I’m home full time with my two school age boys, so I’m able to give plenty of love and attention to every pet I care for. From morning potty breaks and walks to evening snuggles, your pup is part of our daily routine. We go on neighborhood walks, enjoy playtime, and keep you updated with photos along the way. Your pet will feel like part of the family while you’re away! 🐾

Ideally, I prefer a meet and greet beforehand to make sure everyone is comfortable. However, I’m flexible, if we chat and I feel confident your pet will do well in my care, we can work something out. If your pet is crate trained and uses one regularly, feel free to bring it along to help them feel at home. I also ask that pets are up to date on vaccines and flea treatments. Please share their routine, personality, and any special needs so I can care for them like my own! To provide the best care when boarding or sitting, I typically care for a select few at a time, ensuring each one gets plenty of love, attention, and personalized care.
A typical day
We start the morning with potty breaks, breakfast, and a little playtime. During the day, pets enjoy walks, cuddle time, and relaxing in a calm home environment. I keep routines consistent with what they’re used to, with evening meals, more play, and plenty of love before bedtime. Regular check ins and updates are always included!

Hi, I'm Alora! I'm a lifelong animal lover with experience caring for dogs, cats, birds, rabbits, ferrets, goats, pigs, and chickens. I'm certified in Cat & Dog First Aid through the Red Cross and am experienced with senior pets, special needs pets, and energetic puppies. I'm a Rover Star Sitter and stay home during the day, allowing me to provide plenty of attention, supervision, and care for the pets I welcome into my home. My husband and I share our home with our two school age boys and our two friendly Mini Australian Shepherds, Baloo and Akela. We have a fully fenced backyard for safe outdoor play, potty breaks, and exercise, and I also offer walks around our quiet neighborhood. I accept a limited number of pets at a time so each guest receives plenty of individualized attention and care. Whether your pet is staying for boarding, daycare, a walk, or a drop-in visit, they'll be treated like family. I'll keep you updated with photos and messages throughout their stay so you can have peace of mind while you're away.

Alora instantly made us feel comfortable leaving our precious fur son in her families care. This was our first Rover experience and she went above and beyond expectation from quick communication, consistent updates with photos, and even sent us home with adorable instax photos of our baby and treats for him. Alora is incredibly thoughtful and I truly felt like she cared for our pup like her very own. She asked important questions and took the time to ensure our pup would be a good fit for safety and comfort. She was understanding of our dog's behavior needs and highly capable of managing them. Our pup came back to us with a calm, happy demeanor and clearly enjoyed his time with Alora and her family!
It was very comforting to have Alora ck in on Sadie while we had time out for a bit. They had a fun time and everything was cleaned up! Would def have her again
