Safety, trust & environment
I think keeping your pet’s schedule and following their routines is the most important part of keeping them happy when you’re gone. I know how stressful it can be to leave your pets, so regular photos and check ins are never a problem!
Information Laura S. would like to know about your pet
I think it’s important to know how your pet will react to me coming into the home without you. If they’re fearful or unsure, knowing what makes them feel comfortable like treats or entering the house a certain way will help them be comfortable and confident.
A typical day
I believe in keeping your pet’s schedule as close to what they’re used to as possible to help them feel safe and comfortable. Whether that’s long fetch play, walks through the neighborhood, hikes or cuddling on the couch.

Pet care experience
I’ve been fortunate to have the chance to care for dogs, cats and farm animals throughout my life. I volunteered at a local animal shelter for four years, walking dogs and socializing cats. I also was a dog foster for the animal shelter for two years, fostering over two dozen dogs ranging from a pug to a Great Dane, and every type of dog in-between. This gave me of experience with dogs from different backgrounds, temperaments and confidence levels. I currently have five dogs of my own, and I’ve attended obedience training and agility training with them. I believe in positive reinforcement and meeting each dog where they’re at.
