“Amazing pet sitter! I always have complete peace of mind knowing my pets are in such caring and trustworthy hands. Great communication, dependable service, and lots of love for my pets. I highly recommend!”

“Maddie is so caring! Our cat comes to see Maddie each time she comes. We couldn’t be happier about this. Our kitty is extremely shy and his love to Maddie is a sign of her genuine care.”

“Travis is going to be my go to guy whenever I need a pup sitter! He was terrific; I got updates and pictures and funny stories about what my dogs were up to during his visits, and my dogs were always so happy in the pictures. Travis was very prompt and conscientious, two qualities I admire very much. If you are on the fence about having a person come into your home and take care of your pups, jump off that fence and hire Travis!!! 😀”

“Kam was amazing!! We have a very anxious dog who did not do well in boarding, so decided to do a dog sitter. Our dog has regressive behavior and Kam knew exactly how to work with our dog's personality. This time he was in such better spirits and so happy when we got home. There were no accidents, nothing chewed. Kam came every visit, sent photos and spent 30 minutes each visit. I am definitely using Kam again in the future!”

“How we love Marae!! She is so kind and took such good care of our pups! I feel like I overloaded her with a lot of information to only care for our dogs for a day, but she followed everything so beautifully and went above and beyond. The photos helps me be confident that my dogs are taking care of. Honestly, my dogs are really chill, but I could tell in every picture that they were so comfortable with her and that meant the world to me. Please please book with her if you get the opportunity! I can’t wait to work with her again.”

“Melanie has helped me a few times now and has gone above and beyond for my pets. I only asked for dogs to be fed and let outside, but she cleaned up pet messes, and even scooped a litter box for me! The dogs love her and I will definitely be hiring her again.”

“We just love Ms. Pat. We hire her several times a month for many different services. Highly recommend her. I trust her wholeheartedly with my babies (dogs) and my home”
“Kara is exceptional. This is the second time I've used her. She is prompt yet flexible. She takes excellent care of my fur baby. I don't have to worry about whether or not she'll show up or if she will love her almost as much as I do. Thank you so much! Kara!!”

“Very friendly, readily available, and great communicators. I felt like my pet was happy and safe in their care and comfortable with them in our home. They even brought in a package for us from our doorstep. Great pet-sitters and we will definitely book with them again in the future!”
“Madelyn did a great job on the Drop in Visits for my fur babies! She sent me updates and made sure they were well taken care of. I definitely recommend her and will be booking with her in the future.”

“Baileigh was such a kind and caring dog sitter! She was so accommodating and flexible to our dog’s special needs. The communication and updates gave us such peace of mind the entire time we were away ! She was also very respectful of our home and very considerate.”

“Alexa is excellent with our pets. She engages them in playtime and takes care of them with a smile. Would highly recommend Alexa for anyone who wants to be certain their pets are in good hands!”

I cannot recommend Janell enough! I have such peace of mind when it comes to her checking in on our cats while we're away. She takes the time to play with them and even our shy cat comes out for her! I love that it's never a simple refill their food and water and go. She actually spends time with our babies and I love that!

Cat sitters on Rover care for your cats’ needs and can spend quality time with them, including activities like feeding, playing, and refreshing their water and litter boxes. Depending on your arrangement, you can schedule as many visits per day as your cat needs or find a sitter who can stay at your house overnight. Some sitters also board cats in their home.

Many pet parents provide a spare key or arrange a lockbox. You can also exchange keys during the Meet & Greet and show your walker how to use digital fobs or personalized codes. It helps to arrange access to your home, from spare keys to concierge introductions, before pet care begins.
If you live in an apartment or condo, don’t forget to discuss details like buzzer access, codes, or elevator etiquette. These details can help a pet sitter feel more comfortable going in and out of your building.

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your cat, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Yes, you can find sitters who have experience with handling special pet needs in Pickerington. On Rover:

You can also find pet sitters on Rover who accept only one pet at a time, which is ideal for anxious puppies, kittens, or senior pets who move at a gentler pace. Some sitters will also list availability for 24/7 care, also known as constant care, in their profiles.
Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.
Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.
Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement sitter.
