About: What sets me apart? You'll have to tell me that since I'm just beginning my pet sitting journey. I suppose I would say, I am calm, mellow, laid back, and that sets pets at ease. I have administered medication, I'm very efficient and clean about litter clean up and will follow dietary guidelines directed by you. We can play with toys or I can give a nice brushing or I can just sit with them and take a nap. Speaking of naps.. I work a split shift on Signal but live in Pikeville. It makes no sense for me to drive home in between shifts. (I know it's crazy, but it works for my family.) That means I am trying to find something to do with myself, or more importantly a warm enough or cool enough location to spend my 4.5 hour break each day. If my limited availability, (weekdays between 9:30am and 1:30pm,) will work for you, and I am welcome to make myself comfortable in your home, (use a bathroom, sit on a comfortable chair and put my feet up, or betteryet, lie down and take a nap,) I won't charge you for care at all. We'll be exchanging my need for a place to rest with your need for someone to check on your pet. It makes sense in my head. I respect if you think it's crazy. But hopefully you'll remember me if you can't find anyone who's available for that random day when you need someone to drop in.

About: I’ve had pets since I was a baby, and currently own a pug myself! I used to volunteer as well at an animal clinic before becoming a nurse. Now I’m a SAHM to three (not fur) babies and would love to give dedicated care to yours with fur! I am a SAHM of three kiddos! One is a baby, and the others are 3 and 4. “Rachel is a great sitter. I left my pup with her on two occasions - once for a weekend and another for an 8 day trip. She did an amazing job with her and I could tell my dog had a great time. She sends daily updates and photos which is greatly appreciated. More importantly Rachel is super understanding and was able to be flexible with me when my return flight was delayed and cancelled. I will definitely keep using her as my sitter anytime we go out of town - 10/10 would recommend!”
