dog sat and dog walked for a family before, during, and after they went on a cruise. I am good with young and old dogs, all sizes!! I grew up loving animals and have been fortunate enough to have cared for many different animals. I’ve cared for dogs, cats, fish, guinea pig, squirrels, and a few birds. In the fall of 2025, I fostered a bunny for 2 weeks and took it to adoption events. If I have the funds, I would have definitely kept it. 😂 I currently have 2 green anoles that I care for and love. Hi! I am Ami Masler. I’m from Memphis, TN and currently finishing up my undergraduate at the University of Tennessee at Chattanooga. I am majoring in Exercise and Health Science and hope to become an athletic trainer. Fun fact: I love playing volleyball. Like the information described under the “Pet Care Experience” prompt, I grew up with a variety of pets. Think of it like having an out-of-country farm if you will. I love being around animals, so obviously zoos and aquariums are my favorite places to visit apart from my parents’ house. Classes start up late August, so all dates up until then are open until booked. Once college classes start up again, my schedule will mostly stay the same, open. During the semester, I will have a tutoring job, but it shouldn’t have any effect on scheduling or anything like that. If there is a conflict, tutoring sessions can be moved. I always meet clients before I start any service to make sure that I am compatible with the cat or dog. After that, I make sure to follow what the client needs and wants for their pets. I give lots of attention when I’m not at work and make sure that they get all that they need.

About: I’ve taken care of my own dog for almost 17 years and I have also watched friends and family’s dogs and find much joy in doing it! I love learning about what makes each pet unique and what they love. I go on lots of walks in general so doing it with your loved and adorable dogs would make it that much better! At the end of the day, my goal is to make every owner’s life easier and keep their pets safe and happy! I am currently in college and playing softball but I have plenty of time between and after classes to walk and care for your pets! My main services that I will be providing are walking and drop-in visits! I live in an apartment so I cannot have pets in my own home but I’m open to going to someone else’s!
“Jade was wonderful! She was communicative, always on time, and flexible with our change of plans. She followed all the instructions/requests we had, and even took notes at our meet & greet to ensure that she didn’t forget anything. I definitely appreciated that. Our dog is very nervous around strangers, but he loved Jade and did great with her! She even left us some homemade treats for him, which he devoured! ! I highly recommend Jade & will be using her again in the future.”

About: I've grown up around animals and have been caring for pets since I was young. I've helped friends, family, and neighbors with pet sitting, feeding, walking, and giving pets attention while they're away. I'm comfortable with dogs of all sizes and love staying active, so walks and playtime are something I genuinely enjoy. I'm a college student in nursing school, so I'm responsible, attentive, and love to give love! I truly have a soft spot for all animals and treat every pet like my own. I’m currently working part-time, but I have a flexible schedule and can easily fit dog walks into my day. I’m available most days and can adjust to your pet’s needs. I’ll always follow your instructions carefully and make sure your pet is safe, happy, and well cared for during every walk.
“Kimberly has been wonderful with Tesse. I am very happy I found her through Rover. It gives me peace of mind that Tesse has an opportunity to be walked during the day and isn’t cooped up. Tesse apparently was a challenge. She was being protective of her space and wasn’t easily convinced Kimberly was friend or foe. Kimberly patiently worked with Tesse. Definitely a 5 stars rating is deserved.”

About: I grew up with multiple dogs and enjoy playing with and caring for neighbors’ and friends’ dogs as needed. I don’t own a dog at present but that’s only because a couple of our cats are really particular :) I’m flexible most of the time and willing to prioritize the care of your pet and would enjoy the chance to befriend your dog or cat. I am often called a pet whisperer and am happy to spend whatever time necessary to build trust with your furry friends so that I can provide the care they need in your absence.

I am currently not working and will have plenty of time to play with your pets! I will be open for boarding anytime except for Sunday I do not have a fenced yard but I have a safe house with plenty of yard space! The dogs will be kept in my garage and heat will be provided if necessary. Comfort will be present!
“Absolutely wonderful! She stopped by three days last week to walk Ella and did such a great job. She sent me tons of pictures and gave me updates every day, which I really appreciated and gave me peace of mind knowing Ella was being well taken care of. She was dependable, communicative, and clearly cared about Ella. I would definitely recommend her and would happily have her take care of Ella again!”

“April is a true animal lover. She is very reliable, responsible and kind to my dogs. I think they really like her. She sends good pictures and let's us know how the dog walking session went. I would highly recommend her.”

“Joslynne was great and very attentive to our dogs. My Boston doesn't deal well with the heat and Josylnne made sure to cut the walk short in order for her to not overheat. She also offered to clean up a plant that had fallen in the house. Very sweet! We will use again!”

Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.
A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a walker. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your walker or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your walker questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and walkers on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.
Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement walker.
