About: *Note for weekday availability: I work 9 hour shifts in Cleveland TN. Please only send week day requests if your pets can be left alone for long lengths of time.* Hi there! My name is Megan, and I’m a dedicated pet sitter with a lifelong love for animals of all kinds. I have cared for my own babies as well as friends for 13 years. I currently volunteer at a local shelter and am fear free certified. Whether your furry friend needs playtime, cuddles, or a reliable companion while you're away, I’m here to provide the care and attention they deserve. From energetic pups to shy kitties, and even small critters, I treat every pet like family. With me, you can rest assured that your beloved pet will be in loving, responsible hands. Let’s keep those tails wagging and whiskers twitching! I am available for check in and in home stays on the weekends only so I can dedicate all my time to your pet. Some weekday availability on an emergency basis. When you trust me with your pet, their safety is my top priority. I take every precaution to ensure a secure, stress-free environment while caring for your furry friend. Here’s how I prioritize safety in your home: ✅ Home Awareness: I carefully follow any home security instructions, ensuring doors are locked, alarms are set, and your pet stays safely inside. ✅ Pet-Proofing: I check for potential hazards, such as open doors, unsafe foods, or small objects that could be swallowed. ✅ Leash & Outdoor Safety: I use secure leashes and harnesses on walks and stay alert to surroundings, avoiding unsafe areas or unfamiliar animals. ✅ Emergency Preparedness: I familiarize myself with your pet’s vet information and have a plan in case of emergencies. ✅ Routine & Supervision: I stick to your pet’s feeding, medication, and exercise routines, providing constant supervision and care. With me, your pet and home are in responsible, caring hands. Safety, love, and trust—every time!

About: I bring over a decade of experience caring for pets, fueled by a lifelong love for animals and professional expertise as a wildlife biologist. Growing up with animals, I developed a deep understanding of their needs and behaviors. Over the years, I’ve cared for a wide variety of pets, from playful puppies to senior dogs needing extra attention and care. One of my proudest accomplishments is training my husky puppy—a breed known for its independence—to be off-leash, a process that required patience, consistency, and a strong bond of trust. I’ve also worked extensively with other dogs on leash training, obedience, and building confidence, always tailoring my approach to suit each dog’s unique personality. In addition, I’ve cared for a dog with epilepsy for four years, which involved administering daily medication and providing specialized care to ensure their comfort and well-being. As a field biologist, I’ve even taken animals into the field, ensuring they were safe, comfortable, and happy in new and dynamic environments. These experiences have taught me to anticipate and meet animals’ needs while providing attentive, loving care. Whether it’s long walks, playtime, or maintaining specific training and care routines, I’m dedicated to making every pet feel secure and loved. I understand how important it is to trust someone with your furry family member, and I’m here to provide reliable, compassionate care while you’re away! I’m currently working during the week so am only available for weekend house-sitting stays. If you need a weekend away though, I’m your gal! Whether it’s taking them on enriching walks, stopping by for check-ins, or providing some much-needed companionship while you’re away, I’m here to ensure they feel happy, cared for, and loved in your absence. I prioritize safety, trust, and creating a comfortable environment for every pet I care for. My services are designed to meet your pet's needs in the place they feel most at ease: their own home or familiar surroundings during a walk. When visiting your home, I ensure your pet feels secure and loved by sticking to their established routines, whether that’s meal times, playtime, or a favorite walking route. I also take the time to build trust, so your pet feels relaxed and happy in my care. For walks, I tailor the experience to your pet’s energy level and personality, providing plenty of exercise, stimulation, and, of course, affection. My goal is to make every visit or outing stress-free and enjoyable for your pet, giving you peace of mind while you're away.

About: Hi! Thank you for checking out my profile. I’m pretty new to Rover after taking a break but I’ve been caring for pets on my own for about 10 years now. I’ve always had pets in my life from dogs, cats, lizards, fish, frogs, crabs, etc! I have a huge passion for animals and would love to help out in any way I can. I have worked at Pet Paradise Chattanooga since March 2023 and have loved every second of it. Getting paid to love on dogs has to be one of the greatest opportunities life can give. On top of this, I’m currently in school studying animal health and behavior! I’m also fear free shelter program graduated and certified. I have experience caring for dogs, cats, lizards, frogs, fish, crabs, hamsters, rabbits, guinea pigs, gerbils, hedgehogs and birds! I hope you can lend me your trust in ensuring your fur babies (or not so furry babies) stay safe, healthy, and happy! I’m currently a full time student with all my classes online. I’m available pretty much any time of the day (unless something comes up). My work schedule tends to be busier during the holiday season but my usual hours are 9-5 on weekends and the occasional 4-8 during the week after class. All pets are different therefore care for each and every pet will be specifically catered towards them and their needs. Active babies will receive lots of playtime to blow off that extra steam and the not so active babies will get lots of loving and attention!
