“Asiah is absolutely wonderful. First time using Rover since our Mastiff had surgery and couldn’t go to the kennel and now we’ll never go back. She was calm and gentle with my stubborn dogs (Mastiff and bulldog). Gave them lots of love and attention so they never felt any anxiety about us being gone. Figured out ways to make our picky eater actually eat… and showered them with her attention. She’s the best!!!”

About: I grew up with all kinds of animals but dogs were always part of our family. As an adult I have owned cats, hamsters, guinea pigs and fish. I love all animals including reptiles! I am currently a stay at home mom for four and looking for some fur-babies to love on while my kids are at school. I’m available most days during the day and some weekends too. I have work in child care most my life, so I’m use to meeting the needs of those who you love the most. I’m calm and patient for slow to warm animals and children.
About: Senior experience, daily exercise, I provide lots of praise. Sometimes all dogs just need to get outside to run and play and enjoy the fresh air. Lots eye contact and one and one timel Summer and weekends my calendar is more open. I have a flexible schedule so I may work around most requests. I can offer same day booking! Let me know if you have a designated play area or a fenced in yard. Otherwise I'll walk with a leash, either way we're getting steps in!
“Kam did the job as requested keeping my kitties sane and fed in their family's absence. It was a great help because our regular sitter was unexpectedly unavailable and I had only a matter of hours to secure a new sitter. They were responsive and made themselves available to us on very short notice. I greatly appreciated that-- then I could go on our family vacation with our worries.”

“Very friendly, readily available, and great communicators. I felt like my pet was happy and safe in their care and comfortable with them in our home. They even brought in a package for us from our doorstep. Great pet-sitters and we will definitely book with them again in the future!”
“Kara was a great sitter for Blu while we were away for a bit longer than we ever have been before. She communicated with me very well and gave great updates and pictures during each visit! I would definitely use her again in the future if we needed a dog sitter.”

About: I’ve grown up around animals and currently have two dogs and two cats of my own. I’ve also helped family friends by caring for their pets while they’re away, including feeding, walks, playtime, and checkins. I love getting to know each pet’s personality and making sure they feel safe, happy, and well cared for. I currently work part time , which gives me flexibility for dog walks, drop in visits, and pet care throughout the week. I’m committed to being dependable, and I’ll always do my best to accommodate your pet’s routine. Whether your pet needs a quick potty break, a walk, playtime, or some extra attention while you’re away, I’m happy to help. Your pet’s safety and comfort are my top priorities. As the owner of two dogs and two cats, I understand how important it is to trust someone with your pets. I follow all care instructions carefully, including feeding schedules, medications, and exercise needs. During visits, I’ll make sure your pet gets plenty of attention, care, and supervision, and I’ll provide updates and photos so you can feel confident while you’re away.

“How we love Marae!! She is so kind and took such good care of our pups! I feel like I overloaded her with a lot of information to only care for our dogs for a day, but she followed everything so beautifully and went above and beyond. The photos helps me be confident that my dogs are taking care of. Honestly, my dogs are really chill, but I could tell in every picture that they were so comfortable with her and that meant the world to me. Please please book with her if you get the opportunity! I can’t wait to work with her again.”

“Amazing pet sitter! I always have complete peace of mind knowing my pets are in such caring and trustworthy hands. Great communication, dependable service, and lots of love for my pets. I highly recommend!”

“Aspen is just the sweetest & most caring. She communicated great and took the best photos of our pets. I honestly had no worries the entire time we were gone. I definitely will choose Aspen EVERY time!”

“Travis was absolutely fantastic with our sweet Sadie Rose. Our lovely girl is quite high maintenance due to her large size (Blue Merle Great Dane) and her medical issues from old age. He was caring and truly concerned for her well-being along with great communication and pictures of girl (also a few pics of our silly cats). Travis was on time and went above and beyond for us and our girl, Sadie. Highly recommend Travis!!”

I enjoy spending time with animals and making sure they feel safe, comfortable, and loved while in my care. “This was our first Rover experience and Tamara was fantastic! I truly could go on and on about how pleased we were with her service. We have a zoo to care for that consists of 3 dogs and a kitten. She obviously cares about animals and she is very conscious and accommodating to our pet’s needs. The pets took to her immediately. She kept us updated on the visits with lots of pictures. There were some accidents and everything was cleaned up. I will definitely book Tamara for pet sitting in the future.”
“Our furry friends love Scott! His patience and gentle approach helps even our feisty orange guy warm up to the unfamiliar house guest. We have been genuinely delighted and surprised by how well our buddies have embraced their new friend. Thank you, Scott, for keeping our four-legged friends entertained and cared for while we’re away.”

About: Hi! I’m a college student, swim instructor, and lifelong animal lover with over 7 years of pet sitting and dog walking experience. Growing up, I cared for two dogs, two cats, a guinea pig, and a gecko, giving me hands-on experience with a variety of animals and their unique needs. I have worked with dogs of all ages, sizes, and personalities, from energetic puppies to senior dogs requiring extra patience and care. My experience ranges from walking small breeds like Pomeranians to caring for giant breeds such as Great Danes. I am also comfortable administering medications to dogs and following detailed care instructions to ensure your pet stays happy, healthy, and safe. In addition to dogs and cats, I have experience caring for reptiles, including those with live-feeding requirements. Through my 13+ years as a Girl Scout, I developed strong responsibility, leadership, and problem-solving skills. For both my Girl Scout Bronze and Silver Awards, I completed projects focused on pet welfare and educating new pet owners about responsible animal care, further deepening my knowledge of pet health, safety, and enrichment. My work as a swim instructor has strengthened my patience, attentiveness, and ability to remain calm in unexpected situations. I understand that every pet is unique, and I strive to provide the same love, attention, and care that I would want for my own animals. Whether your pet needs a walk, playtime, medication, specialized care, or simply a trusted companion while you’re away, I’m committed to making sure they feel comfortable, safe, and loved. I’m currently working part time so I have plenty of time to play and take care of your pups. I typically work afternoons on weekdays and mornings on weekends, which means I am often available for morning and midday visits during the week and afternoon and evening care on weekends. Because I have been pet sitting and dog walking for over 7 years, I am used to planning my schedule around pets’ needs, whether that means walks, feeding schedules, playtime, medication administration, or simply providing companionship. I prioritize reliability and communication to ensure pets receive consistent, attentive care while their owners are away. I believe every pet is happiest when their normal routine is maintained, so I take the time to learn each pet’s specific needs, preferences, and schedule. In a client’s home, I follow all care instructions carefully, including feeding schedules, walks, playtime, medication administration, crate routines, and any special requirements. I also provide plenty of attention, enrichment, and companionship to help pets feel comfortable while their owners are away. I am comfortable administering medications and adapting care to fit each animal’s personality and health needs. In my own home, I have cared for multiple pets throughout my life, including dogs, cats, a guinea pig, and a gecko. I prioritize safety, cleanliness, exercise, and positive interactions to ensure every animal feels secure and well cared for. I have a large yard and high privacy fence for dogs to run and plenty of indoor and outdoor toys, including a ball launcher. I have a senior dog they can chill out with or an active austrialian shepard who loves to play with new friends. As a pet sitter and dog walker for over 7 years, I understand the importance of treating every pet as if they were my own and keeping owners updated with regular communication and photos whenever possible.

About: I have had dogs since I was 17 most of the time 2 t o 3 dogs at a time. I enjoy walking them and playing outside with them and loving on them. I currently work a fulltime job with work from home days as well. I work 8am to 4pm. I still have plenty of time with my animals and take my dog for walks or play fetch in the back yard. “Rachel was amazing with our dog! She really cares and it definitely shows. She was even able to come for an extra visit last minute when we needed her. She sent me pictures of our pets during her visit and gave them lots of treats and pets! We will definitely use her again!”

“Abbey has done a great job checking in on both of our dogs for two weeks now. She is super dependable about showing up on time, documenting the visit, and engaging well with both Theo and Bruce. She’s even gone the extra mile and cleaned up after Bruce had a couple of pee accidents inside the house - definitely not something we expect from any dog-sitter but very kind and thoughtful nonetheless. We highly recommend her pet care services!”

Jodi was awesome! You can tell she's an animal person through and through. She was incredibly kind and helpful. She went above and beyond in helping us get connected to another sitter, who was actually closer to our home, and made sure we had coverage for our whole trip. She stopped by our house for a meet and greet, and was so patient in meeting our cats. I would absolutely recommend her to take care of your pets!

Kelsey did a wonderful job taking care of Jesse! This is the second time we have had Kelsey take care of her and she was as great this time as she was last time. She will be our go to whenever we go out of town. Kelsey was very flexible when we had winter weather conditions to deal with both at home, and affecting our drive home. Thankfully she was available when we had to delay our return by a day. Our only quibble is that Jesse was asking where that nice lady who took better care of her was. 😏 Thank you Kelsey!

I cannot recommend Janell enough! I have such peace of mind when it comes to her checking in on our cats while we're away. She takes the time to play with them and even our shy cat comes out for her! I love that it's never a simple refill their food and water and go. She actually spends time with our babies and I love that!

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your cat, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
