“Kristen is incredible! She was so flexible to our schedule when we needed help. She sent pictures, was genuine and so nice. Her, her husband and her fun dogs made us excited to send roux to them.”

“Oh my gosh! Pam is amazing with Jack. She really makes him feel at home and comfortable and that makes me feel so grateful. Jack is such a good soul and deserves lots of love and attention, which we found in Pam. Than you Pam!”

“Andrew was great! Flexible, communicative, and totally trustworthy with Benji. We will use him again as our dog sitter very soon! Our new regular, when scheduling allows.”

“Nancy and her family were incredible sitters for our dog Mango. Right after we dropped her off, Nancy told me that she worked to familiarize Mango with the new place by walking her around the parameter of the home. I felt that was very thoughtful! She was very communicative throughout the stay. I'd give 10 stars if I could!”

“Major, our Shih Tzu, needs a little extra TLC. So we are very happy that Rachel was available to take care of him for our vacation. She made sure he got all the attention an older dog needs. She sent daily pictures and updates and gave Major his special diet and lots of love.”

“If there was a way to leave 10 STARS I would. Kaylyn was great with my toy poodle. I got pictures and videos of my dog enjoying her days playing, relaxing on the couch, and having a lazy day sunning. Ginger was just as comfortable and happy with her as she is at home. I had no worries or concerns and was able to enjoy my vacation. I will be using Kaylyn again, it’s home away from home. Thank you!”

“Will & Jillian were great with Rosie and were great about sending pictures and communicating with us while we were away! We will definitely use them again in the future!”

“Elaina took such great care of our Stella! She consistently sent updated pictures and videos of Stella and provided daily updates on her well-being. Stella received lots of loving attention just like at her home. We felt happy that Stella acted and looked very happy in every pic that was sent. Stella came back clean, and calm seemed to be so relaxed. We will be using Elaina again!! Great backyard for an active dog like Stella. She seemed to have made a new friend with "Bug", their dog and their sweet two-year-old daughter.”

“Jonathan took excellent care of my dog. It was his first time being boarded since I adopted him and he was very nervous. Jonathan waited until he was ready to interact and earned his trust. He bathed him. He sent pictures to let me know he was OK. I will definitely use Jonathan to board Little Man the next time I have to travel.”

“Brittany did a great job while we were out of town! She took very good care of Homer and even got out of her way to replace Homer’s bed after another pup got too rambunctious! Thank you so so much!!”

“Crystal was so caring and loving to our little Marley! She and her family gave him lots of snuggles and attention during his visit. She was also flexible with drop off and pick up which is really helpful because I fly for work which can lead to delays. Already looking forward to our next visit!”

“Joy was absolutely wonderful. She did everything she said she would do. We felt at ease about our baby during the entire stay with her. We are so grateful and we would recommend her to anyone. Thanks again, Joy.”

“Lucy had a terrific time with Giulia and her husband. We regularly received numerous photos each day. We highly recommend Giulia for your dog's next stay. We will definitely be using her again in the future.”

“We had an excellent experience boarding with Jaxen! She was extremely flexible with us on drop off due to unforeseen circumstances. She has a very nice kennel house that was clean and spacious for the dogs and a large yard for them to run around in throughout the day! She sent us pictures of Ranger playing and he had a big smile on his face, so I’m sure he enjoyed his stay. Thank you!!”

Pet parents share their Rover experiences - Harrison
Christina and Brent have almost 600 reviews from happy parents of 4 legged bundles of joy that they have taken into their home. Well, this is one more 5 star review! I was met with smiles and warmth when I dropped the pups off last Thursday. By the time I rounded the first corner after leaving their house, I just knew Zoe & Oscar were in good hands. These two crave human attention and I felt quite sure they got an abundance. Zoe gave Christina a hug when we picked them up today. That was proof enough for me that we made the right decision by sending them to “Camp” Christina & Brent. I would definitely recommend these folks to take care of your sweet pups. Thanks so much!

If I could, I would leave 10 stars! ⭐️ ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Joslynne accepted my request to care for my pup on very short notice. The handoff was seamless, communication was excellent, the updates and photos were perfection. I did not worry a single moment about my pup, Macie. I cannot recommend Joslynne enough! Thank you!

We had our first extended stay with Juanyale, and I couldn’t be happier with the care she provided for my two puppies, Sir and Nala. From the beginning, she was communicative, attentive, and patient. I appreciated receiving updates throughout their stay and being able to check in on how they were doing. It gave me peace of mind knowing they were being cared for while I was away. What I appreciated most was that she took the time to learn their individual personalities. Sir settled in well and she kept me informed about how he was doing. Nala is much more expressive and takes longer to adjust to new environments, and I appreciated her patience and honesty in sharing how Nala was acclimating during the stay. When I picked them up, they were safe, healthy, and clearly well cared for. As a dog parent, it’s not easy leaving your babies for several days, but she made the experience much easier and gave me confidence that they were in good hands. I would absolutely book with her again and highly recommend her to anyone looking for a caring, responsible, and communicative sitter.

Cheryse and her family are our go-to sitters! The whole family is super great with our two dogs (one who loves people and one who is fearful/vocal). She always sends lots of pictures and our dogs get a ton of play, attention, and love from her and her children! Can’t recommend Cheryse enough :)

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your pet, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Every sitter on Rover is required to pass a background check before listing their services. This process confirms their identity and indicates they are not on the Department of Justice’s National Sex Offender Public Website or have any disqualifying offenses.
Beyond ID checks, you can review each sitter's star rating, read verified reviews from other pet parents, and see how many repeat clients they have. Every booking is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care. For more details, visit Rover's Trust & Safety page .
While each sitter sets their own vaccine requirements, staying up-to-date on your dog’s vaccines is the best way to be "boarding ready". Vaccinations help create a safe environment for all pets under a sitter’s care.
Many sitters in TN ask that dogs be up to date on core vaccines like the Canine Parvovirus, Canine Distemper, Canine Adenovirus, Bordetella, and Rabies. Cats may be required to have Feline Viral Rhinotracheitis and Rabies up to date.
By discussing your pet's health history early, you’re adding a layer of confidence for you and your sitter before the booking begins.
Emergency support is available by phone or email in English 24/7. When an incident occurs, we recommend that sitters contact our Trust & Safety team immediately so that they can connect your sitter with a board-certified veterinarian or offer other resources to help.
If a sitter needs to cancel at the last minute, Rover’s reservation protection means our team will work with you to find a suitable replacement as quickly as possible.
