“I am so glad I found McCall! She is mature, reliable, and she really "gets" cats. I had her watch my cat while I was out of town for a couple days, and I was impressed with her communication and professionalism. My cat loved her during our initial meet & greet, which was very reassuring. He's shy, though, so McCall didn't actually see him during her drop-in visits. However, due to McCall's experience with cats, she knew that was normal and took it in stride. It was a relief to know my pet was well cared for, and that I could enjoy my trip., I enthusiastically recommend McCall and look forward to working with her again.”

“Thea took great care of our three cats! The whole week she was caring for them she gave detailed updates, sent lots of cute pics, and made sure to reach out if she had a concern. Thea made an effort to get to know each of their personalities 💓”

“Emma is the best! My kitty loves her, and she does so well with his routine and medicines. Traveling for work used to give me so much anxiety because I worried about my fur son, but I don’t worry anymore—I know he’s in good hands with Emma!”

“Rachel took amazing care of my dog over the past few days. She was attentive, responsible, and truly caring. I really appreciated that she took him out for walks. I know he can pull pretty hard, and she handled it so well. I felt completely at ease knowing he was in good hands. I would definitely trust her again and highly recommend her!”

About: As an independent contractor, I make my own schedule. This allows me to operate on a very flexible calendar. In addition to being the go-to care taker for the pets in my circle, I also have a lifestyle that allows for me to go the extra mile and hangout longer, play more, and go for longer walks! I currently make my own schedule. So pet care fits in tremendously. I work as a freelance film and commercial laborer. Being in charge of my calendar allows me to schedule accordingly to take care of your pet! Having two cats of my own, while I can't house animals at my own residence, I am very familiar with the needs of pets. Playtime, treats, head scratches, and the like. I love every animal deeply and with a great respect. I treat every space with the utmost dignity and try to keep as small of a footprint as possible when entering someone's home. I have been house sitting, dog/cat watching for many years now. I look forward to ensuring you have an enjoyable, trustworthy experience when working with me.

“Elizabeth was super reliable with twice-a-day visits, and so loving with Oliver! He loved her from the moment they met, and she executed all of his needs (food, vitamins/meds, treats, potty breaks -- everything!) with total ease. She took a picture each time, and reported any concerns right away. Elizabeth truly went above and beyond. I could not recommend her more highly!”

“Sadie-Jean took excellent care of my two cats, with daily drop-ins over the holidays while I was out of town for a week. She was completely trustworthy, reliable, communicative, and sent many videos and pictures throughout her visits. She even brought her own toys to play with them! I’ve used rover several times now and this was by far one of the best experiences. I’m sad to be moving out of the area, because Sadie is an absolute gem and solid pet sitters like her are hard to find. Thanks again for all your help Sadie!”

About: I’ve taken care of different dogs ever since high school. Constantly volunteering at animal shelter and creating my very own club too. I also own a dog in which I took care of her everyday and went on a walk with her. I’m currently a student and whenever I’m not busy studying or taking classes I am able to walk dogs anytime of the day and wee I won’t be able to bring the dogs into the home but if you need to walk your dog I will be always available just let me know a day before
“Sophie was amazing! She took great care of our two dogs while we were away. She was super communicative and sent lots of photos, which we appreciated. She also seemed to really know and understand what our dogs needed. One of our dogs has a bit of anxiety, and sometimes really just needs someone to sit on the couch with her until she gets comfortable. Sophie seemed to really take note of that need and provided our dogs with lots of love and comfort. I’m sure our dogs can’t wait to have Sophie back!”

About: I’ve been raised with animals my whole life! I have had various cats, fish, dogs and, even a hedgehog over the years. I was also responsible for walking the two family dogs. I’ve pet sat several times for family friends in the past. I love cats and dogs, (of any size) and have true compassion for any animal I meet, as if they were my own pet. Let me know if you have any questions! I work Monday-Friday, 9-5. I am flexible to stop by early mornings, after work, and on the weekends! I’m happy to work with you to determine the best schedule that fits your pets needs. If I am in your home to complete a service the utmost caution would be exercised to respect your space while caring for your furry friend!
“We have booked with Deanna previously and will be again in the future. Our cats have really warmed up to her and love her visits. It is nice knowing your fur babies are taken care of while you are away.”

About: I have owned and cared for cats my entire life, and have extensive experience dog-sitting for friends and family. My goal is to provide stress-free care for your pet. I pride myself in my ability to anticipate a pet’s needs, and give them the space, respect, and attention that they require. I am a full-time graduate student, so I have the summer free to care for your pet, any day and any time! I am free weekdays and weekends, and I am willing and able to provide care any time of day. When providing pet care in your home, I will be careful to follow all instructions meticulously. I understand that not all pets will require extensive attention, especially in their own space where they have an established routine and practices. I will try to disrupt these routines as little as possible, so that your pet has very little disruption to their every-day expectations.
Bexley dog parents share their Rover experiences
Heather is so sweet! She offered a repeat meet and greet when we got our second pup so he could get to know her as well. She was also able to help with drop ins last minute this visit which was so appreciated. She is thorough, asks great questions to ensure good care, and sends photos with her visits! Highly recommend :)

Needed someone last minute to drop in on my girl this weekend, and Merri came to the rescue! She was great! Kept me informed and sent pictures throughtout the visit. It was very reassuring to know my pup was going to get out some cooped up energy while I was working. Thank you so much! I will definitely be keeping you in mind if I ever need someone for her again! And would definitely recommend her to others.

Jovonna took care of my new puppy the first couple of months of her life while I was working. She was reliable and her communication was excellent. She helped me out on one occasion when my other sitter was unavailable at the last minute. She really helped me to feel confident leaving my young puppy home when I went to work. I can't thank her enough and hope to see her again for the occasional pet sitting need. I highly recommend Jovonna.

Aaron has been wonderful with Milo both when I’m home and while I’ve been out of town. My dog isn’t always easy to work with, but Aaron handled him with patience and skill. He’s reliable, always on time, and truly cares. I’m really grateful to have found him and to have his help whenever I need it.

Emily G. is fantastic! She cared for our pittie like she was her own pup. Emily sent us wonderful photos of playing with Roxy, and every meal and walk as well. She was always on time and whenever we came home after Emily had visited, we could tell Roxy was very happy. Roxy is a reactive dog, she is afraid of small animals and very afraid of dogs, and Emily G. was happy to take on this extra work. This means she walked Roxy and when she saw an animal would redirect with treats. Basically Emily helped us train Roxy! I cannot recommend her enough.

Kayla was so helpful with caring for my two dogs while I worked long hours at the hospital this week! The pictures were amazing, and I greatly appreciated her administering eye drops for our dog Lewey that was dealing with some eye irritation. She was truly a life saver and would highly recommend her to others!

Jackeline and her husband are fantastic pet sitters! My dog Marco was well cared for and he always seemed to be having fun in his updates. Communication, timeliness, and attention to his care plan were all highlights for me. Marco enjoyed his walks, playtime at the park, getting brushed, and even a sneaky treat raid that was promptly cleared away. Thank you guys so much! I will definitely book again
