“Brooke was absolutely amazing with our babies! We were scared to leave them with someone that wasn't family or a friend but she eased those scares! She sent plenty of pics & always made sure to ask before giving something to the pups or doing walks with them ! We will definitely book her again in the future!!!! Thanks for being such a sweet soul to our babies! 😊”

“Taylor was awesome with our cat and was very responsive and helpful! She is very friendly and definitely has some experience taking care of animals. We would 100% recommend her and we will be booking with her again in the future!”

“Ioana is amazing and so reliable! She has been sitting for me and my cat Stevie on and off for a year now and she has done an amazing job. Highly recommend!”

“JoVonna took such great care of our boy while we were out of town. We could rest so much easier knowing someone had checked on him and gave him love.”

“Heather is so sweet! She offered a repeat meet and greet when we got our second pup so he could get to know her as well. She was also able to help with drop ins last minute this visit which was so appreciated. She is thorough, asks great questions to ensure good care, and sends photos with her visits! Highly recommend :)”

“I am really sad that I can only give Chase five stars. She was wonderful. Polite, prompt and very reliable. She treated my dog, Cooper, like he was her own. I loved receiving updates while I was gone knowing he was getting the attention, care and love he deserves. Chase was quick to ask questions and responds to text and email in a very timely fashion. If you hadn't booked with Chase yet - you need to!”

About: I have been a vet assistant, I’ve worked with horses, cats, dogs, birds, lizards, and snakes. I always go the extra mile and believe that pets deserve the very best. I was a vet assistant and specialized in “difficult “ pets. I will go at your pets speed, whatever helps them be more comfortable. If your pet needs more time to adjust, I will give them that. If your pet needs a little extra time and attention that’s no problem.
“Christine is such a kind, caring sitter. She has been so patient with my dog that is slow to warm up to people. She's gone above and beyond to play fetch with Boo and become her friend. Your dogs would have such a blast boarding with Christine!”

“Taylor was prompt in her replies, even when I did a last minute booking! She was great with the kiddos, they were taken care of very well. My dog Vali got nice walks and lots of pets. Taco, my cat definitely appreciated the timely meals 😆, churu treats ☺️ and play time. Definitely will continue with her for future bookings.”

“Victoria was great at sending pictures and making sure everything was taken care of for my cats! She even found the anti-social one under the bed a couple of times. Would definitely use her again!”

About: I grew up with dogs and once I started my own family, over the years we welcomed three dogs and two cats into the mix. With my kids having flown the coop, I have time, energy, and lots of love to give! For three weeks in July, I will be living at our home in Columbus, Oh and be available for drop-in visits and dog walks. Eventually, we will be living here full time and I would love to have some Ohio puppy friends:-) During the school year, we live in Alexandria, VA and I coach a variety of sports throughout the school year which keeps me busy later in the early afternoon and early evenings for a few hours during the week. The rest of the day, my time is my own and I'm available for walks, and hangouts with all the fur babies. I am extremely organized and responsible. Rest assured that any animals in my care will be treated with the all the love, care and dignity that they deserve.
“Merri was so fantastic to coordinate and communicate with, and I'm sure Yuka loved her visits because he got to go outside! Merri is trustworthy and I appreciate the effort into doing a meet and greet to familiarize herself with Yuka.”

Cat parents share their Rover experiences - Bexley
Alex is one of the best pet sitters we've used. She is amazing! She sent lots of photos and updates about how our kitties were doing, which I loved. She went above and beyond on several fronts, for example, by offering special holiday goodies to the boys. We'll definitely book with her again next time we need a pet sitter. Thank you, Alex!

Zack was amazing with my cat! This was my first time using Rover, and he went above and beyond to make me feel comfortable with the process. He was extremely communicative while I was away and kept me informed about everything going on with Phileas. The daily photos were such a bonus and really put my mind at ease.

Cat sitters on Rover care for your cats’ needs and can spend quality time with them, including activities like feeding, playing, and refreshing their water and litter boxes. Depending on your arrangement, you can schedule as many visits per day as your cat needs or find a sitter who can stay at your house overnight. Some sitters also board cats in their home.
House sitting can be ideal for cats who need socialization or care that lasts longer than a few hours. Your cat stays in their own home, on their own schedule, with care based on what you and your sitter agree on together.
Many pet parents provide a spare key or arrange a lockbox. You can also exchange keys during the Meet & Greet and show your walker how to use digital fobs or personalized codes. It helps to arrange access to your home, from spare keys to concierge introductions, before pet care begins.
If you live in an apartment or condo, don’t forget to discuss details like buzzer access, codes, or elevator etiquette. These details can help a pet sitter feel more comfortable going in and out of your building.

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your cat, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Yes, you can find sitters who have experience with handling special pet needs in Bexley. On Rover:

- 98% can help with giving oral medications or injections

You can also find pet sitters on Rover who accept only one pet at a time, which is ideal for anxious puppies, kittens, or senior pets who move at a gentler pace. Some sitters will also list availability for 24/7 care, also known as constant care, in their profiles.
Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.
Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.
Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement sitter.
