I’ve been rescuing animals since I could talk: dogs, cats, Guinea pigs, lizards, turtles, anything with a pulse lol. I am a veterinary social worker with a passion in the animal human bond. I have recently started training to be a dog trainer. I have experience working with high energy dog breeds, puppies, kittens, and senior animals. Many of the skills that I use as a therapist are transferable to training and bonding with animals. It’s so exciting to connect the information I know about humans with working with animals.

I cannot recommend Destiny highly enough. From the moment I first met her, I could immediately tell she had a warm, gentle, and genuinely kind spirit—the exact calm, reassuring energy I knew my anxious dog needed. Leaving a nervous pet in someone else’s care is never easy, but Destiny put all my worries to rest right away. She has an intuitive, patient approach to animals, understanding how to meet them at their own pace without pushing boundaries. Under her watchful and affectionate care, my dog felt completely safe, comfortable, and settled. Destiny is dependable, communicative, and truly attentive to every little routine and detail. It is rare to find someone who combines true professionalism with such heartfelt compassion. Anyone would be extraordinarily lucky to have Destiny care for their four-legged family member, and I wouldn't hesitate to book her again in a heartbeat!
Destiny was a great sitter. She sent updates and pictures and it looked like my dog was very happy. She took great care of my pup.
Destiny was fantastic! Communication was great, and we got daily updates/pictures of our dog. We were confident our pup was in great hands while we were away. We will definitely be using her again 😊.

Excellent communication, comfortable, clean, and safe space! Destiny is exactly who we were looking for for our high-energy terrier. She was already familiar with the training tools and techniques we got from his trainers, and understood his breed characteristics & needs. She introduced him to her own pets intentionally, and by the time we picked him up, he was clearly comfortable and happy with her. So pleased to have someone knowledgeable who I can trust with our VERY terrier terrier.

Schedule
I work full time as a therapist and am gone for about 3-4 hours at a time. After 3-4 hours I come home to check on all animals. Weekends I am completely open. The day typically starts around 8am in my household and schedule may vary depending on the needs of the animals in my home.

Safety, trust & environment
I have a fenced in yard and designated dog room for crating animals while I am away. It is important to me that your animals safety is top priority, so when unsupervised they will be crated in a room designed for their comfort. I have 2 friendly pups who have been through professional training & one cat who minds his own business. I have the ability to separate your animals from other animals if needed. I can accommodate various needs.
