Hello! I’m Aspen 🐾 I’m the Lead Pharmacy Technician at The Ohio State University Veterinary Medical Center, so I spend my days surrounded by animals and I know just how important they are to your family. When I’m not at the vet hospital, I’m on campus in class or studying to become a Women’s Health Nurse Practitioner in Graduate School at Ohio State. I’ve been around animals my entire life. I grew up on a farm, which is where my love for all creatures—big and small—first began. I’ve always had dogs, and currently I share my home with a Dalmatian/Brittany Spaniel mix, a super mutt and a cat. I’m comfortable with all breeds and temperaments, and have experience with dogs including Dalmatians, Golden Retrievers, Greyhounds, Terriers, Border Collies, German Shepherds, Boxers, Bulldogs, Pit Bulls, and Australian Shepherds. Whether your pet is bouncy, shy, or somewhere in between - I’d love to care for them. I’ve trained my own dogs in leash walking, basic commands, and of course, lots of love and play. I’m looking to pick up part-time work doing something I love, caring for animals, during mornings and evenings outside of my hospital and class hours. ⏰ Availability May/June: • Monday: not available 2:30pm-5:00pm • Tuesday: all day open • Wednesday: not available from 6:30am-7:30pm • Thursday: all day open • Friday: not available 8am-12pm Available all day on weekends! Whether it’s a walk, a cuddle session, or just keeping your pet company while you’re away, I’d love the opportunity to help. All pets welcome, no judgment here! 🐶🐱🐾

Pets

Safety, trust & environment

Depends on the pet I am seeing. I usually try to gauge their energy and behavior, if they are friendly and have energy, I will play with them and give them lots of love. If they are more shy, I will let them sniff me as they wish and just chill with them.

Aspen was absolutely fantastic watching Enzo for 4 days! From the very beginning, she was communicative, reliable, and put my mind completely at ease while I was away. She sent the cutest picture updates and treated Enzo like her own. I highly recommend her to anyone looking for a caring and trustworthy pet sitter!

Aspen made the whole process incredibly easy! She took fantastic care of my baby and my home as well and even went the extra mile to ensure I came home to clean sheets on the bed after a long day of travel!! I especially loved the picture updates she would send of my pup while I was away, which eased my anxiety a lot. Will 1000% be booking her in the future

Aspen once again was an amazing pet sitter for us. I can confidently leave my pets in her care and not worry while we are away. Will definitely use her again.

Aspen was great to work with! Very attentive to our two dogs and especially patient with our doodle that is anxious and shy around new people. She left our house in great shape when she left. She was also an excellent communicator throughout!

Aspen was truly amazing and we have already asked her to come back! Not only did she come and meet myself and the dogs before our dates we needed her, it was very last minute and she was so accommodating! During her stay she communicated and sent pictures daily. We had something happening with our keypad locks on both doors, and it caused her to get locked out. We did not have a back up plan in place for something like this, so it was truly our fault, but she did not stop trying to get in to check on the dogs! Luckily it was her last day with the dogs, and they were perfectly fine, but the fact that she had to deal with that inconvenience and didn’t give up is a testament in itself!

I couldn’t be happier with the care my dog received! From the start, communication was clear and reassuring, and it was obvious my pup was treated like family. I got updates, photos, and came home to a happy, relaxed dog—which says everything. Reliable, kind, and truly attentive—highly recommend to anyone looking for a trustworthy sitter on Rover!

I would like to know if there are certain things that could make a dog nippy. If he/she is good with other dogs. If there is anything special that I should know. I love all kinds of dogs no preference.
