“Tamara took amazing care of our two cats while we were out of town. She was always on time checking in on our kittens, shared detailed updates with lots of photos, and made sure everything was taken care of, from food/water and litter box to playtime and cleaning up. Penny and Josie loved her. If you are looking for a reliable, communicative, and trustworthy pet sitter, we’d highly recommend Tamara. Thank you so much for taking care of P & J while we were gone.”

“Melanie has helped me a few times now and has gone above and beyond for my pets. I only asked for dogs to be fed and let outside, but she cleaned up pet messes, and even scooped a litter box for me! The dogs love her and I will definitely be hiring her again.”

“Kyra was patient and willing to work with our reactive dogs! She was on time for our appointment and very friendly. She listened to our instructions carefully and carried out professionally. She was calm and loving to both our pets. Will definitely be recommending her to our friends and family and will definitely be using her services again!”

“Asiah did a wonderful job taking care of our cat. She came to us in a pinch when our cat sitter was unable to complete the remaining visits while we were away on vacation. She restored our peace of mind and are truly appreciative of the care she gave to our cat in such short notice. We will be using Asiah again!!”

“Kara was a great sitter for Blu while we were away for a bit longer than we ever have been before. She communicated with me very well and gave great updates and pictures during each visit! I would definitely use her again in the future if we needed a dog sitter.”

“Very friendly, readily available, and great communicators. I felt like my pet was happy and safe in their care and comfortable with them in our home. They even brought in a package for us from our doorstep. Great pet-sitters and we will definitely book with them again in the future!”
“Oh my gosh - where do I start. I interviewed a few people because I’m a helicopter mom with some pups who are scared of fireworks. Michelle at our meet and greet had the dogs and I both so calm! We planned one visit but when my dog was stressed with the fireworks on our furbo camera, she came back as his little hero for an unplanned second visit. We are so so grateful and would recommend Michelle to literally anyone. THANK YOU”

“Pat was a lifesaver! We have a senior chihuahua with special needs who is very difficult to work with to say the least. Pat was very patient, kind, and understanding of her needs. She showed up every day on time and gave our little fur baby lots of love. Pat is like one of the family and we will be calling her in the future!”

“How we love Marae!! She is so kind and took such good care of our pups! I feel like I overloaded her with a lot of information to only care for our dogs for a day, but she followed everything so beautifully and went above and beyond. The photos helps me be confident that my dogs are taking care of. Honestly, my dogs are really chill, but I could tell in every picture that they were so comfortable with her and that meant the world to me. Please please book with her if you get the opportunity! I can’t wait to work with her again.”

“Our furry friends love Scott! His patience and gentle approach helps even our feisty orange guy warm up to the unfamiliar house guest. We have been genuinely delighted and surprised by how well our buddies have embraced their new friend. Thank you, Scott, for keeping our four-legged friends entertained and cared for while we’re away.”

“Travis is going to be my go to guy whenever I need a pup sitter! He was terrific; I got updates and pictures and funny stories about what my dogs were up to during his visits, and my dogs were always so happy in the pictures. Travis was very prompt and conscientious, two qualities I admire very much. If you are on the fence about having a person come into your home and take care of your pups, jump off that fence and hire Travis!!! 😀”

“I can’t say enough good about Darren! My boys LOVE him. He is kind, patient, and gentle with my dogs. Sent lots of pics during his visit. He is punctual & has excellent communication - you’ll never be left with wondering! He is an animal lover & it really shows when you see him interact with your furbabies. I would HIGHLY recommend Darren & will use him again!”

“Ariel is so sweet with our boys. Trust worthy. It’s nice to have someone you can completely trust with your pets. Finally be able to go on quick trips without worrying. She is amazing”

“Had a last minute trip and Kateri was able to make things less stressful! She was great with communication and always sent me plenty of photos. Will definitely be using her in the future!”

“Madelyn did a great job on the Drop in Visits for my fur babies! She sent me updates and made sure they were well taken care of. I definitely recommend her and will be booking with her in the future.”

About: Hi! I’d love the opportunity to become your pet’s trusted sitter, walker, and second home. 🐾❤️ 10 years of experience. Lots of love. One happy pet at a time. I work part-time from home, which gives me a flexible schedule and allows me to be available for pet care throughout the day. I’m able to accommodate walks, drop-in visits, feeding, litter care, and plenty of quality time with your pets while you’re away. When caring for pets in their own home, I focus on keeping their routine as comfortable and familiar as possible. I also respect your home as if it were my own, leaving everything clean, secure, and just as I found it. I provide a comfortable, home-like environment where dogs can feel safe, loved, and included. As always Kelsey was great! Jesse, the cat, loves her visits with Kelsey. She does a great jobtaking of Jesse’s needs, including making sure Jesse gets her medication. But this time Kelsey went above and beyond for us and for Jesse! We are grateful the she was there taking care of everything during some unexpected issues. She was on

Tamara did a fantastic job taking care of our two dogs for a week of drop-in visits. Our dogs loved her and she clearly has a great sense of how to connect with dogs and other animals. She is incredibly conscientious, always on time, does a great write-up of each visit and takes lots of fantastic pictures too. She was also so flexible and kind as we had a huge storm hit that knocked out power for two days; she was great about rescheduling promptly due to the changes in our schedule that resulted. I can highly recommend Tamara without reservation.

Aspen was absolutely fantastic watching Enzo for 4 days! From the very beginning, she was communicative, reliable, and put my mind completely at ease while I was away. She sent the cutest picture updates and treated Enzo like her own. I highly recommend her to anyone looking for a caring and trustworthy pet sitter!

Jodi was awesome! You can tell she's an animal person through and through. She was incredibly kind and helpful. She went above and beyond in helping us get connected to another sitter, who was actually closer to our home, and made sure we had coverage for our whole trip. She stopped by our house for a meet and greet, and was so patient in meeting our cats. I would absolutely recommend her to take care of your pets!

I cannot recommend Janell enough! I have such peace of mind when it comes to her checking in on our cats while we're away. She takes the time to play with them and even our shy cat comes out for her! I love that it's never a simple refill their food and water and go. She actually spends time with our babies and I love that!

Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.
A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your pet, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.

Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement sitter.
