About: I'm not sure if this sets me apart from anyone on this site but, I love dogs. My family loves dogs. We have had them in our lives for our entire lives, some shorter for shorter spurts than others. One thing I found out from each gifted moment was that dogs are not just there to own. They are there for us as much as we are for them sometimes more. We offer a family setting full of love and joy, pets and snuggles. My wife is a certified dog instructor who has worked for rover in the past. I loved doing it so much I wanted to take it back up! Pet care can be implemented at any point throughout the day. I can take them for regularly scheduled walks if necessary upon availability (to avoid double bookings) I have a fully 6 ft privacy fenced yard (60×85). We have many dog toys we have retained from previous loved ones and two energetic children that love to run and play. Comfy surfaces everywhere.

About: Hello, I grew up with cats and dogs. May fur babies have always had a special place in my heart and home. In college I would watch my friends dogs ?pro-bone-o ? ( humor not extra!) I used to have a 70 pound Australian cattle dog/ Red Pointer mix. I discovered Rover and realized I could make a little extra income. As a pet parent myself I know what it feels like to be away from your baby. Whether you are away from home just for the day or on an overnight trip you can be sure that your fur babies are taken care of :) I am currently on a sabbatical so I will have plenty of time for your fur baby’s. My availability is flexible so I hope I can fit your needs. Safety is very important to me, so if you have a specific instructions please let me know and I will do my best to follow them.

About: I have always loved being around dogs! I had a pup in my family for about 5 years when I was younger. Other than him I enjoy my family and friend’s dogs. I love taking them out for potty breaks and walks. I have house/dog sat multiple times for my family members. Treats are my love language and I never mind cleaning up accidents! I currently work full time but I get done with my days around noon. My schedule can be flexible if I get noticed ahead of time. I also travel for work. It’s not often but I will give a good heads up! Dogs will always be on a lease with me, unless trusted in a dog park. I take child and others safety seriously when it comes to public interactions.

About: I have taken care of many animals in my life; dogs, cats, Guinea pigs, hamsters, geckos, bearded dragons, frogs, turtles, fish, and more. I am also very good at taking care of senior animals or animals with special attention in general as I have lots of experience with picky eaters, sensitive diets, allergies, and medication. I am also CPR certified for dogs and cats in the case of an emergency. I am a very clean individual so I will keep your home neat while also providing loving care for your pet. I care deeply for all animals and can assure that your pets needs will be put first above everything else! I understand that schedules are tricky to maneuver so I am able to work whenever I am needed as long as I don’t have another pet care gig at the same time. I am very good at matching energy with animals so I can play with them for hours or take them on long walks if they are energetic or simply sit around with them with shorter walks if they are older. I am also really good at following directions so if you have special instructions for your pet, I will follow them perfectly! Otherwise I will use my knowledge on animals to assure that your pet is happy and healthy the entire time you’re gone!

About: I have had professional animal care training at Stone Mountain Pet Lodge as a part of the Activity Staff. This included walking, playing, feeding, and cleaning the dogs temporary home! I’m a college kid who’s home for the summer so I will have plenty of time to take care of your pet friendly needs! :) I tend to the needs of the dog while maintaining a safe and respectful attitude. I look out for the safety of the dog first.

About: As an adult I’ve adopted 3 dogs and fostered another 3. Puppies to seniors, a 10 lb chihuahua to a 70 lb shepherd mix. I have a fully fenced yard that is great for dogs! (Assuming they can’t climb over a 4 ft fence; if they can I usually hook the dog onto a very long tether so they have room to roam but not make an escape over the fence). My lot is about .43 acres and is more long and narrow than square so it gives a lot of room to run for games of fetch. I’m a huge lover/sucker for a good pupper dog but don’t currently have any pets of my own because I’ve been on a travel kick the past year. Signing up for Rover kills two birds with one stone for me because I can get my animal fix with other people’s pets and make some extra money for travel. I work fully remote from my house so that enables me to give potty breaks as often as needed, however, depending on my meeting schedule certain days I may not be able to take on dogs who bark excessively because they could disrupt my work calls. I don’t have a ton of experience with cats though I did live with my ex-husband’s cat for 7 yrs. We briefly had two cats because a stray who was an exact look-a-like for our cat showed up on our doorstep once and I assumed it was our cat and that she had gotten outside and let the stray in 🤣 At the time we already had 2 dogs and a cat and a ton of fish so we kept the stray only until we found a new home for him. I work a lot of hours for my day job but my hours are fairly flexible since my company is 2 hrs behind in Seattle, and I work fully from home, so I am confident I’ll have the bandwidth to take care of pets in my home or can go over my lunch break to other people’s homes to look in on their pets. I have a fully fenced yard, a crate of necessary, and a fair number of toys to keep them entertained. My son also loves pets and I’m sure will go nuts wanting to play with any animals that are around. My son is almost 8 and has a lot of experience with animals. Obviously my son’s safety is paramount for me so when he is staying with me I’ll only be interested in boarding animals that are good with children.

About: I grew up always having a dog and have been watching others’ dogs since early high school. Neighbors, friends, and family have entrusted me to walk, feed, and comfort their pets while away. I have experience watching multiple dogs at a time and caring for a wide variety of breeds, sizes, and energy levels. I do have experience caring for elderly dogs as well as dogs who need insulin shots, topical medication, or oral medications. I, in particular, love to care for and support dogs who may be feeling anxious when their family is gone. I’m available weekdays and weekends by request. Depending on the needs of your pets, I can be available for quick, frequent trips or longer extended stays. My favorite part of caring for animals is getting to know their personality, their preferences, and needs. With your guidance, I will accommodate their care to make sure they feel as loved and safe as possible. For walking dogs, I always use a leash but am also comfortable watching them roam in a private, fenced-in area. All animals deserve a dependable and loving caregiver while their loved ones are gone, and I’d be honored to be one that you and your pets can trust.

About: I love dogs and have had a dog most of my life, growing up and as an adult! I grew up with a smaller dog (Shit Zhu). Currently I have 2 dogs which are medium to large size, Lab mix-14 y.o. and Labrdoodle-7 y.o. We are an active family and spend a lot of time outside. I have 2 teenage kids age 13 and 15. They are also dog lovers and are very helpful with pet care. If needed, the kids can give your pet space too. I have good awareness of pet behaviors, can read your dog’s comfort level and can provide space as needed. We would love to host your dog at a nurturing and calm environment with plenty of walks! I currently work full time daytime hours in healthcare. I have 2 kids who are around before and after school most days to visit with dogs and let them out. I own a home with a tie out for bathroom breaks. Dogs will also get regular walks and playtime in the home with my 2 friendly dogs and my active family! I only take one Rover guest at a time but if you have 2 dogs in your family that both need care, please ask. Exceptions may be made.

About: I have grown up with cats and dogs my whole life. My fiance, Vince, and I absolutely love animals and think they deserve the best life possible. Since I was 10 I have pet sat for other family members and friends/neighbors. My fiance grew up loving on his family dog! I am currently working as a teacher, however my routine after work is pretty consistent. I come home and hang out. I have the summers off or work part time and have much more flexibility. My fiance works from home some days and works in the office other days, giving him the flexibility to be home/let your pet out more often. We have a nice front/side yard and a deck for your pet to enjoy sitting outside. There are walking paths right near us that we love to take long walks on. We enjoy taking walks with dogs and snuggling up on the couch with pets giving them all the love and affection.
