“I was very impressed with how well Terry took care of Buster. You could tell she really loves animals. He loved being with her! She took him for walks and spent a lot of time with him on her back porch. She asked lots of questions to ensure Buster was getting everything he needed. She continually sent me little messages about their day and adorable photos. I will definitely use her as a sitter again. Thank you so much Terry!”

“As always Justin is THE man to care for your pet. Bear comes back happy and tired every time. Just recently took Bear and his buddies for a beach trip. I had no stress about sending Bear to another state, Justin always sends pictures, updates, and makes sure they have a safe but fun time.”

“Jay is the highest quality type of sitter and provides exceptional service and care for your pups and his. He's very thorough and knowledgeable and an excellent communicator. Easy to work with and very accommodating. I can't say enough good about them!”

“Jaime was fantastic! She took such great care of Crosley. Constant updates and pictures made me feel relaxed and comfortable knowing he was in good hands. Crosley will definitely be visiting her again! I can’t recommend her enough!”

“I always get worried about leaving my GSD because he’s a GSD and a little high strung sometimes. With Emily and Samuel I didn’t have to worry at all. He was in great hands and I received pictures and updates. I felt like he was in great hands while I was away. 10/10 would highly recommend and will definitely book with them again!”

“Jonathan kept my dog really well. We went away for 20 days, and I always felt confident that Watson was well looked after. When I picked my dog up he couldn't believe I still existed. He'd completely adjusted to his new life;) We'll happily use Jonathan again, and I'd recommend him to anyone.”

About: All my life, I have been around dogs. I currently have a sweet boy, Winston, who is a Pit Mix. I’ve had several different dogs over the years and have assisted family and friends with pet care. I also have previous work experience with a pet boarding and grooming facility in Baton Rouge. From having experience in a professional setting and having experience caring for pets at home, I find the at home care to be much more comfortable for the pet- which is why I decided to register here! I love making the pets and their owners feel as comfortable as possible. A personal touch- I like to take funny/cute pictures of what we do and send them to you once I’ve completed the service! I currently have two dogs that I watch for my mother. When I am in town, this looks like walks every afternoon and evening, frequent play time, and feedings. I love to make sure they are happy- whether that’s running around outside, long play time, some chill TLC, or even a few extra treats ;)
“Denita always does a great job. She watched our dog Barnabas and he was worn out from playing with her other dog. He had a blast. She does a great job at making you feel comfortable leaving your dog with her. She keeps you updated and sends cute pictures. Her and her husband and very friendly. We will definitely keep booking her for our trips in the future.”

“Malia was great with our two dogs - one a senior that required meds. They were happy and well taken care of for a week while we were out of town. Malia sent several pics and updates! Will definitely use her again.”

“Taylor [& her husband] were amazing! They took such great care of my dog / 2-year-old puppy! And their dog Maggie was lovely too. I know Archie had a fabulous time as after I picked him up in the morning - he literally napped all day! I will definitely have Archie stay with them again!”

“Maverick loved his stay with Christina! He has been napping ever since he got home which is an excellent sign that he had plenty of play time! Christina is extremely detailed oriented. She was the only pet sitter I've used that actually reached out to ask about the bone and joint supplement I put in Mavericks bag and what time of day to give it to him since I didn't mention it initially when dropping him off. It showed her level of commitment to each dog that stays with her. I 100% trust her to watch my pup. We will be using her again!”
“Clyde had another successful stay with Tatiana and Kairo. The plus is she came through last minute when my original sitter cancelled, and I was in a slight panic. There’s nothing like feeling peace when you travel out of the country and know your furry child is in good hands. Gosh, arriving at Tatiana’s place, Clyde was even trying to push open the door in excitement. I love that he feels safe and at home when he’s with them. And, it was good to know she handled his anxiety well during a bad storm. We will definitely book Tatiana again!”

About: I’ve taken care for animals since I was 9 years old from dogs to cats to even reptiles. My family, neighbors and past coworkers have relied on me for top notch pet care. I can care for your pet throughout the weekend for that extra time off. During the week day i am in school and can do only half the day from 3 pm or 4 pm to 11pm. I have a a big fenced in yard for dogs with a lot of energy to a personal cat palace for your cats run and jump around.
“Alora took great care of Dude! She sent several pictures and an update daily that showed her kids playing with Dude and taking him for walks. I have no doubt that he was taken well care of during our vacation. I would recommend Alora to w.”

“Brittany came through in the clutch - I have a large ridgeback with separation anxiety that I cannot trust with most dog sitters, and Brittany was able to provide him the care and connection he needed for a safe and successful stay. He had a ton of fun playing in the yard and getting human attention and affection. Great experience and I’ve already booked Brittany again for sitting during an upcoming event. She was great with communication, pictures, and updates about the stay. Highly recommend!”

“The dogs are absolutely exhausted after their stay with Joslynne! We received updates and happy pictures.... especially when puppuccinos were involved! Joslynne had super sweet pups herself and was able to give them all endless love.”

Pet parents share their Rover experiences - Rossville
Maggie suggested a meet and greet - our golden doodle, Daisy, with her golden doodle, Enzo. It went well, Daisy was a little testy due to the attention but very shortly both calmed down. I could tell that Maggie was special after talking with her - she truly has her "guest" doggies happiness in mind. She has a fenced back yard, takes walks in the neighborhood with them, and sends photos. We were very happy with Maggie, and beautiful Enzo, and will use them again in the future.
Terezie was great! She gave daily updates and pictures. She had a nice space for my kitty and treated her with care. She was extremely accommodating especially when I was having car issues, she’s so kind. You can tell she wants to help and make things easier. Would definitely recommend and book again! Thank you Terezie!

Ziggy had a great time with Katlyn and her dog moonpie! I felt so comfortable leaving him there, and she was so great with him, especially since he was recently adopted and is still learning and adapting to all the changes, but she was so sweet and helpful with that! I loved that she was there with him all the time since he prefers that. I will definitely use her again!

Jenn was fantastic with our pup Ginny. Very patient and kind. We got daily updates while we were gone with pictures and some details about how everything was going. We were thankful to know she was in good hands and that we had nothing to worry about on our trip. Thank you again Jenn!

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your pet, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Every sitter on Rover is required to pass a background check before listing their services. This process confirms their identity and indicates they are not on the Department of Justice’s National Sex Offender Public Website or have any disqualifying offenses.
Beyond ID checks, you can review each sitter's star rating, read verified reviews from other pet parents, and see how many repeat clients they have. Every booking is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care. For more details, visit Rover's Trust & Safety page .
While each sitter sets their own vaccine requirements, staying up-to-date on your dog’s vaccines is the best way to be "boarding ready". Vaccinations help create a safe environment for all pets under a sitter’s care.
Many sitters in GA ask that dogs be up to date on core vaccines like the Canine Parvovirus, Canine Distemper, Canine Adenovirus, Bordetella, and Rabies. Cats may be required to have Feline Viral Rhinotracheitis and Rabies up to date.
By discussing your pet's health history early, you’re adding a layer of confidence for you and your sitter before the booking begins.
Emergency support is available by phone or email in English 24/7. When an incident occurs, we recommend that sitters contact our Trust & Safety team immediately so that they can connect your sitter with a board-certified veterinarian or offer other resources to help.
If a sitter needs to cancel at the last minute, Rover’s reservation protection means our team will work with you to find a suitable replacement as quickly as possible.
