I’ve had cats and dogs personally my entire life, and have worked with them professionally for roughly 12 years. I worked at an animal rescue in Akron for 3 years, managing both cats and dogs of various sizes, breeds and temperaments. After that, I worked for two professional pet sitting companies providing daily dog walks and drop in visits. I then worked personally with my own clients (having met many adopters from the rescue!) to provide overnight pet care in the clients homes. I also worked for a year at VIP pet clinic, helping to provide preventative care for dogs and cats. I have experience administering medicine (everything from pills to fluids), and have experience with handicapable and senior pets. I currently have two rescue pups- Dewy who is a blind senior, and Sydney who is a rambunctious Aussie mix.

Since I have two pups of my own, Dewy being a bit of a grumpy butt, I only can watch pets in your home. While my husband cares for our fur babies, I can be available to stay with yours throughout the duration of the booking.

Needed someone last minute to drop in on my girl this weekend, and Merri came to the rescue! She was great! Kept me informed and sent pictures throughtout the visit. It was very reassuring to know my pup was going to get out some cooped up energy while I was working. Thank you so much! I will definitely be keeping you in mind if I ever need someone for her again! And would definitely recommend her to others.
My kitties had great visits with Merri! I contacted her with very short notice but everything worked out smoothly and wonderfully. I will definitely contact her again in the future and recommend her to anyone with four-footers - both cats (I have four) and dogs!
Merri was truly fantastic. Just a sweet, wonderful, lovely person and I could just tell even from far away my dogs were so happy to be with her. She took such excellent care of my dogs. I will definitely be reaching out to her again if at any point in time, I have an emergency. She was fantastic.
Great communicator! Super kind and friendly with our dogs, we always feel comfortable when Merri is with our boys!
Merri was great with my two dogs and watching over my house while I was out of town! She sent daily updates on how the dogs were doing, how their walks went, etc. The house was also very clean when she left which is always a nice thing to come home to.

Schedule
I currently have a full time job Monday-Friday, 9-5 PM. I work from home on most Thursdays & Fridays, so will be available to stay with your pet in home. I have marked Thursday -Sunday as my main availability for sitting- but am open to Monday-Wednesday as long as you are okay with my work schedule.
