“Karley is amazing!! I was really sceptical about using a dog walking service. Something about letting someone you don't know in your home. I contacted Karley and she was quick to respond with her availability. We set up a day for her to meet Takota. Takota seemed very comfortable. Karley is great at communication. She let me know when she arrived, how Takota did during her walk, and when Karley left. She even sent pictures. I will definitely use Karley again. She is a life saver. Thanks Karley!!”

About: After working at 2 vet clinics while going to Carrington college for their vet tech program I was almost able to finish my degree. However I injured my wrists at the same time working at Starbucks. So since then I decided to hone my dog training skills and trained my own service dog using balanced training methods. I've watched hundreds of hours of videos and applied what I learned. My schedule revolves around dogs and cats. When not doing rover I work for a doggy daycare less hours than part time. I will do my best to keep my schedule up to date with it. As of right now I am called in as needed so I can request time off if a booking is made. My yard is fenced with a thick wall that is at least 6 feet high. I also have part of it lined in playpens to section off the dog part.

“Thanks for caring for our little ones. We’d def love to rebook with you.”

About: I've been caring for dogs of all sizes and personalities since I was a child—everything from energetic Chihuahuas to strong and loyal Rottweilers. I understand that every dog has their own unique needs, and I’m committed to providing loving, attentive care every time I walk or look after your furry family member. You can trust that your pup will be in safe, caring hands with me. I am a substitute teacher so my flexibility is pretty open as long as you give me a few days notice. I can be home all day taking care of your beloved pup or if I do go teach that day I can be made available anytime after 2:45pm I would look after your pet as if I was looking after my own. I would keep your pet engaged and include them in everything I do so I constantly keep an eye on them. I have a fenced yard to play and run around, I have cameras around my house to ensure safety, and I will make sure to follow the rules given to me by you to keep your pet safe.

About: I’ve had the privilege of being around dogs my whole life, and I currently care for two energetic pit bull mixes of my own. I’ve been the go-to pet sitter for friends and family—walking, feeding, and caring for dogs of all sizes and personalities. I’m comfortable with high-energy breeds (happy to take your pup for a run!) and always stick to their schedule to keep things stress-free. I'm currently working a part-time job over the summer while I'm home from college, which gives me plenty of flexibility to care for your pet. I’m available Monday through Thursday from 6am to 12pm, Fridays from 6am to 11am, and I have full availability on weekends. Whether your pet needs a morning walk, playtime, or weekend care, I’ll be there to give them the attention and love they deserve. I follow your pet’s routine closely, keep their environment safe and calm, and send regular photo updates so you feel confident they’re loved, secure, and well cared for.

About: I’ve had pets my entire life and for the past three years, I’ve started caring for others in addition to my own. I have experience caring for dogs and Cats of all different sizes and breeds. Any dog I’ve met I have loved like my own! Growing up, I had my German Shepherd, and two cats. From pet sitting, long or short walks, I’ve also administered medication to dogs of all ages and sizes. Our pups were rescued as well, with little training, so teaching them tricks was always a fun time! Thank You, From your animal caregiver. I’ve cared for puppies and for senior dogs with problems such as blindness and arthritis. I’m able to give them any medication required. And cats with catarects. I have a safe and large fenced in backyard. All dogs are separated at feeding times of 7am and 6pm, unless you feed more and have a slightly different schedule. I am used to serving regular dry, wet, mixtures, raw foods, and administering medications including injectables.

About: Hello! I'm Claudia, and I would love to care for your pup or kitty! While pursuing my sociology degree, I supported myself through pet sitting. Now that I’m back in school for nursing prerequisites, I find I have a lot of time at home studying and would love a furry study buddy. Before I start pet sitting, I like to leave a piece of clothing so your pet can get used to my scent after our meet and greet. I am clean, respectful of your space, and comfortable with cameras or surveillance in and around the house. This arrangement ensures your peace of mind and my safety! As a student this allows me to destress throughout the week and take walks on local dog parks! I would only be away for a limited time as for the rest of my courses on online. Even if your pet is trained not to dash out the door, I'll still treat them like escape artists by being mindful of their surroundings. I'm also well versed in to taking care of sick pets!

About: I’ve taken care of dogs of every kind since I was 10. Neighbors, friends, and family have relied on me to walk, feed, and bathe their pets. I grew up in a family that rescued animals, so I’ve been surrounded by dogs and cats my whole life. We’d care for them and find them loving homes. I also have a big backyard with grass, perfect for safe playtime and potty breaks! I work from home part-time, so I have plenty of free time to give your pets the attention they deserve! I also have lots of space indoors and a grassy backyard for dogs and cats to play, relax, and feel at home. I’m available weekdays and weekends for boarding, drop-ins, and walks. I have a fully fenced grassy yard that’s perfect for safe outdoor play and potty breaks. I keep a clean, calm, and pet-friendly environment, and I’m happy to follow your pet’s routine to help them feel comfortable and secure. I can also crate your dog if needed and provide regular updates for peace of mind.

About: I’ve cared for many different kinds of pets since high school. Just in the last two years I’ve learned a lot about dog behavior as my husband and I have adopted two pups of our own. They are both around 2. I love to play and teach them as we are all growing together as a family. I had a dog in high school as well and walked her everyday. I also helped care for our kitties, as we had a few growing up. We also have three kitties now whom we love and play with everyday. Pets are like kids, they all have their own personalities and it’s fun to learn who they are just like people. I’m currently working an odd schedule and it’s been quite slow. Would be nice to make a little extra cash while helping someone else exercise their pup, or take care of them. I like to let pets get to know me and some need more time than others. Depending on the pet they may come to greet me or hide. It’s best to let the pet approach me first when they are ready. I like to use treats for commands, rewards, and/or bribes. Pets love to play and I am good at that! Outside is a little more dangerous as you never know what another person’s dog is like. I usually avoid strange dogs and anything that I see could be harmful. I like a close leash to make sure pets don’t eat strange things on the ground and I can watch them closely to look out for something before they get to it. Pets are quick and you have to see it before they do!

Nehemiah R.
“Nehemiah has a natural gift with animals. He’s been caring for our dog, Dory, since we rescued her when he was just in 5th grade. From day one, he took full responsibility for her—training, feeding, walking, and loving her like family. In many ways, Dory became his dog, and she’s the calm, well-behaved companion she is today because of him. He’s incredibly thoughtful, reliable, and kind—not just to animals, but to everyone around him. If you’re looking for someone who will treat your pet like their own, Nehemiah is exactly the person you want.”

Claudia R.
“Claudia has taken care of my dog multiple times before and taken her on walks all over. Unfortunatley she passed and now Claudia goes alone and I just know that she would be the best person for the job. This probably has nothing to do with this but in High School in she ran the tutoring center for younger kids even though she was a kid at the time. She has determination and patience.”

“Jessica has been dog sitting for my family dog for almost 2 years now. She’s super sweet, patient, & genuinely loves animals. We actually met while walking our dogs. Our pup Mocha adores her! “I am a dog lover and recognize one when I see one! More importantly, I know what a responsible dog lover does and is and Kimberly fits that bill perfectly: -she is dependable, on time and a good communicator -she is tuned into the personality and needs of pets -she has lots of personal experience caring for pets -she is strong and able to wrangle even unruly dogs Lastly, I would trust her completely with my own pets. Thank you.”

San Lorenzo dog parents share their Rover experiences
Lifesaver….,I so appreciate the last minute bookings. Very helpful and accommodating. Thank you Karley.

Thank you Kelly for the last minute walks. Great communication and pics. You’ve been a great help!!

Richard was great! Took Marlin on a nice, long walk and followed all our instructions. Would definitely recommend him to other pet parents.

Sui is great! First off, he responded to my dog walking request within 5 minutes! Very impressive! Upon acceptance, he asked pertinent questions in relation to Django’s mannerisms. Sui was punctual and arrived 5 minutes before our scheduled time, which is definitely a plus in my book! Just for reference, Django is a 70 pound Japanese, male Akita. He is very loyal and protective of his humans and so I’m usually weary when he meets new people. Django seemed to take to Sui without a problem. If needed, I would definitely contact him to walk Django, without any hesitation!

Meeting Ann and Wen was the best lifesavers for Ciri and myself. I really appreciated the kindness that Ciri received. Ciri really look forward to her walks. We will miss you both. Thank you so much.

10/10 would recommend! Bret took my request even if it was a last minute booking and he was so nice my dog likes him! He sent photos of their walk, came back on time and my dog came back definitely happy and probably tired since as soon as he got home he just went to sleep ☺️

Roberta has helped us with our pups on a couple of occasions now and she is great! Easy and straightforward communication and most importantly attentive and caring to our dogs needs. Would definitely recommend Roberta!

This was our first meeting with Alex and he was excellent! Our dog loved him instantly and he spent quality time getting to know her and our family’s needs before their first walk. We love that he has experience with big dogs and knows the area well. I so appreciated that he asked or answered all the questions that were on my mind. We look forward to working with him long term!

Great as expected! Been our normal “on-call” walker for awhile (couple years) and I wouldn’t wanna trust my babies with anyone else!!! Thanks Linda!

Anna is amazing!! My dog Amaya loves her so much. Anna took Amaya to her favorite trail. Anna is so detailed and she definitely goes the extra mile! I received regular updates and pictures during her walk I was so happy with her service! Don’t wait to book Anna!

Miriam is very responsive and communication with her is easy. She was also flexible and worked with our schedule to make dog walking work well. Our dog was always happy to see her and we felt was taken good care of. Thank you, Miriam!

Julia was the best dog sitter Chico ever had. She spent the entire 2 hours we booked walking, training and playing with Chico at our house, while we were out. Julia was on time, super responsive, and dependable. Chico had the best time. We are so lucky to have found Julia, and definitely recommend her if you want the best for your pup!

I want to send yet another BIG THANK YOU to Ayashe for loving on my babies like I do and always caring for them with professionalism and kindness. I have enjoyed working with her for over a year where she reliably showed up to walk them in a timely manner, communicated regularly, and became a trusted part of our routine/household. Even though I booked one walk at a time, I was a recurring client this whole time and could not have done it without her. Thank you so much for all your help and being an ideal Rover walker 🐶🐶❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️

Virginia was amazing with my dogs. She was responsible, communicative, and it's obvious she really loves animals and they know it. I would not hesitate in highly recommending her and using her again.

Alejandra came over to meet Henry before walking him and it went great. She walked him for half an hour and sent pictures and updates afterwards. We trust her with Henry and highly recommend Alejandra.

Shannon came faithfully and walked my two dogs (even the feisty chihuahua, who can get nippy if rushed)—even in the rain. I think there was some initial miscommunication regarding the walking schedule, but in the end, the dogs were always walked, I always got the walking report, and Shannon regularly communicated her ETA. As a dog mom—my two dogs are like my little babies—I may have left notes that were too detailed, but ultimately everything turned out great.
