About: Hi! My name is Marae. A little about me: I grew up in a home filled with a love for all animals, especially dogs and cats. From feeding and grooming to playtime, giving medication and comforting them when they were anxious, I learned early on how to understand their unique personalities and needs. Because animals have always been such an important part of my life, working with them feels completely natural to me and I truly enjoy it! When I worked at a pet boarding facility, I cared for a wide variety of dogs and cats, each with their own routines, personalities, and preferences. I always made it a priority to ensure every pet felt safe, comfortable, and loved while their families were away. I treat every animal as if they were my own. I’m also a proud cat mom to three: Luna Storm, Chanse the Rapper (he talks a lot, hence the name), and Giovanni Grey. My schedule is flexible and I am normally available even with little notice. About: From the time I was old enough to ask “can we keep him” I’ve always taken care of my best friends. From walking them 3 miles to the vet (before I was old enough to drive) to daily feedings, bathing, grooming and of course, treats! While I spoil the pets, I’m always sure to give them the highest grade food and treats. I believe they deserve the best. Diet and exercise are important. A daily regiment of “fetch” is highly recommended by Duke, the black lab! I would love to take care of your best friend and ensure he/she is given the highest quality of care while keeping Duke company (Duke plays well with others.) I’ve been working from home for the last seven years. I always have time to make sure the water bowls are full and play time is given. Who says you can’t work from the patio while throwing a ball for fetch? Duke and I have a great fenced in yard for plenty of play time and potty breaks. All vegetation is harmless for pets. Grass is well groomed and “yard bombs” removed daily (or as often as required).

Took very good care of my five cats, including my senior diabetic cat, who she gave insulin to. My cats responded well to her immediately and were drawn to her and comfortable approaching on our meet and greet. She reached out to me immediately when one cat was hiding during her first visit and I appreciate the realtime communication when an issue arose. We arrived back home after 3 days and my babies were happy and healthy. Will definitely book with her again in the future!

As usual, Lynn (Nikki) did a fantastic job taking care of our pets. She very meticulously followed our instructions and gave us regular updates with pictures. When our flights were canceled, she agreed at the last minute to stay an extra night. We would recommend her highly to anyone looking for a conscientious and responsible sitter.
